@Anti-Matter You don’t like the fact that it exist, just because some other company won’t port your games over? Makes sense to me.
I got this feeling, it's in my bones, it goes electric, wavy when I turn it on
You could probably guess what I caught on to watching Ubisoft Forward earlier being the resident Trolls fan here.
Slightly off topic, but what happened to Sands of Time remake?
No Wii version? Aww ...
@Vil The last entry released on Wii was Just Dance 2020.
This latest one (Just Dance 2023 Edition) will be the third entry that hasn't been released on Wii.
@Liam_Doolan I know. Just a joke. Should've had another Wii port just for the meme to live on.
@Vil Ah, right! I've seen some comments elsewhere asking about a Wii version. Pretty sure they were serious. 😂
@Anti-Matter You do know there's room for both?
@Liam_Doolan Haha! No, I was just embracing the hilarious idea of a Wii port in 2022 ...I had no idea people actually still want that ...Wow! Sorry for making fun of them in that case! 🤣
If we’re talking Music Games, it's time to make a new:
*Honourable Mention: Mario Paint
… Wun can only hope.
Here we make Strip Just Dance. Who loses...takes off a piece of clothing..it´s crazy...Don't judge us, we have a very liberal life here.
Just Dance is fever here! Greaat game!!
But...I think the service "Just Dance Unlimited" better than buy new games.
With Just Dance Unlimited you have 600+ songs and its cheap.
This is a shocking announcement. Who would have ever thought Just Dance would make a 2023 edition. 🧐
@Anti-Matter I’m going to try to say this in the least rude way possible, because I’m not trying to be.
But you are the last person that should be talking about someone’s bad taste in video games, and saying that they couldn’t appreciate something better, like the last person.

@Anti-Matter I kinda agree that western music is pretty crap these days. However "Stepping frantically" isn't dancing (the way pros play ddr anyway). I do Love DDR music tho. I'd argue the just dance series incorporates more actual dancing into it's games. Which can make it fun if you have friends with you playing. Tho they really should leave out the garbage songs. The selections haven't been too great imo as of recent years lol. Always best to wait for a sale or price drop on just dance games.
That is one hideous new art style
@Travisemo007
And that's why in DDR 3rd Mix there was SSR Mode (Step Step Revolution) that basically Maniac difficulty with frantic stepcharts which you have to step the arrows faster and precisely. And that makes the game more interesting for me as I can play DDR until Expert and Challenge difficulty.
I'm Speedy type DDR player, great on clearing difficult songs than do freestyle dancing.
I would like to have partner playing DDR on Arcade together on at least Expert difficulty rather than moving my body with terrible move sets from Just Dance.
I would rather playing Para Para Paradise by Konami for Super Eurobeat songs (my favorite music genre) with incorporate arrows and hands movement.
@Anti-Matter para para and super eurobeat is fun x). I'm not really a score chaser. I just find dancing fun. As long as it's not on easy, say normal or medium difficulty's usually provide enough notes/steps, for me and allow me to enjoy it at the same time without making it a chore lol. I won't ever play expert on any rythm game. It's just always wayyyy too much for me lol.
Breaking News: also Fifa 23 coming … boring. Every year the same games with minor tweaks…
Ubisoft and ea have only a few games that are really interesting. Rest is just the same every year …
I've always thought it was stupid that they never brought the optional karaoke feature from the Wii U versions over to the Switch installments. It would be such an easy way to add value to the overall package.

We're still getting this but haven't had a single portable Far Cry game, sucks, I would happily happily replay FC3 or 4 on the Switch.
Since when have the dance avatars had faces? I don't like that one bit, it's waaaaay to creepy!
@Axecon They had slowly been leading up to that, I don’t like it ether, loved it when they didn’t have faces.
This series has been dead to me ever since they moved to a subscription based model a few years back, which is a gigantic shame as I adored the older Wii entries (2 to 2016 to be precise). Maybe I'll get one of them if I'm desperate but now? I feel nothing towards the modern entries.
This isn’t as exciting as I thought it’d be to see Just Dance get an overhaul. I do like the Friend Lobby feature though.
I'm kind of amused at how much controversy this article generated. Personally I am terrible at rhythm games but like Just Dance basically as an exercise game. I actually have Just Dance in the same Switch Folder as Ring Fit. The songs aren't all the best but they are fine as work-out type songs. However, I don't like the 'buy new game every year plus pay a subscription if you want more than 3 songs' pricing model so I haven't bought a new version for a few years.
Is it coming to Wii?
@Vil
The just dance audience is in fact grandparents who think that the Wii is the latest hottest new game system and/or parents who don’t want to pay PS5 prices just so their five year old can think they’re controller is plugged in while jiggling to Katy Perry.
@Anti-Matter
These games are made for and targeted at little kids, dude.
@Emerstta it ruined your life?!😂
@wuntyme8 As a RH fan, you should check out the modding scene for RH Megamix
One thing that wasn't mentioned here is that 2023 will be digital only/code-in-box across all platforms.
How utterly pathetic for a game that costs next to nothing to make (music licensing aside, of course, though their selections have been consistently pitiful of late). I hope this flops catastrophically for Ubisoft.
