Re: Review: Sports Story - A Long-Awaited Sequel That's Sadly Not Up To Par

@msvt I contacted Nintendo through their (very convenient) text message customer support, and very nicely said that I've never done this before, but I'm requesting a refund because this game is clearly unfinished and gave a few quick examples. Pointed out that I buy a ton of games. They said their policy is to not give refunds but they'd pass my request on to another team. I got an email within about 4 minutes saying it was approved, ha.

Re: DC's Justice League: Cosmic Chaos Flies Onto Switch Next Year

@EaglyTheKawaiiShika I have a young kid who loves DC superheroes and is just starting to get into video games. I know enough to know that this isn't exactly a Nintendo-quality game, but I also know how much of a kick he'd get out of it. That's what matters.

Having said that, this is definitely more of a "borrow it from the library" game than something I'll actually pay for.

@Mdhoover you also have to consider that things are being rated for what they are, it’s not always one game vs. another. If you want an Atari collection, this is a darn good one. If you want a modern action/adventure game, this one has issues. Sonic is not as good at being what it wants to be as the Atari collection is. Simple as that. Some people still may prefer/have more interest in/be more impressed by Sonic and that’s fine.

Re: Poll: Is The Nintendo Switch Online Expansion Pack Good Enough Value Yet?

Add an option to pay a few bucks each to own games that are on the service and I’m cool with it. I like having access to everything they give us-fun trying out games I’ve never played before and all that, and I don’t think the price is too bad, but I’d really like to know that I’ll have my favorite games after the service ends-especially since they sold us these expensive controllers that don’t really have any other use.

Re: Mutant Mudds Dev Announces New "Casual Online Party Game" For Switch, Supports Up To 13 Players

@Andy_Witmyer No. The game is ridiculously late, the reason that it is late is that he decided to make changes to the game that nobody wanted or expected when they funded it, and their communication has been horrible. They have plenty of money to get backers the game they paid for, they’ve had plenty of time to make it, and every time they show that they’ve been working on something else, it’s incredibly frustrating and disrespectful.

Jools came off as being a very likable dude when the Switch first came out (and presumably before that, though I wasn’t really aware of him). He interacted with fans on social media, he made appearances on podcasts, he really just seemed like a dude who likes/makes simple retro-style games and is kinda one of us-just a dude who loves playing and talking about games. Also seemed like he was a little down on his luck with the timing of Chicken Wiggle coming to the 3DS. I supported him despite never loving any of his games. He has now completely lost me as a fan. He’s a scammer and a crook and he doesn’t care about the most loyal of his supporters. I’ll be giving that trash away as soon as the code pops up in my inbox.

Re: Yes, Hogwarts Legacy Really Is Coming To The Nintendo Switch

Definitely getting this game. My options are Switch or XB1…personally, I’ll choose Switch every time, unless it’s a cloud version (which doesn’t seem to be the case here) or actually broken/unplayable. I don’t really care about graphics or performance, I just prefer playing on Switch. I was totally shocked to see it’s coming-I had already preordered an XB1 copy…never really occurred to me I’d have an option. We shall see!
