This isn’t Legacy Edition anymore, folks, it’s Frostbite Engine. Actually looks better than Plants vs Zombies: Battle for Neighborville, previously the only Frostbite game on Switch.

@Max_the_German That would be odd as then the Xbox One X Enhanced game won’t get anything.

Unless Xbox slipped some bucks Take Two’s way and is allowed to FPS Boost the game (like Fallout 3 going from 4K30 to 4K60.)

@Max_the_German It hasn’t been confirmed, but since it’s a straight port (as Xbox isn’t getting it as it’s already 4K,) I doubt they’ll boost the frames just for PS.

If this still had the multiplayer with the single player + Undead Nightmares on the cartridge, I’d be so happy to buy this day 1 physically.

This is like $30 worthy - $20 for the base game and UDN for $10. It’s a port, not a remaster; reason it’s not coming to Xbox since that’s already 4K and I doubt they’ll boost the FPS to 60 on PS.

If it even comes out LOL - there’s countless Nintendo Switch supported Kickstarters that are STILL developing their games way past their expected dates, with some being from reputable developers/publishers

I remember when Starlink came out, there was more reports than ever of missing cartridges. Worker at Best Buy was kind enough to allow me to check; low and behold, it was missing - sealed!

With a title like “We have to do this now,” you’d think this is a make it or break it game for Headcannon, when it was just when the team thought a yo-yo would be a great tool for combat and movement

Not only is the ‘leak’ called the Switch 2, the two in the logo is from 1-2 Switch LOL

And they made the Joy Cons even smaller? Shouldn’t they have gotten bigger?

As someone that watched Survivor religiously with the family when I was a kid, what a weird call to make a game now and not during the Wii era when reality show games were rampant.

Microids is definitely the better of the slew of casual game developers, but they also published Fort Boyard which was a POS.

Some of these negative comments didn’t age well - so happy Frostbite running football is coming to Switch.

I’d love to support Ubisoft on releasing new games on the Switch (or porting something current gen instead of X360/PS3 era ports or remasters,) but The Settlers isn’t my cup of tea. Probably will try it out if it goes on a deep sale.

@Lizuka Maybe, but last November ‘Direct’ was an Indie World and years during the Switch’s lifecycle, they were exclusively for specific games (like Smash Bros. or Xenoblade.)

The September Direct is usually for the first half/Q1 of the next year, so maybe Luigi Mansion: Dark Moon or the Princess Peach game is coming out early next year.

Could also have another shadow drop of a legacy game or an addition to Nintendo Switch Online (new games on existing platforms, DS, Gamecube, or really anything as Sega Genesis games are a separate addition.)

And just because they announced the games already won’t stop them from showing more (or have a 5-10 minute game showcase during it.)

Are people forgetting Nintendo usually has a Direct in September? Usually mid-September, but I’m sure a direct is somehow connected to being behind closed doors at TGS (won’t stop the leakers though tee hee)

Please do this for more games! Big gaming websites that I know of haven’t done this. Not only interesting, but informative and up to date information is great.

Seems like most still occurring glitches are humorous with the rare occurrence of being soft locked at specific missions.

Is Raw Thrills working on this? GameMill published Cruis n’ Blast and this looks very much like that - if so, makes me more excited!

I’ll probably get crucified by the fighting game community for saying this, but I’d love a 30 FPS quality mode if this is unlocked like the last game.

Seems more like Asphalt 9 with those stunt incorporations; interested nevertheless!

Surprised with the comments about Asphalt; once you get far enough in the game, it pretty much forces your hand on buying MTX for either new cars or upgrading/buffing your maxed out cars without having to grind out the repetitive event missions.

@steventonysmith I’m the same way, enjoying Dreamlight Valley, but since it’s in early access, I’m not giving Gameloft a free pass yet on not ruining the game.

Since this is like their second or third delay overall, they should have just said it’s coming when it’s ready.

First cloud version game I’ll probably never support as it doesn’t seem too graphically intensive for the Switch as it runs on Unreal Engine; was probably a time pressed issue, but would rather either have it get canned, delayed, or maybe the cloud release with a potential native port in the future.

Most likely this was released early if Nintendo Life is reporting on it, but Nintendo Everything’s source was also ppe.pl and ppe.pl’s source was just considered one of their readers.

It’s just so stupid people are giving this app attention - something shovel ware developers DO NOT deserve. It’s a tool that comes with most modern non-gaming devices.

RIP to the people like me that mainly play portable and want Bowser’s Fury at 60 FPS. Luckily it’s only 3 hours to get through the story according to a pre review article.

The games themselves are able to be ported, hence why they’re all included on this article, the engines is where the work will be done.
