Re: Super Smash Bros. Is Getting A Massive Update On July 31st

@night About time someone said this.
But then again, you have to realize that some of these people have been waiting and hoping for YEARS for these characters to get in Smash. How would you feel if, say, you're the biggest... Kirby fan in the world, and you really wanted Waddle Dee or someone to be in the game. You'd be really disappointed that he wasn't in, and you'd be even more disappointed that he got in as a Mii costume, for example. I think the people who are complaining about characters for Smash are really going over kill on their complaining, though.

In all honesty, I really don't like Nintendo's modern approach to gaming. It's... too simple, like what the article says. Simplicity just doesn't engage me. I've actually sold a lot of Nintendo games on my Wii U for this reason, and I hate selling games.

@CreativeWelshman That list for Nintendo is really long... you're expecting way too much from Nintendo. Also... Super Mario Galaxy 2 isn't really a game that broke the mold at all. And I'm not sure if ANYONE would want a sequel to NSMBU... I'm pretty sure everyone's tired of Mario at this point.

My first Kirby title was KDL, but unfortunately that game didn't leave a very big impression on me, neither did Squeak Squad or Super Star Ultra, my next two Kirby games (SSU is actually one of my least favorite games of all time). Once I played KDL3, K64, and some of the recent Kirby games, though, I became a giant Kirby fan, and Kirby is now my favorite Nintendo franchise. I own all of the games except for Tilt n Tumble.

Re: Video: This Is The 3D Sonic Game We All Truly Want, But May Never Have

I think the next Sonic game should be a strictly 2D platformer for consoles with light inspiration from the Classic titles. Just a new 2D Sonic game that has new things like the Sonic Advance and Sonic Rush series, but I don't want it to be obviously inspired by the old Sonic games. Sega seems to have the most success with the 2D Sonic games.
