Re: It's Official, Red Dead Redemption Is Coming To Switch 2 This December

Jedrus_Lilac

@Sylamp I agree, the did release a few upgrades for free. ¯(ツ)
Look, I understand the general sentiment. Its nintendos property, they can price things any way they want. In fact they didnt need to upgrade anything. Or just rerelease at premium prices. ¯(ツ)/¯ with no backwards compatibility at all.
One person will be happy they got anything at all while another will perceive things as greedy/stingy. Both people have a right to exist and play games.

Re: Nintendo Teases A New Lego 'Legend Of Zelda' Set, Possibly Including Ganon

Jedrus_Lilac

Thats all nice but a proper wave would have been better.
If u look at the deku tree you get several links, one zelda. The new set will likely be expensive again and also come with at least one link and probably another zelda.
Animal crossing sets have been discounted alot and so far I have managed to get all sets except one.
Still on the fence about the deku tree, price drops havent been too great thus far.

Re: "These Shouldn't Be The Only Games Being Made" - Keiji Inafune Critical Of Reliance On Big IPs

Jedrus_Lilac

@Waluigi451 not really true. Tons of indie games have huge success. Also bigger games such as arc raiders atm, or numerous other games.
Imo its about the game and not the IP. Lots of AAA games are either just slop or rely too heavily on their IP. Concord needs no further comments on why it failed. Then there is a few ubi games that didnt reach the sales heights ubi had hoped for. Honorable mention the failguard.
Wukong or clair obscure were successes despite having no IP.

Re: Opinion: Third-Party Support For Switch 2 Is Already A Dream Come True

Jedrus_Lilac

Idk if its a dream come true but there is alr a handful of games I will cave in and buy the key card, welp
Probably the yakuza series, altho I havent made up my mind yet.
Definitely persona 3 and elden ring.
FF remakes as well.
Maybe monster hunter stories 3.
Other than that theres nothing that peaks my interest atm.
But I guess for people who have a broader interest in video games there is more variety out there.
I would like to see ninja gaiden 4 , wonder if uts possible on the switch

Re: Talking Point: When Did 'Good Enough' Become Good Enough For Pokémon?

Jedrus_Lilac

Its all about profit Nintendo knows it will sell very well even if the budget is low. And on top of that they know there will be tons of people defending their practice.

Whats not to like?

Seriously tho, I am seeing a lit of people posting how great the game is, some even say its the best pokemon ever. So in all fairness, maybe it is!? Maybe pokemon players simply arent demanding and the game could be even worse and still well received.

In the end we could argue pokemon fans got exactly what they deserve and were hoping for and are more than glad to pay for it.
