Happened to me several times, here are a 2 more fixes that worked for me:

• This one works from time to time: unplug the switch, disconnect the joy-cons from the switch and plug the console again. Do not reconnect joy-cons during the charging. If the little lightning bolt does not appear next to the battery sign, the fix didn’t work.
  • this one works every time: Plug your switch for like 5-10 min. Unplug the switch adapter from the wall NOT from the switch for like 5-10 min. Replug your adapter to the wall and you are good to go

I completely agree with you and this observation really hurts, the switch’s catalog could be so much more...

A release of Force Unleashed, Dragon age and Dead Space collections would be really nice for the switch but they really need to give us Mass Effect trilogy, it is the perfect console for those incredible games. It has become a strong necessity. Best gaming experience of its generation... It has to be ported in physical, everything on one cartridge. I would buy that day one full price I don’t care, I want it.

Demon souls, Red Dead Redemption 1 and Mass effect trilogy need to get to the switch (I actually bought my switch for ports not Nintendo games)

Funny how Nintendo is the only one getting “delayed” when quarantine started much later than anywhere else in Japan...

Really wanted those bioshock and borderlands collections in physical without even caring about the abusive price but considering you have to download 40Gb, ain’t no way I am buying these half assed ports. Might go for Metro redux but i finished it twice on PC already... Anyway nothing for me in 2020 so far.

So they won’t release anything in order to not have disappointing sales ? This is flawed logic. If they don’t release anything, they won’t sell anything and the switch will therefore stop selling. If they follow your logic, Sony and Microsoft are gonna tear them a new one.

Nintendo is getting me salty, especially when you know MS is announcing the games for its next gen on the 7th this month and that Last of us 2 and Ghost just got release dates. Nintendo is hiding behind covid when they had nothing planned for 2020 from the start (except ACNH). And only unreasonable fanboys in the comments think it is justified and even “are happy” that they get no games... I still hope for some good quality ports (hopefully better than the crap 2K pulled with Borderlands). Maybe we will get a big announcement like Witcher 3 last year.

I can already hear it: “ well we tried our best but switch gamers really don’t want any of our games”

Seriously though, aside from Dead Space and Mass effect trilogies (which would make awesome switch ports btw), they don’t have anything I care about. Just crumble and die EA

I hate the fact that gamers are dumb enough to reward lootbox and microtransaction practices and therefore reducing interest from big companies into making actual efforts to edit good games

EA is the worst... they have no shame seriously. I will give them my money for Mass Effect Trilogy and Dead space trilogy on the switch if it is physical and one cartridge per collection without big downloads. I think it is safe to assume EA will never see my money again 😂 (last game I bought from them was ME3). Stop being a statistical number people, boycott !

Yesterday I got Bastion at 2.5 € (80% off) on the French eshop and yet I don't see it mentioned in any of those "super sale" news. No idea why, but can't wait to try it out tonight

Trials is good, it would be excellent without all its micro-transactions.
At that price I will grab AC rebel collection 👍

Borderlands 1 is 8 gb with all dlcs on pc, Borderlands 2 is 12gb with all dlc. They could have easily put the two on a cartridge and put the presequel on download. Using a bigger cardridge would at least justify the price... The greed is strong in this one.
I really wanted Bioshock and Borderlands but this is a huge deal breaker for me.

20€ on the Europe eshop, gotta be a joke for a 20yo game... The direct is getting me salty between the huge download for Borderland and this.
