Thanks for the reply, I look forward to trying this out. I’m a sucker for mini golf games, particularly since all my local mini golf centers closed down years ago. 😞
I’m always up for a good mini-golf game, hopefully it turns out to be a good one.
While I know it’s an Xbox exclusive, I would still love to see Powerstar Golf on Switch. It was a great golf game and I’m bummed Microsoft never did anything else with it this entire generation.
EDIT:
Dang! I just googled the developer of Powerstar Golf, it turns out they went defunct in 2017. 😞
I’d love Blur on Switch! It’s basically the love child of Mario Kart and Burnout, and it’s a shame Activision shut the studio down before they were able to release a sequel. I still can’t fathom how the game didn’t sell well.
I absolutely love Burnout Paradise, and I’ve wanted this game on Switch since the console launched, but that’s an absurd price for a game that’s barely remastered. I bought it for under $20 on PS4, and any visual improvements are barely noticeable.
Of course, if people don’t buy it then EA will say...”see, we told you gamers didn’t want our back catalog on Switch!” 🤦♂️😡
I’m not usually one to hate on a popular game just because it’s popular, but I am really sick of seeing CoD as the top game every year. Even on it’s bad years, which for me has been since MW2. 🤷♂️
Yeah, I’m ok with that as well. I have a 3+ GB download for the Witcher 3 on Switch, so for an update I’m ok with it.
I’m not ok with publishers putting the majority of a physical edition copy as a digital download though. At this point, if the entire game isn’t going to be on the cart, minus the standard day 1 patch, then don’t even release a physical copy.
While commendable of Virtuos, I don’t think it’ll be possible. Maybe at first, but it won’t be long into the next generation where the downgrades Switch ports will be too much of a downgrade for many.
Hopefully Nintendo is working on a Switch 2. Is love to see two sky’s as well, similar to the XB1 and XB1X. I know it won’t happen, but I’m pretty sure lots of people would pay extra for the higher tiered model.
No Man’s Sky developer Hello Games is bringing...aww man...
I got surprised for a second thinking NMS was Switchbound. I don’t know how it would run or if it could, but I guess it doesn’t matter now. This looks interesting though.
I haven’t finished LoS 2 yet, I will soon now that it’s BC on my XB1. I didn’t necessarily mean a continuation of LoS, I meant more the gameplay style of it. It was a really well done game, at least the first one anyway. I had some minor issues with MoF, and I’ve only heard a lot of negative stuff about LoS 2, so I shall soon see.
While I would love the Ori sequel on Switch, I’m not holding my breath. One day maybe, but highly doubtful this close to launch. Besides, I heard it ran poorly on the base XB1 and XBSAD. Yes, Ori supposedly was being fixed by a day one patch, but that’s not exactly looking good for a Switch port this soon, if at all.
There are a lot of Metroidvania games I see in the works, I’d love to see them on Switch. I can never get enough of a good Metroidvania game.
I’d love announcements on the following, in no particular order.

