Re: Ubisoft's Summer Blow Out Sale Is In Full Swing On Switch eShop (North America)

Really? I didn't know that. I never went back to Legends after the game required me to literally rotate my WiiU game pad while playing those horrendously designed Murphy levels requiring the equally horrendous motion controls.

It left such a sour taste in my mouth, I dont even want to play my free copy on PS4, where motion controls aren't a concern.

Motion controls need to be an option from here on out, I refuse to buy a game that forces them.

True, but no analog triggers kinda hurts it for me.

However, the main reason I'm skipping Trials on Switch, no matter how cheap it gets, is that I don't want to destroy my Switch.

I use my Switch exclusively as a handheld, and the last thing I want is to be tempted to throw it, or squeeze it so hard I snap the joy-cons off the side. Though truth be told, its also why I just stopped playing Trials after Evolution.

I will no longer allow games to frustrate me to the point I go crazy. 🤪😆

Unfortunately, I can't accurately answer your question. I gave up waiting on the fixes and updates. I do still own the game, but I've honestly had no desire to go back and find out.

I believe the last time I looked at it, was probably right after the last big patch, and I dont recall it being much of an improvement. Considering we have games like BotW, Witcher 3, etc. on Switch, there is no excuse for what we were given.

I have the superior version on GamePass, but at this point, i just don't even want to be bothered with playing the game. I'm honestly not sure if I'll ever buy a game from Iga and his team again, just out of principle.

Re: Rumour: Is A Tomb Raider Collection Coming To Nintendo Switch?

If this is Crystal Dynamics first reboot (Legend/Anniversary/Underworld), I will be ecstatic!

If this also includes The two isometric Lara Croft games (LC and the Guardian of Light/LC and the Temple of Osiris), I will be over the freaking moon in excitement!

I've been asking for all 5 of these since the launch of the Switch!

Yeah, game pass is super helpful. I hadn’t even turned my XB1 on in a couple years until I tried GamePass.

Unfortunately I had already purchased most games I was interested in, but it definitely helps me on games I would normally be iffy on or just flat out ignore.

Case in point...Slay the Spire.
I’ve heard nothing but praise for it, but just didn’t want to take a chance on it. Then I tried it on GamePass, fell in love with it, and bought it on Switch as soon as I could.

Now I’ll be getting it on mobile when it releases later this month. Good bye productivity. lol

I’m going to be 39 in September, and I agree, they certainly do. I’ve mostly grown tired of all the swords and sorcery type stuff in my music, it’s passé and overused. Huge fan of Dio, but he was big on it.

A lot of the bands I listen to now have far more meaningful lyrics. I get it’s not easy to write lyrics to music, I’ve tried, and it’s super easy to fall back on the metal tropes.

“I can't stand Hip Hop/Rap if I was being totally honest, call me old but it's just a racket that subjects both eardrums to the worst audio torture imaginable.”

Fixed that for you. 😉

I will say I have outgrown a lot of the cringey Metal. I still have a soft spot for it, but I need to be in the mood. Oh, and a lot of today’s so called metal with the guttural/death vocals, yeah, not a fan. I still need melody and good singing in my metal, as I’m more of an old school metal head.

Re: Feature: Best Nintendo Switch Golf Games

I didn’t think the Switch even had enough golf related games to write an article about. The only ones I have are Infinite MiniGolf which is great, and Golf Story, which I still have never tried yet.

Good to hear. I would have picked up the Borderlands collection if it released a couple of years ago on Switch. I’ve played it so much I don’t think I ever want to play it again. I got severe burnout on it. Ha

Right now I’m really looking into X-Com 2. I already own it on PS4, but never got far into it. Hopefully all the 2K releases Look and perform well.

It’s still a lousy move 2K pulled with the physical editions though. They should have just made them digital only as the carts are useless.
