Splatoon, Mario Maker and XCX made 2015 worthwhile for the Wii U.

Merry Christmas! I've been blessed with Xenoblade Chronicles X, Splatoon along with PS4 Battlefront bundle, Watchdogs and Fallout 4.

NOE gets Mario RPG and Mario 64 DS along with a thank you holiday message from Shibata while NOA gives us Mario Galaxy and no holiday messages. So, what does all this mean? Simply put, RIDGE RACER!!!!!

I wonder what kind of game Shin'en would make if they have a bigger budget to work with.

Shibata seems like a awesome guy and cares about the business. Why can't we have him take over NOA and bring in new people to fix the problems.

Rogue squadron games are awesome! I still remember playing the asteroid field with the millennium falcon dodging tie fighters and asteroids. My favorite Star Wars game is KOTOR. I wish for a third KOTOR game but I don't think that's ever going to happen.

XCX 2 or something different is fine by me.

Xenoblade deserves more love and respect in all regions. Sadly, JRPG isn't as strong as it used to be. Everyone wants GTA, Sports and million FPS games that gets released every year with little to no changes.

My GOTY is Xenoblade Chronicles X. Monolith Soft knows how to make awesome JRPG games. They should assist Nintendo in getting the new Zelda game ready for next year. (No more delays!!!)

I rather have Undertale instead of Gone Home. The Wii U needs some indie gems!

I guess Minecraft on Wii U is going to utilize amiibo at some point in the future.

Sega has forgotten on how to make good games. I missed the days of genesis going head to head with the snes. They have a lot of great ip, but it seems like they're all buried and forgotten or milked to death with little to no quality.

The Wii U is going to be in the list of underrated consoles like GameCube, Dreamcast and Saturn.

Nintendo made the right decision to acquire Monolith Soft. They gained a key developer that can produce quality rpg games like xenoblade. I'm a big fan of Xenogears and I know I'm going to love XCX just as much.

I met Don Bluth along with Gary Goldman and John Pomeroy at Comic Con yesterday. It was amazing! They signed my Secret of Nimh, Land before Time, Anastasia, Titan AE and Treasure planet. I hope Dragon's lair movie becomes a reality since I grew up watching their movies.

Here's my top 5 on what I want to see from Nintendo for NX
1) Gather as much third party support as possible
2) Market the console right (I'm looking at you NOA)
3) Purchase new studios
4) Launch with awesome games
5) Don't use the wii name again...ever!

This is Hank Hill's worst nightmare come to life. Nothing's worst than grass left unmowed and lack of proper lawn care.

It's sad how Konami, Capcom and Sega were once powerhouse game developers in the 90's into jokes that they become today. I'll miss the days of contra, tmnt, mega man, good sonic games, castlevania etc.

It's a good thing I owned most of rare games on my n64 so I won't have to suffer.

I feel bad for the people who had to endure unfair treatment at Konami. It's obvious Konami has lost their way on how they became successful in the first place. It's no wonder they're losing key people because of their incompetence.

It's a good thing I skipped e3 altogether for nba finals. I had that feeling that I was going to be disappointed if I see what nintendo had in store for us.

I never liked amiibos from the beginning because I think it's another cheap gimmick for nintendo to make money. What nintendo should have been doing all along is make good games, and maximize their console to it's potential. I missed the days of Snes and Sega going at it in the 90's before Sony joined the party.

That's okay. I still got super mario strikers to satisfy my soccer needs.

I love the classic resident evil games and dino crisis! My favorite is resident evil remake for gamecube. I still get chills from Lisa and Neptune.

I'm thrilled that we're getting certain wii titles for eshop this month. Seeing metroid prime trilogy on the list just put a smile on my face. I'm glad I didn't shell out $100 for it. The only thing I was disappointed about this direct is no mentioning of mario maker, but I think we will hear more on the next direct. Also, give me Splatoon and Xenoblade right now lol!!

Looks like 2015 is shaping up to be the year for Wii U to deliver the goods. I want Xenoblade and Zelda but I'm also interested in Splatoon, Devil's Third, Mario Maker and Star Fox.

I enjoy playing pokemon stadium and win all the cups. The low level cups were tough! I like using starmie because of it's speed and versatility. Another great game is Pilotwings 64. I still remember playing the birdman stages.

2015 is going to be an epic year for Nintendo!!! I hope they have more surprises in store for next year.

I'll be glad if Sakurai retires from Smash Bros. and move on to other projects after taking a vacation.

I remember one time where my dad wanted to get me Superman 64 when it came out and I said no. One of the best decisions I ever made!

A new ZombiU game would be awesome! The first one was good during the launch of WiiU, which made great use of the gamepad. I want the sequel to be more intense and scary that you can't relax for a second! It would be nice if we can get Fatal Frame localized around the globe.

This year would have been a disaster if it weren't for games like mario kart 8, bayonetta 2, smash bros, hyrule warriors etc. Overall, I give Nintendo a C grade for finally releasing some of their heavy hitters for Wii U. The game drought didn't help out much and third party support is atrocious! VC support is mediocre on Wii U compared to Wii.
Nintendo needs more than first party games and indies to keep them in the game. Maybe acquiring another developer kinda like monolith soft purchase years ago could be a possibility?!

My top 3 favorite Zelda games: 1) Majora's Mask 2) Windwaker 3) Ocarina of Time
