Re: Head of Sonic Team Explains Why Dr. Robotnik Started Going by "Eggman"

Knuckles

@Hinaru77 Yeah, that is true in the comics, but the comics have their own canon.

For the games, he was always Dr. Robotnik, and then in Sonic Adventure, the nickname Eggman sticks, becoming Dr. Ivo "Eggman" Robotnik. If the comics were to be believed, then his original name is Julian Kintobor. But that was never mentioned once in a single Sonic game.

Edit When I say always in the games, I meant the English Games.

@HeCaster101 Again, source and or proof? Uploading the Subspace cutscenes to YouTube isn't leaking the cutscenes. Because of Brawl's being uploaded to YouTube, and it was quoted in an interview, Sakurai decided against putting cutscenes in Smash 4.

The way you are taking about it sounds as if they were planned and in development, then someone uploaded the early cutscenes to Smash 4 on the internet, causing them to be removed.

@HeCaster101 Can you provide proof of a story mode in Smash 4 to begin with? Because Sakurai stated at around 2 years before Smash 4 came out that there would not be cutscenes in Smash 4, due to the Subspace Embassary Cutscenes being put on the internet. And as for a story mode, or even an Adventure Mode, using the mode name from Melee and Brawl, this is the first I have heard of one being in Smash 4.

Re: Super Smash Bros. 1.1.6 Patch Is Landing Soon On Wii U And 3DS

@AlexSora89 There is nothing else to really tell. You first need to make sure your computer can fat32 format the SD card, which is done by inserting the card into the computer and right clicking on it. Then you format it, copy (or cut, your choice) the content from your other SD card to the newly fat32 formatted SD card.

Re: Sega Wanted To Work With Capcom And Bandai Namco On Virtual Console Releases

@Samurai_Goroh There were some games, like Aladdin and Sparkster for instance, that were completely different games on each console. I don't know if its what SEGA was talking about for these negotiations, but it was not like today where you can buy the same game on a different console and maybe get a different pack of DLC. There was the chance you could get an entirely different game.

Re: Feature: How One Man Saved Kyoto - And Video Games - From The Atomic Bomb

@Yalaa That actually raises a good debate about the second bomb. Being dropped on Nagasaki. Did the US give Japan enough time to come together and agree to surrender before we dropped Fat Man on Japan? Its been awhile, but I think we gave them 3 days before we bombed Nagasaki, and that was only after the first two targets of Fat Man were called off in the middle of delivery because of weather and not having the visibility needed to bomb those cities. Nagasaki was the 3rd target partially because of weather, and partially because the US had already bombed most of the cities they had planned on bombing.

Back to the 3 Days though, we don't know if we gave the Japanese enough time to meet to agree to surrender. Hindsight is 20/20 though.

Edit: What I mean by meet is actually get together, talk and agree to surrender. It would take some time for a few of the men at that meeting to get to where it is held. Again, it has been a while, sorry for using specifics instead of exact details.
