What does this mean exactly if I may ask? Does the car drive by itself or does letting go of the accelerate button not do anything?

@Yorumi I think you're just making assumptions about them purposely hiding it, without any real evidence to back it up, but I do agree it would've been better if there was at least a mention of the things that are missing.

Let's just hope all or at least most of the missing things will be added in the future, I'm sure we will both be happy about that!

@Yorumi Right now you seem to be the one "getting so up in arms" about this. I already said it would've been nice if they included that information, but many reviews everywhere on the internet have incomplete information, that's also not the main purpose of a review. Like I said, it doesn't automatically make the review dishonest. If you think some "this game sux 0/10" review is equal to the the 10/10 review NintendoLife wrote for New Horizons, that's your opinion.

Bare in mind, I also don't think it's a 10/10, but I also don't think NL was being dishonest with their review. In the end no game is perfect and there's always going to be things that can be added/improved upon.

And there's always going to be inconsistencies when comparing one review to the other, especially when they're written by two different people.

@Yorumi I guess for you them giving a 10/10 means they think it's absolutely perfect? Since they don't literally say that. I would think you've been around this site long enough to know a 10/10 here doesn't mean the game is perfect. And even if they do think that way, a review is subjective. I do think it would've been better if they mentioned all the missing stuff, but I wouldn't say not doing so is lying by omission.

I also would've loved to see more stores, furniture and special characters, but not having them doesn't seem to bring the game down for most people, or at least not by much.

@Yorumi I never said they didn't cut anything, nor did I say the game is perfect. I also never implied that's not something worth noting in a review, however not noting it doesn't automatically make the review dishonest. Not sure what point you were trying to make.

Ah, the good old pulling statistics out of thin air and saying someone is being dishonest when they don't have the same opinion as you. Those make for some great arguments...

@Unit_DTH If savegames were on the SD card, nobody would be complaining. Unfortunately, they're locked to the system, so unless you hack it, you can't access it..

Sigh >,< (only sighing for my money), instant-buy. This game blew me away on WiiWare and with the amount of games I've played since then, this one really made an impact. Already bought it digitally again on Switch, but I won't be able to resist this one, it really is a master-class in awesome game design.

@TioRogerio Me too, still have to find out what the amiibo's actually do though. I guess we will find that out in a Direct soon. ^^

I highly recommend Broforce, especially at that price, though I think it's worth the full price as well. Amazingly fun and responsive side-scrolling shooter with very diverse characters that are a joy to play with. The destructible environment is great too. ^^

So while it doesn't change the fact it's a hard sell, this is not one of the reasons why.

Those are some very rough graphics, looks like a PS2 game to me.

I love Nintendo's franchises, but I also love how they dare to try new things. And while I'm at it, I also love Miyamoto for being the founding father of some of my most beloved franchises (and my number one most loved franchise, Zelda). With all he has accomplished and put out, he'd be hard pressed to do wrong in my book!

I haven't ordered/bought Sword or Shield yet, but it's clear that Alex isn't the only one who thinks this game was FUN enough to deserve an 8. I'm still sceptical, but that's his opinion and I respect that and the most important thing are the things he actually wrote about, not the score. Comparing this game's score to a game that's decades old is just complete nonsense. Not only is that by a different person, but it's also in a different age/time. Anyone who tries to compare these scores and thinks they're making a valid argument are just acting.. silly.

@LinkSword Afaik digital sales are not included in these things, which means the software sales on Switch would be way higher.

Probably going to get downvoted, but am I the only one getting tired of this non-news about Untitled Goose Game? Yes, it's a fun game, but most of the posts about it are just social media nonsense.

I'm just wondering if this is ever going to sale significantly. I would think pricing a pack like this much cheaper would net you more money in the end, since so many more people would buy it.

Was already leaning towards Pokemon Sword and this announcement is definitely not changing my mind. Will still wait and see, so I can compare all versions exclusives and pick the one which has the ones I like most (which is how I choose all my Pokemon versions except Pokemon Red, because Charizard [plus not having a clue there were version exclusives until playing it with friends]).
