It seems whatever someone finds New Amazon Listings for Games most of time it's fake or some type of error.

It's surprising not to see GTAV on Switch yet, as it could sell like hotcakes, but if it hasn't come out already, I don't know if it will. Perhaps the online infrastructure of the Switch isn't good enough for GTA Online...
I think this is going to be either NBA or Mafia.

See this is what happens when Nintendo do not give out information, and all we are left with is place holders on websites, of course the masses will just carry on and wait for games to be announced, where the core minorities will continue the speculation and wish lists, then try to see if some previous rumors might shed some light on matters too.

Obviously it's a typo. The listing is actually for Tak 2: The Staff of Dreams, being remade as a launch title for Nintendo's next-gen system, the Nintendo Switch 2!

@the_beaver I believe it actually does have something to do with the online infrastructure. Or at least that could be part of the reason. I won't go into the other parts, I personally think Rockstar isn't very fond of Nintendo.

But concentrating on just the online side of it, they could still give us 1 to 4 or even 5 without the online.

The thing is, GTA 5 needs a stupidly big patch for the online. It would most likely be 50+ gigs.

Many people, myself included. Wouldn't buy GTA 5 if there was a patch that took 50 gigs. Like Doom they could make it optional. But even then, you'll be missing the best part of the game because it'll be locked behind a stupidly huge patch.

I would actually prefer GTA4 as 5 has been remastered to death. Would love to play through that story again and tye two DLC packs.

@Razer The best part of the game is locked behind a patch? Why would they hide the single player behind that and keep the MTX infested hellhole what is Online on cart?

I'm still shocked GTA V hasn't been brought over yet. I doubt it would take much effort to port the PS3 version and just upgrade things here and there.

Hey Nintendolife, can we get some reviews on Bioshock, Borderlands and Xcom 2 collections? I checked them out yesterday and they are gorgeous. In fact, they look much better than Xenoblade Chronicles DE, which, while improved from the Wii version, looks kind of dated. The fact is, we got three AAA series on the Switch. That's huge.

@kingbk you cant compare those games to xenoblade man they have different art styles and i still think xenoblade has the most beautiful environment over those games.

All the rumored listings are great, but it's to be expected at this time of the year. Here's hoping they don't take the anti-consumer approach Next Level Games has with Luigi's Mansion 3, and not include an inverted y axis so Millions more can play.

I know everyone really wants GTA 5 on Switch, me included - but I'd personally really like to see GTA 4 and San Andreas more.

But I am afraid Rockstar said goodbye to Nintendo quite some time ago when it comes to GTA. If they are smart though, they know it will bring in significant additional sales.

I would hope Mafia 1 and 2 (maybe 3?), plus GTA III, Vice City, San Andreas, Liberty City Stories and Vice Stories collections. Those would be my hopes for those SKUs.

@Sun-WuGoku Didn't 2K and Rockstar lose the right to the original GTA and its sequel? 1 and 2 have never been re-released to my knowledge. It seems the revisionist version of GTA history is to start at III and go forward.

I would love to see the original two GTAs personally, but I don't think they'll be coming.

Yeah I don't understand why ANY GTA game has not been brought to the Switch get? It would be easy money!? It blows my mind really when games like the outer worlds and the Witcher 3 look and run amazingly on the hardware.

Those two take two games will obviously be Mafia and NBA... No gta or red dead yet but we shouldn’t loose hope I guess. Although if i could choose, I would take GTAIV and RDR1 over GTAV and RDR2 any day, if only for a technical issue. I’d rather play a smooth 1080p 30fps than the alternative. Speaking of which:

Keep telling yourself that and encouraging malpractices by paying full price for a half assed port/remaster. For the time being I am enjoying much more demanding games than XC at 720p 30fps handheld (yes Borderlands 2 and Bioshock infinite are much more demanding than a wii game from 2010). It is insane to actually pretend to be happy to play such a dated game at a lower resolution in 2020.
