North America and Europe easy. While the Japanese cover focuses on the Mini-Mario, the other shows what the game is practically about and shows Mario going against DK.
@rjejr It'll more than likely can if the reports are true. It's whether Crystal Dynamics/Eidos Montreal/Embracer Group want to do the work and put funding on such ports.
@rjejr The survivor trilogy is not on Switch. The only other games we got Tomb Raider related is Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light and Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris as a collection.
So looking forward to this collection which includes the PC expansion packs. I'll buy it either way, but I hope Embracer Group/Crystal Dynamics give us a physical release.
I've managed to secure one. I've been waiting for them to restock these for a while. Last time they sold too quickly, so I'm happy to get one this time around.
I've been playing on my 3DS a lot recently, especially with the eShop closure. So, I'll be playing and hopefully finishing BoxBoy. Great little puzzle game from HAL.
@SwitchForce Seems like you're being a bit pedantic with some of those points. When they mentioned shelf space, it was regarding the games itself and not the hardware to play them on. Also, you can't call the eShop a store in the same sense as a store in real life. Finally, some digital stores have return policies such as Steam and GOG, it's just taking a while for console store fronts to provide the same or similar policies.
@AmplifyMJ Fair enough. Just to let you know, the licenses behind the soundtrack now are several. You've got some that are now tied to Sony as they own Michael's music, you've got Fervor Records who owns the catalogue to a new wave group called The Jetzons, they did a track called Hard Times that went unreleased until 2008/2009 when Fervor Records enquired The Jetzons music and on top of that. The Jetzons had a member called Brad Buxer who later worked with Michael and Sonic 3 and used Hard Times for IceCap Zone. On top of all that, there's the other contributing members of Michael's team, so this is why they did what they did.
@AmplifyMJ Look, I love Michael and his teams music (and of course Michael's actual music), but if they didn't do what they did, we'd probably never see this game re-released again. Too many licenses in the soundtrack.
@Dogorilla So even pass the 29th August, if you've got your accounts linked (Switch with 3DS/Wii U), you can still use your funds you've added via the Switch to purchase items?
The loading screens were always the issue no matter what platform you played these games on, even the PC albeit not taking as long. Still, that has never taken the experience away from me every time I play these games and are well worth a play. I will admit that the PC versions are the best way to play these (not talking about performance), as they have more to offer, especially with the community test chambers in Portal 2, but this is still a great way to experience the games once again, like I'm doing on the Switch. Well worth a purchase.
I honestly don't get why people are complaining about a Partner Direct. This is still something good as it's more games coming to the platform this year and possibly early next year. A full-on Nintendo Direct will probably happen soon, but until then, bring on this Partner Direct.
People only mentioning Whitehead when regarding to these "old" versions of Sonic 1, 2 & CD but people tend to forget that Simon Thomly AKA Stealth and who's currently leading Headcannon games.
@Banjo- The legal issue don't just lie with MJ but possibly Sony as I believe they own all of his music now, the other names that were credited and who were affiliated with MJ and since about 2008, Fervor Records. IceCap Zone as we know is essentially 16-bit Hard Times, but at the time of composing music for the game Hard Times went unreleased, that is until Fervor Records got the entire The Jetzons music catalogue and released their unreleased tracks.
@darkswabber Just to point out that Birth by Sleep was never on the PS2 and was initially a PSP exclusive until the 2.5 HD collection. Also, if that was also referring to Chain of Memories as a Japanese exclusive, that's not right either. Re:Chain of Memories saw a US release on the PS2 and later other places outside the US and Japan via the 1.5 HD collection. On top of that, it was initially the Final Mix versions that were exclusive to Japan until these collections came out initially on the PS3.
@Clyde_Radcliffe What rival console? He doesn't work at Nintendo. And did you miss the part when he talked about Xbox when Banjo and Kazooie got revealed?
@gb_nes_gamer I'm also eagerly waiting for Origins, but that's because SEGA have brought back Sonic 3. It's been a long while since we've had that game re-released.

Re: The Original Tomb Raider Trilogy Is Getting Remastered For Switch
@rjejr I can see Tomb Raider (2013) and Rise of the Tomb Raider running on Switch but not Shadow of the Tomb Raider without some work done on it.
Re: The Original Tomb Raider Trilogy Is Getting Remastered For Switch
@Antraxx777 You got a source for this. The games were made with those types of controls in mind and I couldn't imagine them without it.

@PlasmaticSnake I would love to hear him narrate about the time travelling dolphin and the flying dolphins xD
Re: A New Hellboy Game Has Been Announced For Nintendo Switch
Lance Riddick as Hellboy? Didn't he recently pass away. One of his last roles I take it. Also, is that also Jim Cummings I hear in the trailer?

Re: The Pokémon Company Makes Comic-Con International Debut Later This Month
Might want to fix the typo in the first paragraph saying 20th June. I thought I was missing something until I read 20th July down the page.
Re: Where To Pre-Order Detective Pikachu Returns On Switch
@Sisilly_G I just loved the fact it's Detective Pikachu with a bunch of Pokemon. Great box art for the game.
Re: Where To Pre-Order Detective Pikachu Returns On Switch
@IceClimbersMain What's wrong with box art?
Re: Mario + Rabbids Sparks Of Hope "Should Have Waited" For Switch Successor, Says Ubisoft CEO
@eaglebob345 You're right. They just let them do what they want to do, which is good.
Re: Mario + Rabbids Sparks Of Hope "Should Have Waited" For Switch Successor, Says Ubisoft CEO
@eaglebob345 They don't own Intelligent Systems or Game Freak, but they do co-own the Fire Emblem and Pokemon franchises.
Re: Random: Disney Animator Creates Stunning 30-Second Short Using 3DS eShop Apps
@WayneU Really love the animations, especially the witch one. Great work.
Re: Where To Buy Metroid Prime Remastered On Switch
Had to order it from Hit/Base as Shopto went out of stock. Not surprising going at that price.
Re: Game Boy And GBA Coming To Switch Online Today
@ralphdibny Don't think that'll be possible in this case, seeing that these two consoles are handheld devices.

@Angelic_Lapras_King Or just purchase it through Nintendo's website.

@BenAV To be honest, I don't even know much about these coupons.

@Kidfunkadelic83 I don't mind the eShop but it sure does.
Re: Nintendo Launches Huge Black Friday eShop Sale, Up To 75% Off Switch Games (UK)
@Kidfunkadelic83 Looking at Dekudeals, it seems the game has never been on sale.
Re: Nintendo Launches Huge Black Friday eShop Sale, Up To 75% Off Switch Games (UK)
Why is it that whenever a sale like this is up, Famicom Detective Club never seems to go on sale?
Re: Suda51: No More Heroes Could Return If There's "A Big Fan Outcry"
@Rika_Yoshitake When it comes to NMH I don't think we have to worry about the next installment missing a Nintendo platform.

@Maulbert You're right, but on the website for the Mega Drive Mini 2 or in this case the Genesis Mini 2, it says it's exclusive to Amazon.

Now give us the EU release date, SEGA.

No, Eevee? Isn't Eevee like the secondary Pokemon mascot?

@Specter_of-the_OLED I don't think anything was stated by SEGA for a Q1/Q2 release for Sonic Origins. All we got was a 2022 release year.

@Tzara Since many years? He was never an employee of Nintendo. He worked for HAL who are their own company and then formed his own with Sora.

Re: Memory Pak: My Nostalgic Sonic 2 Playthrough Was A Treasured Gaming Moment
@gb_nes_gamer Metropolis has to be one of my favourite Zones in Sonic 2. And I really love the music. Oil Ocean I can agree on.
