It's always funny how people complain about their being so many Fire Emblem characters in Smash but beg for Waluigi to be added in which Mario has more characters in the game than Fire Emblem. Fire Emblem and Pokemon have the same even amount of characters in Smash.
I respect Furukawa for what he's saying but the big reason for Animal Crossing doing so well had to do with the pandemic not so much with it having a long lifespan.
It's really sad that the only franchises Nintendo cares about these days are Mario, Zelda, Kirby, Fire Emblem, Xenoblade, Pokémon, Splatoons and Animal Crossing. Nintendo is basically replacing some of their iconic franchises in favor of introducing new ones which is the opposite of what we want from them.
@Cikoltan Yeah I didn't have any high expectations for that Nintendo Direct but It was still disappointing. I guess the next Nintendo Direct might be better because for not having one for so long the return was underwhelming.
I hope people get the opportunity to purchase Super Mario 3D All Stars and Fire Emblem Shadow Dragon and the Blade of Light before it's over. I'm happy I was able to get both before Nintendo pulled the plug.
I wish Nintendo would focus more on some of their other franchises like F Zero, Kid Icarus, Metroid, Star Fox and Mother. It seems like all Nintendo knows these days is Mario, Zelda, Kirby, Pokémon, Fire Emblem, Splatoons and Animal Crossing.
I wish Nintendo would do a western localization for Genealogy of the Holy War or other unreleased Fire Emblem games. The Mother trilogy would be nice too.
Yeah I could definitely see Nintendo announcing a new Fire Emblem Echoes game for the Switch after the event. I thought the western release for Shadow Dragon and the Blade of Light was a nice treat. It kinda felt like Nintendo was trying to tell us that more is to come soon in terms of celebration of the franchise.
@Snatcher It's nice to see Atlus and Nintendo collab again but the chances of Royal coming to the Switch is still unlikely. Strikers is probably the closest we're going to get to seeing Persona 5 on the switch.
Finally!!!!! I've been waiting for this game to be released or talked about for a whole year and I was almost close to getting the Japanese version because I was starting to lose hope on it ever releasing in the western areas.
Really hoping Tokyo Game Show makes up for the disappointing gaming events that took place this summer. It would be nice to finally get an western release date for Persona 5 Scramble or Persona 4 Golden Switch announcement. Atlus might end up just showing more gameplay for 13 Sentinel or Shin Megami Tensei V instead.
Yeah it really gets annoying sometimes trading with people and their Pokemon are either "Machamps.com" or "Pokeflash" which I'm pretty sure are hacked Pokemon btw. It's nice to see them doing something about these people using fake Pokemon or trading you fake Pokemon.
An western release date was probably planned to be announced but got delayed because of the virus. Atlus might have it's best year next year with Persona 5 Scramble, Shin Megami Tensei 3 HD and Shin Megami Tensei V.
I still can't believe Atlus waste everyone's time at New Game + Expo last month to show gameplay footage of Catherine. I'm really hoping Atlus participates again this year at Tokyo Game Show with an announcement for Persona 5 Scramble localization.
@Broosh Personally the series ended for me when Ben 10 Ultimate Alien ended. I know Ben 10 Omniverse was the true conclusion for the original series but it was an disappointed compared to AF and UA.
@mousieone We already had Catherine Full Body announced for the Switch in the Mini direct I didn't need to see the game announced again or receive two more trailers for this game.
@mousieone Yeah I saw their 30 minute slot and immediately stopped watching as soon as Catherine gameplay started to begin lol. Why would anyone care to watch someone play Catherine Full Body on twitch when you can watch the same exact thing on YouTube. Atlus just came for snacks and nothing more.
@danemord Yeah I don't why Atlus would waste time talking about an game that came out last year on the PS4 which tons of people have played already. We honestly didn't need anymore trailers or info for this game.
Ribbon Girl and Twintelle were definitely better choices for Smash. I still can't believe Nintendo screwed up with making Spring Man an assist trophy and waited this long to add an Arms character.
I'm really excited to see what Sega/Atlus have planned for this event but I'm pretty sure we'll only get an western release for Scramble and gameplay for Catherine Full Body. I still hoping for an P4G PS4 and Switch announcement.
Eh, I wouldn't be too upset if Persona 4 Golden was only coming to PC. With Persona 5 Scramble Western Release getting announced this month it seems like Atlus is trying to find ways to please PS4, Switch and PC with some Persona content.
Not surprised. This happens every year. Remember last year when someone found files of Metroid Prime, Persona 5 and Legend of Zelda: Link In Time for Best Buy for Nintendo Switch 😂
@PickledKong64 Atlus West is only in charge of localized games that has been released in Japan recently. I doubt they would able to announce an Switch port for Persona 4 or Persona 5 Royal.

@Dewokkel When was it confirmed that FF XIII was being remastered? Is it coming to Switch or just PS4?
