@Farts_Ahoy good to know. I heard for Soul Hackers 2 issues from portals not rendering up to not being able to load saves and not being able to start the game.

Good to hear it’s working in Proton Experimental, so depending on when I get to it I can use that, or it might get Verified soon enough.

I’m getting wonderfully and hopelessly distracted in Yakuza 0, and also some JoJo All Star Battle.

A couple of my older consoles (Wii/GCN & PS3/2) have gone in the loft since my Steam Deck arrived. It’s really capable and I’m happy emulating stuff I own already rather than the Nintendo model of re buying rereleases when we are blessed with them.

I gave JoJo another try this year partly because of this game announcement. The first time the first series didn’t gel with me. This time I love it, I’m halfway through Diamond Is Unbreakable.

I’ve been playing the ps3 game so the lack of a physical version in the U.K. has put me off getting it at launch, I might wait for a sale and decide between Switch and Steam Deck for grabbing digitally.

I’ve just beaten Xenoblade 3 and it was fantastic. I’m on holiday until Monday so not much time to start something properly and perhaps a little break with smaller things before diving into another epic JRPG is a good idea.

So I might mess with some Streets Of Rage 4, or classics like Mario Kart and Smash.

I’ve finally after 2 weeks beaten chapter 4 of Xenoblade 3. This game is massive.

I’d like to give the benefit of the doubt that they want to move on from 6 and improve on it in the new style. But it really does feel too soon.

I’ve messed with a few Pokémon games, but I don’t play them for the story.

Xenoblade 3 for me. I’ve been on chapter 4 all week. It seems as long as the first 3 put together.

I’m starting to care more about the characters as things are beginning to happen.

I’m very sad about this.

I’ve just started chapter 4 of Xenoblade 3, 25 hours in and loving it so far.

My Steam Deck has just arrived though so I’ll also be setting that up this weekend and might come back to Xenoblade on an upcoming vacation.

I have most of these. I’m waiting for a deeper discount on Shiren The Wanderer. Not fair really as I’m sure it’s worth the asking price but I’m not tempted yet.

Xenoblade 3 has arrived but I recently played Torna to get hyped but it made me want a change of pace before diving in to such a big adventure.

I re-started SMT Devil Survivor Overclocked this week so I’ll press on with that first, I feel bad that I already dropped it once when I was new to SMT and got stuck.

I really want it to be good. I’m currently playing SMT Devil Survivor Overclocked and it looks similar with its mix of VN and tactics gameplay. Apparently you also answer questions when you recruit Digimon. Sounds like SMT demon negotiation to me.

I’m trying to await reviews but if it comes back in stock I might get tempted.

I played Torna in anticipation, and now I need a little break. I want to be really hyped committing to 100 hours and not force it, maybe the reviews will get me there.

I am about halfway through AI The Somnium Files Nirvana Initiative, and it’s just as good as the first one so far.

I’d like to finish it in time for Xenoblade 3. I also played a little TMNT Shredder’s Revenge with my son this morning.

I’ve been finishing off the mandatory side quests on Torna ahead of Xenoblade 3’s release. I also introduced my son to Streets Of Rage 2 this morning.

I’m out tonight, but AI Somnium Files: Nirvana Initiative has arrived in the post.

I’ve already played Chaos;Child on Vita, but I’d like to play Chaos;Head. Maybe they’ll be separate on the eshop, like I think the Robotic;Notes games might have been.

I already have the Dancing All Night games, but Persona would be a great fit here too.

Shredders Revenge has had me playing Scott Pilgrim, Streets Of Rage 2 and other beat em up classics.

I want to play Torna before Xenoblade 3 comes out but Omori I’ve also just spotted and looks great. I should finally play Undertale from my backlog first though so it’ll probably be that or Torna.

I picked up the DS Monsters Joker games recently and I’ll keep my eye on this too.

It’s the 2D-HD DQ3 I’m anxiously awaiting though, it probably didn’t make sense to have it in the same Direct as Live-A-Live

A demo will really help on this one, it looks interesting but a demo might push to a purchase

This was one of my most wanted announcements for a while.

