Wasn't an Switch 2 version of Tekken 8 leaked months ago in GameStop files or something along with Red Dead Redemption 2?

I'm pretty sure Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade is also expected to launch on Switch 2 this year as well. Idk why the article doesn't mention that.

It's always hilarious to see people act like Nate is some random dude on YouTube looking for fame. Dude was literally the only guy that was right on the reveal date of Switch 2 and has pretty much gotten every Nintendo Direct date right lol.

@DarkTron So what happens if he's right about an Nintendo Direct happening next week just like he's been right in the past? You're talking about an guy that was the only one to claim that their wouldn't be an Direct in February.

@Pillowpants Tbh, Nate has always been right when comes to the timing of Nintendo Directs. He's pretty much one of the only people with an great track record.

The best way to celebrate this achievement is with an Nintendo Direct that continues the hype and success of the system.

@Galaxy2IsTheGOAT I would definitely play The Blazing Blade first to get a good understanding of whether this series might be for you. Afterwards I would try Scared Stones or pick up Three Houses which might have one of the best stories & cast in the series so far. If you're more of an gameplay person I would say pick up Engage but just know that the story and characters aren't great.

It's honestly hard to be excited for the Switch 2 at the moment but hopefully things get somewhat better over here.

@VoidofLight I honestly can't remember the last time I even went out to pre-order a system tbh. I still haven't gotten a PS5 and I'm not sure whether pre-orders in store have changed or not lol. Do game stores still have large crowds for pre-orders or has the number decreased?

@Onosume I'm definitely trying to be in line once the doors open for pre-orders. I feel like a lot of people will have so much trouble pre-ordering online especially if you can't go in store.

@VoidofLight That's awful. I hope you can manage to get one before launch because that's no fun not being able to pre order one because of scalpers.

Honestly, as long as I'm able to pre-order in person without any problems that's good for me. I just hope bots and scalpers don't ruin people from being able to pre-order in stores.

@PikaPhantom True but mostly every franchise on the Switch has had 3 or 4 mainline titles on the Switch besides Arms and Animal Crossing.

It's pretty crazy that we got all 4 Xenoblade games on the Switch first before the Metroid Prime Trilogy. At this point I feel like Metroid and Fire Emblem are the only major franchises that doesn't have 2 or 3 mainline games on the Switch.

@darkswabber I'm pretty sure Nintendo Prime was saying the same thing too. Yeah I feel like most of these dudes are just throwing random dates around in hopes of being correct. Same people that kept doing the same thing with the Switch 2 reveal as well.

@romanista Sounds like you either didn't watch it or can't remember because it had Shin Megami Tensei V, Fire Emblem Warriors, Super Mario Odyssey, Xenoblade Chronicles 2, Arms, Splatoon 2 and Breath of the Wild.

@UltimateOtaku91 I mean the og switch presentation focused on games so why wouldn't this event do the same? You also have the Switch 2 experience event after which of course you need something game wise.

@UltimateOtaku91 After 8 months of literally not a single direct you really think Nintendo wouldn't go all in? It's pretty obvious that Nintendo is ready to release this system along with some first party games for the system.

It's obvious that Mario Kart 9, 3D Mario and Metroid Prime 4 will be shown. In terms of other Switch 2 games I could see Zelda BOTW/TOTK Port, Arms 2, Star Fox or the return of some forgotten IP. I do think SF6, Tekken 8, FF7 Remake, P3R and Elden Ring are possible. As for Switch 1 games I think we could get Fire Emblem 4 Remake, Kirby Planet Robobot and Metroid Prime 2/3.

As long as Gamefreak and Pokemon Company continue to release slop that people rush to buy I'm sure they'll survive long enough to experience more and more years.

@Serpenterror Technically, Bandai Namco has released an mainline Tekken on Nintendo platform. Tekken 3D which was the enchanced version of 6 came to the 3DS.

I really hope Intelligent Systems learns from the reception of Fire Emblem Engage and Paper Mario Origami King going forward.

Konami is once again too lazy to when it comes to their games and rely on Limited Run to do everything for them.

It was okay, I personally didn't feel like we needed this much Mario in a single year and would of like to have gotten Metroid Prime 2/3. But at the end of the day I'm excited for Zelda, Dragon Quest and Metroid.

Sounds like it should of stayed on the shelves lol. I appreciate Nintendo for trying to remain strong, releasing games while working on the next system but they really need to start kicking things into high gear with better releases.

I really hope Nintendo never does this many Mario games ever again. Ever since last October it feels like every month is nothing but Mario with nothing much in terms of first party titles.

It's always nice to see Nintendo bring back forgotten franchises but this series is just not for me. I can't really see myself enjoying an game of just exploring underwater and nothing else. I'm sure there's a audience for these type of games though.

Not my cup of tea but hope everyone else enjoys their time with the game.

Eh, I'm happy for those that are excited about this game but nothing has impressed me so far. I'm not big on the whole gameplay switch up tbh and it feels like stuff that wouldn't interest me.

I'm honestly not that surprised with success of Palworld especially with the quality of Pokémon games these days. I think we reached the point now where people are looking for the next Pokémon or what developers can do with that idea in something completely different.

@Vexx234 I also don't think people are trying to buy an smaller release from Nintendo at $60 which is totally understandable as well. Another Code was pretty much something to fill the January calendar until next month when we get Mario vs Donkey and whatever is revealed in the next direct.

@larryisaman 2023 was crazy for the gaming industry so I think Nintendo wanted to go with something smaller. Instead of going the Fire Emblem Engage or Pokemon Legends Arceus route again with a big release they chose Another Code which makes sense with Tekken 8, Persona 3 Reload, Granblue Fantasy, and Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth around the corner.

Another Code isn't really an big release by Nintendo and I'm sure they weren't expecting big numbers for these games so it makes sense.

Pokemon fans need to set their sights on Gamefreak and Pokemon Company for releasing an cash grab game. These people will only come together out of jealousy because of other developers wanting to make an Pokemon like game of their own but not when something truly matters like broken Pokemon games pushed by Gamefreak.

Pretty much what I expected from these games tbh. Nintendo pretty much wanted the start the year off with something less stellar and something more decent or okay which is fine.

@duerer It's funny that you mention that Fire Emblem is not about seriousness/grim reality of war because that literally what Three Houses was lol. Engage was definitely more cringe worthy than Three Houses which took itself way more seriously than this game.

@gamingxaidan Yeah, Fire Emblem Engage had the best gameplay in the series but easily the worst story in the series.

And I'm sure it will run even worse than the base game lmao. Hopefully the next Pokémon game is leagues better then Scarlet and Violet because Switch was by far the worst for this series imo.
