Terraria, like Minecraft, has made quite a splash with players who like to create entire worlds out of seemingly simplistic building blocks. It came out on 3DS last year thanks to 505 Games, but in Japan, Spike Chunsoft is handling the publishing duties.
Perhaps sensing a Minecraft-style smash hit, the publisher has produced a 15 minute video which attempts to explain the core mechanics of the game, and - as is usually the case with these kind of videos in Japan - employs an infectiously enthusiastic female presenter to do the demonstration.
Have you taken the plunge with Terraria on the 3DS? Or are you waiting for the Wii U version?

That image needs a caption.
This is lovely - no one sells anything like the Japanese.
@Dezzy Roll your mouse pointer over it.
@Dezzy we already know the captions that go with it. we're just too polite to say.
No Moon Lord, no sale.
That fringe. That inability to breath underwater.
@Dezzy We know exactly what it would say but it's too rude to say here.
She is a member of an absolutely incredible idol group called Dempagumi.inc. I don't typically enjoy "idol" music, but this is something special, highly recommended looking into their music. Start with the video for "サクラあっぱれーしょん" and maybe "ちゅるりちゅるりら" and then go from there. I'm on a crusade to show people the true light of their music.
Oh yeh, I bought it for my N3DS. It is really fun. I do hope they launch exclusive N3DS updates due to hardware restrictions from the regular one.

It's the universal sign language expression for the term "asian porn".
It's natural that Japan loves this, since the character sprites look right out of old Final Fantasy battle graphics... XD
