Anything that's not a trolling FF spinoff geared towards the Nintendo crowd (read: Crystal Chronicles or Explorers) would be fantastic. Hell I'm all for new IP's. Nintendo's take on classic franchises with a new idea or two is fine but we need a game that's actually NEW in order to break ground on Switch.

It's official: Nintendo is broadening the demographic base for Switch on Day 1. XD

@Bruh The haters of the supreme universe won't have that. They'll summon the torch and pitchfork gods to wreak havoc on Reggie before NoA have any say on Switch's specs. We're all just totally impatient right now and will destroy anything. XDD

I think many are boycotting Sony products in wake of the recent Sony Music producer scandal (many are accused of rape but judges let them walk free for whatever crooked reason.). Regardless, it's not exactly shocking Sony would announce new PS4 models, as they did with their entire Playstation lineup (excluding Vita currently).

To be honest I would rather have something, ANYTHING on a more phenomenal level than just more 3ds game announcements.

@Snow-Dust I think the reason for the deformed characters in his game is due to technical limitations, not style choice. If they were more realistic it would have taken up a lot more cartridge or memory space.

Actually Blast Ball can either be fun or terrible depending on your skill level, and of course since I'm not all that great in Splatoon I haven't won any matches in this either.

The main game looks promising enough though, if only to tide us over for MP4, and at least the co-op elements aren't too enforced...

I could tell many folks at Retro like Behr were secretly anime fans... Buddy & Me is a whimsical tale reminiscent of Studio Ghibli films, and Armature helped make both Bloodstained and ReCore even though the main heroines of both have a wild anime girl vibe going on with their wardrobe.

Since I already own most of these games digital I'll just buy the NES controller for my Wii U. XDD

I dunno, might still happen. A spinoff more than a port, perhaps...

People are still sore over Nintendo's e3 2015. Hell, some are still sore over e3 2003 after so long, because connectivity screwed them over. I'd say if you absolutely WANT a new Metroid or for NX to be a powerhouse system that will kick the crap out of Sony/M$/Apple, best you either wait or get a life.

Um... I don't really expect Fatal Frame to be like DoA Beach Volleyball, so why should that matter (and never really cared for that kind of tradition of alternate costumes in survival horror and other games anyway, just think it's mildly amusing but little else).

Unlike the game industry Hollywood doesn't give two bones about the effort or quality they put into their films... just find a license, hire at least two pruduction companies with tons of cash at the ready, who then hire graphics and effects artists, a third rate hotshot director, and someone famous enough, and leave the scripting for last since they don't need it to look their worst on screen... voila, another movie set for release.

It's a bar set so low even Honey Boo Boo could direct a film at this rate.

Donkey Kong has already been a staple in Adam Sandler's film legacy, (no?) thanks to Billy Madison (excerpt: http://youtu.be/P9EhvDAMjWc ) so I'm not surprised. But as opposed to Pixels he kinda has a point: there are plenty good classic games out there but only the arcade types like Donkey Kong and Pac Man have the balls to make you play the same stages over and over again on progressively higher difficulty in order to achieve that ridiculous high score.... Will this be 3D enabled? Cause I really can't imagine playing 3D while simultaneously looking down at the bottom screen without epic eye strain... XDD

Let them talk. Iwata very likely picked a possible successor behind closed doors long before his death, and one he counted on. So-called "market changes" like the mobile and Stream sector are mostly fad-related, and will wear thin just like consoles, only quicker. Nintendo's NX might be last for gaming consoles, but it'll be a first for other things, specifically small devices like Apple TV.

And no, Wii U isn't a "bust", Mr Patcher, it had struggles, thanks to a changing market. Get it through your passive-aggressive stance on the market in general, already.

Since polls and comments do not correlate well with one another, I'll just say this: Release a portable with a receiver box for TV/monitor use (and possibly a disc drive attachment, a la Mac Mini, for retail titles), also give the controller/system equal parts Wii Remote and Gampad functions with some added surprises, and it'll be a hit, guaranteed.

Fans are always going to complain about one little thing at e3. Wind Waker was arguably a better showing at e3 2002 than that "connectivity" disaster of e3 2003, but still suffered annoying backlash because it's wasn't anything like the "mature" Zelda demo shown at Spaceworld 2000.

MP Federation Force is the Wind Waker of E3 2015: it's so easily hated when being first announced yet everyone into Metroid will buy it when it releases.

"Final Fantasy Tactics on 3DS" huh? Well, there are a lot of talented artists and musicians in Japan who want to be just like the big guys, yet they can't even make a decent yen, very much like job availability in the US, UK and elswhere, so filling in a void on 3DS would be most logical.

Case in point, for "tl;dr" readers: Wind Waker syndrome.
