@steventonysmith Bowser broke the law. I don't want to be a pirate or break the law. it is not illegal to do whatever you like with your own property, if it has no impact on anyone else. Show me the law that says it is. Your quote from Nintendo wasn't a law and wasn't relevant to privately using a rom from a game you own. Besides, I didn't say I did any of this stuff, just said I could, and it would be legal. Show me a real UK law that says it isn't legal. Section 50(A) of the 1988 Copyright, Designs and Patents Act says it is legal.

@steventonysmith well, your understanding is wrong here too. You do not need any of these devices to create a backup from a GameCube disk that you legally own. I'm not going to tell you how it is done, but it is clear you wont understand. Besides, it is only illegal to distribute software, online; giving it to people who didn't pay for it. I'm talking about using the software you own, any way you like, without selling anything and without purchasing a device to circumvent any kind of copy protection, because you don't need to. Besides, Japanese companies do not make UK law. Nobody has ever been prosecuted for making a backup of their own videogame disk for their own personal use in the UK, ever, because it isn't illegal. I'll just add, that you can find emulators on the play store, microsoft store, steam and all over the place, because they are also not illegal, when used with software you bought legally.

@steventonysmith weird that this software runs on computers isn't it? Next you'll say, with it's ATI gpu and IBM cpu, ram, motherboard and interchangeable operating system, a GameCube isn't a computer either. But you are wrong. The Oxford dictionary defines a computer as "an electronic machine that can store, organize and find information, do processes with numbers and other data"... But really this is like me telling someone the earth is round so I'm not going to explain any more.

Lots of people downplaying the importance of 3D on the 3DS. I know Nintendo did the same, probably due to tabloid tales of the effect on kids eyes, but for me the 3D effect was the whole point of the 3DS. Games were low res, nowhere near as good graphics as the vita but it was in 3D, so it was better. First time I saw that 3D I thought it was some kind of impossible voodoo.
