PS4 sales this week.......

And it was only just starting to recover after last week.

I think PS4 sales are down in anticipation of PS4K or PS4 Slim

Looking forward to the 2DS #s in a couple of weeks. Ntinod might as well just take the Wii U off the store shelves at that point.

And that's why Nintendo doesn't want to formally announce the NX. It would be different if it was releasing this year.

Not sure why people are making fun of the PS4 sales. Cause once they announce the new, better, faster, strong, more sexy PS4, they will see a great holiday.

Hopefully the NX can grab the attention of gamers over Neo/Scorpio. Going to need to come with a mail order girlfriend or something gamers currently lack.

@rjejr - Nintendo needs an ebay account, recall all Wii U systems and then sell them under an assumed name for $750 each......they can start selling amiibos that way too.......great revenue and profits!

aw, poor xbox. that's sad when 126 equals a more than 100% increase in sales.

I like the Xbox, but their lack of Japanese support is my biggest disappointment with their consoles. How did they ever drop the ball, I wonder. (T_T )

Actually, I do know, I read a good article a long time ago by someone who worked with development of the Xbox who explained it. So sad.

@rjejr Maybe Nintendo's decided to not reveal the NX until Wii U sales drop below a certain number, say 2000 for example.

I think many are boycotting Sony products in wake of the recent Sony Music producer scandal (many are accused of rape but judges let them walk free for whatever crooked reason.). Regardless, it's not exactly shocking Sony would announce new PS4 models, as they did with their entire Playstation lineup (excluding Vita currently).

A happy week for the Wii U then. PS4 has stock issues as retailers are getting ready for new models, XBone never had a chance in Japan, and the Wii U's main direct competitor, the PS3, is just too old. Its other main competitor, the Xbox 360, never had a chance in Japan either.

Oh I know the factors that play into the why- I mean, there's always a reason, including reasons the Wii U isn't selling too, but still, be that as it may it's crazy to consider all the same.

I wouldn't go so far as to say it's a good week for Wii U though.

The ps4 sales could be down in anticipation for ps4 slim, which I don't know why cause if you've seen the system, it's a very ugly update and isn't really that much smaller than the ps4 already out. The sales will jump when Persona 5 is released.

I don't know why you'd consider the PS4 sales to be a strange case, especially when you've then listed the reasons right after. Sony have stopped shipments of the old model and replaced them with the Slim, which the stores obviously can't put out and sell yet.

Ah the Xbox One.

I seriously think they're only selling consoles to white people living in Japan. The PS4 numbers will no doubt jump again once the slim surfaces.

Interesting choice of words. How exactly is it "strange" that PS4 sales reach their all time low just before the new model, which is rumored to be revealed today, phases out the old one completely. PS4 stock has been a small issue worldwide for a while now.

This could be a big month in the US as well for 3DS with Yo-Kai 2 and DQVII coming out this month. If nothing else, I will be extremely happy this month.

Well if the NX is primarily a hand held console then it's no wonder Nintendo don't want to announce anything yet.

Has Splatoon ever had a week off the charts since its release? I can't remember one.

I could see the 3ds family of systems hitting 70 million in life time sales when all is said and done. I know that when NX is released 3ds will take a large hit but the little guy is still trucking along. I recently upgraded to the new 3ds and it a nice little system. Its too bad that this new 3ds model was not the system released in 2011. I bet nintendo would have sold a lot more if this version of the 3d was in the first 3ds.

I"m surprised the vita numbers are as high as they are, not sure if that's the norm or if it's primarily the market in Japan keeping it running (sounds like it may be that)
