I will buy any Star Wars game that comes to Switch.

I’m all for cloud gaming, as long as it’s only used for games that really cannot run on Switch. I wouldn’t want to live in a world where they’d take the easy way out instead of actually porting Doom/Doom Eternal, Witcher 3, etc...but for the even more
demanding games, which we’re gonna see more and more of as we get deeper into the PS5/XBox Series S/X generation, man, sign me up. I know they’re streaming and I’ll lose access to them eventually and all that, but man, I could buy like 8-10 cloud games with the amount of money it’d take just to buy one of the new consoles.

Doesn’t sound like I should expect much of that right now, though. Oh well. I tend to not like most games like that anyway. I’m more of a Nintendo/Nintendo-style/indie guy.

Stardew is a top 3 Switch game for me, and my most played by far. Haven’t touched it in a while, though. Maybe I’ll check out this 1.5 stuff soon. Man, what a fantastic game.

I will try any Star Wars game, and if it’s free, yeah, no reason not to check it out. But I don’t have high hopes.

Also, @dojmin-I don’t know man...SW Pinball is pretty great. On top of being a great pinball game, the presentation is fantastic. I’d recommend it to anyone who wants something Star Warsy. I’ve had more fun with it/it has done a better job of scratching that Star Wars itch than any of the SW games I have for XB1.

The more Ace Attorney and Star Wars games they show, the happier I’ll be.

I will buy any Star Wars game that comes to Switch. I have this one on my XB1. I’ve only played a little, but it seems cool. I’d be down for playing more Switch. What I really want is some more of the old Nintendo Star Wars games, though. Super Star Wars trilogy, Shadows of the Empire, Rogue Squadron trilogy (and Battle for Naboo)...those are the games I REALLY care about. Oh, and unrelated to Nintendo, bring KOTOR over already. But yeah, this would be a welcome addition too.

@Sourcecode Hey, just speaking up for the sequel lovers! I have no intention of getting into it beyond that. I stopped having fun talking about Star Wars with strangers on the internet a long time ago.

I don’t care about any of these myself, but the fact that Sims isn’t on Switch is one of the stupidest things in gaming today.

Man...I don’t get this genre at all. Not one game on that list that is even remotely appealing to me. Still, I always appreciate a good “best of” list from Nintendo Life!

Yeah, I’m one of the 3.2 million. This game is...fine? I guess. Not too fun, really, but a decent enough thing to play with other people who aren’t really big gamers during the pandemic. Personally I’d rather just stick to Jackbox for that, though.

I’m not the kind of guy who cares, I’m totally fine with digital...but this is obviously going to get a physical release someday.

I am not anti-cloud gaming at all, but once again, I couldn’t be less interested in the game being offered. Maybe something appealing will be put up one day.

I’m glad it’s doing well and I’m glad so many people who wanted it are getting it, but man, I’m missing something with this game. I bought it for PS3 as a gamer who loves the movie and the comics, and I just thought it was boring. I wish I liked it, it’d be fun to get in on this excitement. Oh well.

Well, I guess I’ll finally get the Contra collection.

@Elvie The way Lucas was supposedly treated/misled does seem kinda questionable...but eh, who knows what really happened/was said. All I know is, there has been a ridiculous amount of what is in my opinion very solid content ever since Disney bought Star Wars, and it’s only gonna get better. I’ll take Rebels,
Mandalorian, 5 films, a bunch of great books/comics, Fallen Order, Squadrons, and I guess Galaxy’s Edge even though it isn’t really my thing, not to mention all the other announced stuff over whatever the heck we got between Revenge of the Sith and the Disney purchase. Clone Wars (which is great) and what, Angry Birds Star Wars? I know it was a bit more than that...but man, nothing like this. I couldn’t be happier with the Disney era so far.

Hey, if it means more Star Wars games on Switch, they can call themselves whatever they want.

I loved this game. Prefer it to 3DW. The smaller levels are great for this style.

All the remaining Ace Attorney games, a bunch of old Star Wars games and the Metroid Prime trilogy and I’ll be happy!

@Retro_Player_77 What about all the people who complain that all the NSMB games are the same, though? You run into that problem too. At least Run is different.

Actually sounds a bit better than I expected. May be more of a “pick it up on sale” game than a “skip it” game, like I assumed it would be.

I really want this game to be good, but I have a feeling it won’t be. Man, I hope I’m wrong.

Origami King and Hades are both excellent. Hard for me to choose between the two. I had fun with other stuff, but nothing else is really in contention for me.

If I have to choose one, I’m going OK.

As a big fan of Doom 2016 (which surprised me-I’m not much of a shooter guy), I was pretty pumped to play this, and I was planning on getting it on Switch...but then I tried it on Gamepass. I stopped playing before I even beat the first level. I could already tell I wouldn’t like it. Oh well. Hope it’s a good port and that everybody who gets it has fun with it!

@Munchlax Extension cords for the NES Classic are pretty cheap and work really well.
Make for a much nicer experience.

Maybe I missed something...but did I just go through a top 50 list that didn’t include one game from the Super Star Wars trilogy?

@Yrreiht As I said above, Crayola Scoot is pretty decent. Which is not necessarily me saying you absolutely should buy it, but you could do much worse for a few bucks.

Crayola Scoot is pretty decent, actually. I’d recommend it to anybody looking to scratch that Tony Hawk itch on Switch, especially at that price.

I haven’t played the others, nor do I care to.

@0blivion Dalton is my favorite. Brosnan is fun. I hate Craig’s films. Not crazy about him in the role, but it’s more just that the films are boring and no fun.

@0blivion I am aware, but man...those aren’t Bond films as far as I’m concerned. They stopped being enjoyable and special for me after DAD.

Ace Attorney has been one of my favorite series since the DS. I really hope more games (new and old) are coming to Switch. The original trilogy is the best, but man, I love them all.

Somebody from Nintendo Life should just play Florence, by the way. It takes like 45 minutes. Absolutely belongs on this list.

I have absolutely no interest in either. I bought a PS3 because I wanted a 3D Blu-ray player and an XB1 because I wanted a 4K Blu-ray player. I’ve barely played any games on either. I’m just a Nintendo guy. Switch and my other Nintendo consoles is enough for me.

This is my favorite game on Switch. Didn’t really expect that going in, as prior to Three Houses I had only played a few hours of the first GBA game and a bit of the Awakening demo and neither really clicked with me. But man, I loved this game.

I loved this game.

I don’t normally complain about price, and I don’t normally care about online gaming, but the only way I’d consider paying $40 for this is if I could play online with my buddy I played the original Bubble Bobble with as a kid. I don’t doubt that it’s worth it, I’m sure it’s a great game...it’s just not what I personally need it to be. Nice update, though!

I’m all for cloud gaming on Switch if it’s only used for games that would be very difficult to port (which is sure to happen more and more as PS and XB head into the next generation). But I have no interest in Control. Too bad, I’d love to support this.
