The UK chart results have come out, and unfortunately it's the fourth week in a row with no Nintendo titles in the top 40; we wrote a little about those woes recently. While that's a shame, there have been some interesting movements in the Nintendo-only charts.

Most notably The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask 3D rose from 15th place to take top-spot in the 3DS charts this week; a quick online search shows this was likely driven by heavy discounts at supermarkets like Tesco and Sainsbury's. It was available for around £20, which clearly got quite a few players off the fence. There were also modest jumps for Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate and Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon, though they were still down in 9th and 17th places respectively.

Unsurprisingly the retail version of Pokémon Rumble World had a modest reception; it's the re-fitted version of the free-to-play download and made its debut in 11th place in the 3DS-only chart. Boxed versions of previous download-only games rarely set the charts alight, with one of the better performers in memory being New Super Luigi U.

Meanwhile, despite being released nearly a year ago Majora's Mask 3D is just a discount away from being enjoyed by more 3DS owners.
