Xenoblade Xstream

With Xenoblade Chronicles X set to launch in Japan on 29th April, Nintendo and developer Monolith Soft are stepping up promotional efforts for the RPG adventure. In recent days and weeks, for example, we've heard of the non-linear approach to progression in the game, indications that the world will be five times the size of that in the original Xenoblade Chronicles and that the project is so sizeable it almost needed more that one Wii U disc, with the media holding 25GB of data.

We're set to learn even more this week, as Nintendo is planning to host a video presentation in Japan that'll focus on the game's world. We're likely to be given a sense of that scale that has been previously mentioned, and will hopefully learn more about the eight diverse 'unions' that can be joined, with each influencing progression and the storyline; the world's unique creatures and environments are likely to be prominent.

It's all taking place on Friday 6th February at 10pm Japanese time, which is 5am Pacific / 8am Eastern / 1pm UK / 2pm CET. We'll be live streaming and blogging the event as it happens on Nintendo Life, as always.

Although the presentation is likely to be in untranslated Japanese, this could be well worth a watch for those excited about this Monolith Soft game. Will you be tuning in?