I’m getting a Steam Deck so I was going to pick it up there but I heard the port wasn’t great so I’ve got my fingers crossed It’s better on Switch.

Excellent finally, we saw it coming and these should do really well on Switch.

I might have my Steam Deck by then, so I’ll see how P5R pans out for performance on Switch. I played P5 on Playstation 3 so although it’s expanded to Royal, I’m not too worried.

I’m nearing the end of 13 Sentinels so I might beat that this weekend.

I played some TMNT Shredders Revenge with my boy this morning and we had so much fun in coop. I think we have a new fan, a shame none of the cartoons or films are streaming in the U.K.

This has tempted me to pick up Scott Pilgrim in the sale for 4 quid, and to mix the above together I might try Muramasa Rebirth on my Vita once I’ve finished 13 Sentinels.

I’m playing 13 Sentinels Aegis Rim which is such an amazing game. I think it will age really well and become a classic.

I did also impulse buy Shredders Revenge. The nostalgia got to me and it will be fun to play co-op with my lad and introduce him to the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

I’ll also be surprised if this isn’t being saved for the Nintendo Direct, Switch is a big market for these games going multi platform.

Maybe Soul Hackers 2 will get announced for Switch too.

I have downloaded this 3 times. Twice on Switch and once on mobile, but I still haven’t played it.

I’m now deep into Disco Elysium, it was worth the wait for the physical version especially given the performance improvements.

Kirby arrived yesterday, but for my sons birthday in a few weeks time.

It arrived yesterday for my sons birthday. He won’t let me ‘test’ it for him so we’ll be playing it in a few weeks time.

I had to double check my calendar and it’s not April 1 until next week.

I now have so many games the trick will be working out how to organise things.

My Steam Deck now has a launch title whenever ‘after Q2’comes.

This looks fantastic and I love how soon it is coming, but I do miss the 90s retro vibe of the first game, and I don’t see many connections to it or Devil Summinor, as yet anyway.

I’m usually more disciplined but alongside Caligula 2 and Pokemon Legends Arceus the Xenoblade 3 announcement has made me want to finally start on Xenoblade 2, so that might take over for now. I picked up the Torna DLC in the sale, so I need to play both before September.

I accidentally let my premium annual membership renew, I’m still sore about that as I’m usually more vigilant.

I played Soul Hackers on 3DS last year, I won’t get my hopes up but a sequel would be really appreciated.
Although, the best thing about it was it’s very 90s vibe.

I’ve been keeping up to date with the release but I was a little disappointed with what I tried of the demo. And reviews in Japan and now here seem mixed.

I’ve decided to play through Caligula 2 as my Persona staff related Fruyu fix first, which never got reviewed here I think but I’m really enjoying so far. I might pick this up down the line.

I love Platinum, I love shmups- but I’m underwhelmed.

@Quarth this is my comment too. I’ve only played v3 on Switch (others on Vita) and I’m not sensitive to performance usually, but the final trial was like a slideshow at times

Pokemon Legends Arceus, I’ve raced through the story after I spent ages in the first area so that I can have fun with the kids building the Pokédex with all the regions unlocked. I might delay finishing the story although I am towards the end.

As a result, I’ve just started Caligula 2, I hadn’t played the first and I haven’t got my head around the battle system yet with time based combos, but it seems just my niche so far.

I couldn’t wait and played Earthbound on my dusted off 3DS, it was amazing. Is Beginnings worth a go?

I was really hoping for a new entry, Genealogy remake or Radiant/Radiance collection.

I’m a bit done with the Warriors games so I’m disappointed and I don’t expect to be convinced but you never know.

With Pokemon, 13 Sentinels, AI Somnium Files NirvanA and physical Disco Elysium my first half of 2022 is pretty full already!

I’m glad I held off for my physical copy, now that the game has been optimised too.

Pokemon Legends for me too. I’m still in the first area it’s just too much fun getting distracted.

The kids are a bit young to get the hang of it but they are having fun running around too.

Even I came off the fence and I’ve only really dabbled with the series before. I’m glad it’s successful so the Legends series should now secure sequels. I wonder if they will stick with this template rigidly for 20+ years too?