I’d be willing to give it a try, but at $60 I feel I wouldn’t stick with it. Maybe when it becomes a Nintendo Select priced game I’ll bite.
I’ve bought a bunch of games with level creators before, like the old FarCry games, Little Big Planet, Mod Nation Racers, and a bunch of the Trials games. It all comes down to how good the community is, and it was always hit or miss on those.
I will say that Mario Maker looks far simpler to create good levels in comparison to the ones I’ve mentioned. I’m not one to make levels myself, I just look for levels made by others.
I get why people love these types of games, but they’re usually something I play for a bit and never go back to.
I forgot that was a thing in the Switch release, but I’ve grown a bit tired of side scrolling Mario games. Nintendo overdid the whole New Super Mario Bros. thing and it put me on a side scrolling Mario Bros. hiatus.
Plus, most of the fan made levels seem to be made for masochists, not really my thing.
I dabbled in the NES games, but I wasn’t a kid who played games in the 80’s, I was always outside. My first real go at the series was the N64 Castlevania, while I enjoyed it, I know it’s pretty much universally hated.
I was fully sucked in with the GBA Castlevania games.
All that said, the first LoS is my favorite in the series. The story was epic, and heart wrenching. Gabriel got screwed over so bad, and I felt bad for him. I thought LoS Mirror of Fate was ok, but not as good as the GBA games. I never did finish, or barely start LoS 2. It was just added to Xbox Games with Gold so I’ll give it a go now since it means I don’t have to dig out my PS3 for my original copy.
I second an Igavania collection on Switch, I want all the GBA games ported ASAP.
I’d also love to see Lords of Shadow ported to Switch, I loved every minute of the game, haters be damned. I’d even take the sequel and 3DS game, although I agree those two had issues.
Was it available on Android? For some reason I recall it as being only on iOS. Sadly I don’t think I can play it anymore either. My current iPhone and iPad will no longer play it. I may have an older iPhone that will run it though.
Back when it released on mobile I was rooting for a Vita port. It’d be awesome to see it on Switch. I can’t see it being that costly to port, maybe even add a bunch of new content?
This looks right up my alley, and I love the 80’s aesthetic and music.
I’m just trying to figure out if the counter in the bottom left is a timer or speedometer. I’m going to go with a timer since games like this usual have a race against the clock mechanic. Time limits is something I generally despise in games and real life, but I sometimes make the rare exception for a game if the character movement is fun.
Since I highly doubt I’ll ever get a Mirrors Edge game on Switch, even the excellent mobile game, this may have to do.
That was more entertaining than the game itself. haha
I loved it!
Don’t get me wrong, Dead Cells is great, but the trailer was awesome.
I actual felt for the little mushroom kid and his father, I was rooting for them. Also, I want a pair of pan-chucks! Time to submit the idea to YouTube’s Man at Arms.
Even if both your conditions were possible, you’d likely have a long line to wait in. No thanks. Flying has enough lines, but I can see the appeal for those wanting to try the system.

Custom buttons?!? Thank you!
I can’t stand the A & B button usage swap on Nintendo consoles.
Also, the moving data from the system memory to the SD Card is a huge plus. Even if it should have been an option at launch.

Assassins Creed Syndicate, Evie, one of the two main character choices. She just kicks major but. 😁

I agree, it’s as bad as trying to find a game on a mobile App Store, except those stores at least have much better search functionality.

The only thing on your list is chance is that it’s old.
It’s still my favorite racing game ever, followed closely by Blur.

Re: Nintendo Announces 'Up To 80% Off' Switch Sale, More Than 300 Games To Be Discounted (Europe)

Yep, and about 80% of those 80% games on sale aren't worth it due to being bombarded with cheap shovel ware/mobile ports.
Re: The Outer Worlds Gets A New Switch Release Date And A Day-One Patch
@mike_intv
Ouch! That’s a lot! Right now my largest games are Doom and Wolfenstein 2, sitting at around 20-22gb each. Next is South Park: TFBH at around 18-20gb.

Re: Super Mario 35th Anniversary Rumours Intensify
I’d love a port of Paper Mario: TTYD since I stupidly traded it in when I was younger. It’s absurdly priced now.
I still wish Nintendo saved AlphaDream by buying the studio, because I adored all the Mario & Luigi RPG’s they made and want more of them.

Re: Rumour: Sony Could Be Raiding Konami For Castlevania, Metal Gear And Silent Hill IP
Sony can have all of Konami’s IP’s, but I’d rather see Castlevania go to Nintendo. At least in its classic Metroidvania style.
The only way I’d prefer Sony to take the reins is if they didn’t make the series a PlayStation exclusive.
Plus, I feel as though Sony would be able to iterate on the excellent Castlevania: Lords of Shadow (1st game).
Ooh, I can just imagine a Sony Santa Monica (God of War) developed Castlevania. 😍

As long as its made by Nintendo. The LEGO games are far too simplistic and rote for my liking. I did enjoy the Marvel LEGO game, but only for so long.

I was eying that game, but for some reason I thought it was a side scrolling beat’m up. (Hmm, never typed that word before, but it looks wrong. ha)
I do like how it uses the UbiArt engine. I wish Ubisoft would use it for more games because it’s absolutely stunning.

I have no interest in Mario Maker, but I would 100% buy a Captain Toad Maker! I’d also love a Mario Kart Maker.

I’m definitely watching this, I love puzzle games.
I know it was a Sony game from Japan Studio, but I’d love Echocrome on Switch. I don’t use my Vita much these days, and it was a great game.
