I was a moderate sw fan back in the day. Really appreciated both kotor games.
But ever since disney took over I started losing interest.

@basswitch I didn't say I wasn't gonna buy key cards at all. Just those games with must have status for me, like for example Persona 3 or Final Fantasy remakes.
No. I am not in the habit of buying digital games, altho I got a few like Valkyria Chronicles 1 and 4 - I own VC4 as card but it was cheaper to get the complete edition than buying the DLCs separately. I also own lots of virtual console games on wii. reminds me I should get the famicom detectives club game, they prolly wont be seeing a physical release

Why would I get rid of my Switch? I own over 100 switch 1 games, and the switch is not only BC but it also enhances some games if not all in some way. Nintendo is still releasing physical games and you cant get those games anywhere else anyway.

But yeah, I dont like the direction things are going atm, not just key cards but the gaming market in general. The switch 2 might as well be my last console. Thanks to the key card situation and the economy in general I am spending to way less on gaming these days. Not a huge issue if u own around 300 games spread across various nintendo systems.

@Jeronan let me ask you, if z-a was a pokemon clone, would it be a good pokemon clone? Pretty sure every pokemon fan would rip that game apart. The internet would be full of post with the games shortcomings etc. Legacy media, if they even reviewed it, would score it between 1 and 4.

Think this might be the most divisive pokemon game ever.
Not surprised nintendo wants palworld gone, if you compare palworld and z-a side by side, there simply is no comparison and/or excuse anymore.

I live in Europe and its been hard to lay my hands on a physical copy of hundred line. Some retailers seem to be getting it in stock and I will need to pay over 80eur, welp, but whatever...

Although, even judging by NLs score the online opinions arent just hate or something but rather valid opinions. Its not like anyone expected this game wouldnt sell or that the critisizm would have any effect whatsoever.

@somnambulance im not a pokemon player but from what I understand is, the game is aimed at kids first and foremost. And kids probably dont care as much about details as adults do.
From an adult perspective, I think these games are a bit of a cash grab. But then again, the only pokemon game I own is moon and that one came with my 2ds xl.

Never got into pokemon. The only game I own is Moon, it came with my 2ds xl. Played it for a bit, wouldnt say its bad but lost interest pretty quickly.
Overall I believe the pokemon games are a bit of a rip off, low effort and maximum profit - businesswise it makes sense, still tho.... Lol

@N00BiSH I never said that. Tbh while I ofc would prefer things to be cheaper rather than more expensive, I absolutely have no problem with spending a bit more.
If they released more expensive cardridge options for key card games I'm in!
I will also buy the galaxy pack and triple dip on galaxy 1 - for the collection. But I wouldnt say its a great deal.
So yeah, cant say that I am the stingy one.
But I absolutely get why the company is perceiced as greedy af and became way less likeable. The list is long... Lol.

Ngl, that number will decrease by a lot.
From now I will just buy the occasional.must have nintendo game and absolute must have key cards. I expect it to be around 4-6 games per year
