Wow 10.2 already ! Bought myself a gaming laptop a few months ago... Never turned my Switch on since then. And from what I see here, there is no reason to change that 😂

Happy for the fans but then again... A freaking 60$ port of an older game. It’s baffling.

We need a Zelda collection next year for the BD just like we will get a Mario one this year. But honestly I am extremely sick of first party ports...

In the previous news everybody is praising Nintendo for the quality and how polished the games release day one 😂

I think Just Cause 3 was huge. Older Elder Scrolls entries were massive as well. But big doesn’t rhyme with fun. I’d rather have something smaller and filled with interesting things to do, rather than a huge empty map (kind of like BoTW).

Happy this game got fixed. I wanted it day one but didn’t buy because the bugs mentioned. I will grab it on sales though, I am too busy right + I just got dragons dogma and assassins creed rebel. I have countless hours of gaming right in front of me 😁

Aaaaah Nintendo... Nintendo, Nintendo, Nintendo... that’s right, keep shutting third parties out. I mean so far your half assed ports and average exclusive titles have done the trick, so why not ? I thought finally you opened to third parties and tried to have a more diversified audience but no, staying close minded with good ol’ Japanese-style conservationism. Next Nintendo gen is definitely without me.

Nintendo really needs some cool third party releases and those won’t do. I’m happy for SMT fans but this is a niche audience... They need something from Rockstar or more from Bethesda/EA/Warner Bros. Considering that you can’t play RDR1 on the current generation of consoles, it would be a huge plus to get it on the Switch and I am sure it would sell some hardware. Come on Nintendo!

I am not buying EA as long as I don't get a physical of Mass Effect trilogy with all DLCs on my Switch. Will consider stopping my EA boycott and grab NFS HP if that happens.

They are most def thinking about PC and Stadia... Don't get your hopes too high.

@MisterMan I agree that it is a terrible port... Still DS is the game I put the most hours in on my Switch along with Skyrim and Witcher 3. I really wish I grabbed a physical of Divinity as well... Impossible to find one at a decent price now :/

Nintendo fan boys are too funny, being angry at EA for a 10 year old port at 50$ that runs at 60fps 720p handheld but applauding Nintendo for a port of Xenoblade at 60$ that doesn’t even run at 30 FPS constant in 368-480p.

People who buy that crap get what they deserve on top of encouraging increasing bad practices from Nintendo. What a joke... On par with Atari ‘s bs.

Weird West and SW3 were the most interesting ones imo. Great presentation though. I really hope Weird West makes it to the Switch.

I always found this game average. Yes it looks good even today but the gameplay is kinda meh

I wouldn’t hold my breath waiting for them to do anything about it.

I experienced drift in both my joy cons after barely 6 months. I bought a small set of tools and two sticks (unofficial ones) on amazon for not even 10€, changed them and never experienced the problem again (drift free for almost two years now). I can’t recommend enough to do the same if you have this problem.

No Mass Effect Trilogy, no money from me.
I’d take Dragon age, Dead space, Mirror’s Edge etc but as long as I don’t get a decent physical for MET on my Switch, I am never buying an EA game again. (Last EA game I bought was ME3 so I can be really patient)

NFS is kinda cool for the fans though...

I don’t really care about this game but the more EA supports the switch, the closer I am to play Mass Effect Trilogy on my favourite console. Hence, I am very happy that EA brings more and more game !

Ubisoft is in the same boat now honestly. I think of the three, Activision is actually the lesser evil... Take 2 is same level or worst than ea now :/

Damn, the vultures are already looming... One thing is for certain, Warner games are not gonna stay fun for long if one of those three gets a say in it.

And yet Skyrim still doesn't have a brightness option or mods that the hacking community is fully enjoying. But I guess updating a game without micro-transactions isn't really worth it, right Bethe$da ?

Just make the online service free, at least people wouldn’t need to register a credit card in there if you can’t even protect their data. I have never subscribed to this crappy service and never saved any info so I’m ok but not even acknowledging you messed up and not offering some kind of gesture of good will to those affected is really low even by nowadays standards.

Take-Two and 2K are some of the worst companies within the videogame industry. Very close to EA at that point... You should check them out before praising them, they are inhuman and shameless. The CEO of 2k is a scumbag who stole bonuses from the game developers when BD3 released and Take-Two, well they are even worst (just look up the very recent Star Theory studio story). Really nothing to support or encourage, just saying.

