Or just make it look like WarioLand: The Shake Dimension, but in 1080p and with some added Lightning Effects and what not. That game was freaking gorgeous.
I hope that's just from bad translating, but it seems a bit weird he would state that the game had a very bad control system (as if it were fact), instead of just voicing his opinion how he feels about the control system.
Have to agree on the bosses being somewhat lacklustre, but this will always be a 10/10 in my book. Still remember getting the console and game bundled in a beautiful box, totally awestruck. And then of course enjoying the game for years.
Really makes the regular 3DS look so slow in comparison. Smash 4 has been the first actual game (so not the Eshop or other apps) where the start-up time kinda bugs me, so nice to see it'll a lot better with the N3DS. Thanks for making this video Nintendo-Life!
I kinda doubt 8-player battles and character DLC to be true, mostly because 8 just seems like too many players for almost all stages expect Temple and character DLC just seems unlikely unless it's for both versions. Stages (even Items) as DLC would make more sense and seems very plausible.
Rumours about needing to connect your Wii U to your 3DS to get certain characters are obvious BS if you ask me, seeing as Nintendo would never act that foolish toward people who only have a 3DS (and this is coming from someone who owns both), especially since the player-base for 3DS is much larger than it is for the Wii U.
IMO it's so stupid the Amiibo will be launching this year, along with the Wii U version of Smash, but the New 3DS and NFC accessory for regular 3DS (which have a lot bigger user-base than the Wii U) don't get released 'till somewhere in 2015..
@Kosmo In For Glory it's 2 stocks 5 minutes (which is plenty of time for 2 stocks), so at least there's that.
I was interested in buying Fantasy Life, but meh, Smash 4 is coming out a week later, so I don't really feel like spending money on another 3DS-game right away. Badly timed release if you ask me, probably would've bought it a month ago. Might get it at some point down the road, if I'm not overwhelmed by the amount of other games I have to play.
@brewsky You could play the game for all eternity and still wouldn't know if you had to do something specific to unlock them and thus wouldn't know if they were in or out unless you read it somewhere, so I don't really see how this would hurt your experience.
EDIT: If anything, it softens the blow, seeing as you won't have to play the game for ages and than go: "Where the hell are the ICs?"
Never used or planned on using a Circle Pad Pro (do own a 3DS since day 1) and I actually plan on buying a New 3DS, but I still think this is a duck move by Nintendo. Really shouldn't screw people with a 3DS like that. Hell even if you are willing to buy a New 3DS, people outside of Japan who'd want to use a c-stick in Smash Bros. 3DS will still have to wait 'till somewhere in 2015, before being able to.
@OP: Dunno how it is in your country, but here (Holland) every train-station actually does have free Wi-Fi. Mostly posting this because of the three dots you placed behind it.
But he's not using Wi-Fi, as the other players have CPU above their heads, meaning it's singleplayer.
I've always bought the (direct, so not things like Gameboy Pocket) revisions of Nintendo's handhelds (GBC/GBA SP/DSi), so this will be no different.
I'm mostly excited about being able to properly view 3D now, seeing as [for me] it's impossible to constantly keep the 3DS pointed at me while playing and I'm always swaying ever so slightly. If it's now fixed so that you can at least sway a little and not notice any changes in the 3D-effect, I'll be very pleased.
Ugh, must have this. Pretty lame Japan is getting this only a month after they get Smash, while we (Europe, in my case) have to wait until at least January 2015 and probably a few months after that, so it'll most likely end up being released 4+ months after Smash's release..
IMO the title is way too harsh. Just because an employee feels having actual car-brands within Mario Kart 'kinda breaks the magic', this would already imply he "really doesn't like" it? If anything, he/she just feels it's a bit out of place, which isn't that weird of a thing to say/feel, if you ask me.
The choice between Pokemon Red and Link's Awakening is a pretty tough one to make for me, but I'd have to go with Link's Awakening, just because you might as well play Pokemon X/Y instead of Red/Blue. Though admittedly I'd totally still buy Pokemon Red on 3DS VC if it was available.
Instantly buying both versions anyway, though I have to admit I kinda feel the 3DS version will end up being mostly a warm-up to the Wii U version. Which is also the only rational reasoning I could think of as to why they would release the 3DS version first. Well that and the 3DS version just being easier to develop.
Dual screen co-op/versus, that's freaking great! Was going to buy it nonetheless, but that's a pretty awesome feature if you ask me (one I wish Mario Kart 8 had).
My God it's gorgeous. Plus open-world is something I've always wanted from the 3D Zelda games (though back in the day of OoT it felt big enough, but say SS felt too confined)!
Highly doubt Nintendo would want everybody to be constantly hopping, so doubt it's an intentional or even a wanted side-effect and IMO this should be patched.
It all depends for me really. If I can notice a stutter every second, it'll be quite annoying. If this isn't the case, I couldn't care less! We'll see in less than a week.
My oh my, I wasn't that interested in this seeing as I've never been into the Warriors-series, but I'm totally a Zelda fanboy and this does look quite nice!
While I kind of dislike exclusives all together, seeing as the more platforms a game releases on, the more people will be able to enjoy it, it's nice to see some positive news about the cooperation between Nintendo and an indie developer, seeing as Nintendo hasn't had the best track record with those.
Nonetheless, I still think it's really stupid Nintendo has missed so many of the great indie games over the last few years, which were released on basically every platform except the Wii-U. Here's hoping for a better future..

Re: Take A Look At The Super Mario And Pokémon HOME Menu Themes Arriving This Week On 3DS
@SpookyMeths I'm really digging the Wooden Mario Characters one, which isn't very loud at all (something I also prefer).

Buying DKC again, even though I already own all three through the Wii channel. They're just that good.

PS Vita outselling regular 3DS, bit surprised about that.

Ordered one! Had been sitting on those stars for way too long, so about time to get something nice for them.
Re: More Single Player Details Enter The Battle in Super Smash Bros. For Nintendo 3DS
Does this also mean we get to set the CPU level in normal Smash Battles to 2.1-9.0 (so f.e. 7.3 being a possibility)?
Also, yay classic mode! Looking good.