I can smell the cloud service from here... In any case this gear micro is really not a good sign.

Those two take two games will obviously be Mafia and NBA... No gta or red dead yet but we shouldn’t loose hope I guess. Although if i could choose, I would take GTAIV and RDR1 over GTAV and RDR2 any day, if only for a technical issue. I’d rather play a smooth 1080p 30fps than the alternative. Speaking of which:

Keep telling yourself that and encouraging malpractices by paying full price for a half assed port/remaster. For the time being I am enjoying much more demanding games than XC at 720p 30fps handheld (yes Borderlands 2 and Bioshock infinite are much more demanding than a wii game from 2010). It is insane to actually pretend to be happy to play such a dated game at a lower resolution in 2020.

I bought BD1 goty on the eshop. I already finished BD2 over and over again on PC. I have a fond memory of the first one so I am excited to replay it on my switch. 30€ is way too overpriced though...

378p in 2020, that’s a joke right ? I don’t have a tv so I can’t play decently ? Cancelling my preorder, I’ll buy it if they patch it. Seriously, even Witcher 3 does better...

Well after trying to make money out of free mods the community made for Skyrim; this shameful pay to win; the denuvo update of Doom eternal including a software installing a rootkit on your pc; the brand new and shiny monetization policy on fallout 76 (see link below) and probably more that I am forgetting right now, it is hard to root for them... They have become one of the worst companies along with EA and Activision-Blizzard.

Dark souls is my favourite game on my switch, I doubled dipped without hesitating. Would double dip the same for Demon Souls, Ds2 (which is the worst one) and DS3. I hope it will eventually come to the switch seriously ! I finished those over and over again on PS3 and PC. I think blood borne has no chance to get on the switch since it is a PS4 exclusivity.

Seriously Bethesda is dead💀 I am pretty sure they are going to mess up TESVI and I am much more hyped for skywind ! For those who don’t know, it is a mod for Skyrim and Morrowind. Modders are remaking Morrowind with Skyrim’s engine 🤤

Damn, Bastion making the list is just sad. It is neither an RPG nor a good game (same goes with transistor)
Botw is a good game but not an RPG.
I wish we would get the other souls games, Fallout NV and Mass effect trilogy to complete that sad sad list.

I am not a JRPG fan but I must say that I am really intrigued by this game. I am scared to get bored with the combat gameplay though. I think I will give it a shot anyway, the environments and the music are dreamy !
Is that ok to play it without even touching the other games ?

I bought the switch when I saw TESV and Dark souls released and Witcher 3 was announced (I am exactly this type of audience). I thought maybe this would go on. Obviously, I was sorely mistaken. A mistake I won’t make again unless N proves me wrong by the end of the switch life span.
But most of all I bought the switch because I moved in and out 4-5 times these past two years and changed country twice. I can’t really buy a console or fixed pc as I need to be really mobile for my studies. So thanks for the implication in your comment but buying the switch actually made sense at the time. Now, I do regret more of the games I would like don’t release on the console.

No GTA, Red dead redemption, Batman, Dark souls 2&3 (or any From Software), recent assassin’s creed, Mass effect (let’s face it, it will not make it to the switch), Tony Hawk, Skate, Star Wars game that isn’t 20 year old, Call of Duty (although I don’t like those games), metal gear, Portal, Half life, Far cry, Dead space, deus ex, tomb raider, dishonoured, dragon age, fallout etc etc just to name a few. That is heavy third party support indeed...

At this point you have to realise that it’s Nintendo’s fault, why else would all those third party companies avoid the switch ? Everybody knows the switch will outsell xbox1 and PS4 by now but we still just get all N games from previous generations. Might be enough for some, but I am truly disappointed in the Switch, should be way better.

It’s the last time I buy Nintendo hardware, we get all the shovelware and 30 yo arcade games only niche players enjoy but all the good stuff skips the switch... THPS2 is awesome for anybody who never played it, shame 50 million+ can’t enjoy this remaster. Thanks Nintendo...

My feeling exactly, ME3 got so much unjustified hate, the game in itself is amazing but people blocked on the last 5 minutes. MET as a whole is my absolute favorite experience of PS3/360 generation along with Red Dead Redeption. Playing it on the go is THE dream.

I hope Mass effect trilogy will make it to the switch. But I won’t get my hopes up, it is EA we are talking about...

Considering how much shovelware makes it to the switch, why not put it on smartphones were it belongs and leave us the good stuff ?
