@BlackKnight93 Not really sure what you're talking about. The "mass" is buying and playing Switch games. The games on this list sell a lot more than PS4 exclusives for example, even with half the user base.

Don't be fooled by the dudebro's playing the gazillionth iteration of Call of Duty and FIFA.

Super Mario Party sold 10+ million copies, but got forgotten by Nintendo the moment it released. It's completely barebones. Is it really that hard to create some additional boards with at least an ounce of charm and creativity...? I'd say those 10 million sales warrant it.

Still funny to see the Wii and Wii U on the opposite side of the chart. Nintendo really dropped the ball so hard on that console.

This is absolutely insane. Congrats Nintendo. I know this is partially to "blame" on the corona pandemic, but the game is truly wonderful and I believe it deserves to be this popular.

I haven't played any online match in Smash Ultimate, but Splatoon 2 is my single most played Switch game and I have never had much issues with that game. Same for MK8 Deluxe, Fortnite, Mario Tennis, ARMS and pretty much any other game with online modes.

I mean, this all sounds great... But I hope they increase the island size then (maybe add a second one to the left or right, connected with a bridge) since I've already planned and terraformed every inch and placing more buildings would be troublesome as it is...

It's my first Animal Crossing game, and honestly; I would have never thought about buying it if it wasn't for this whole corona crisis. It never seemed like my kind of game series.

I'm really, really, enjoying it though. Actually, I'm a bit obsessed with it at the moment. I've also checked some let's plays of previous games, and I feel like New Horizons is the only one that could have drawn me in, mostly because of the freedom in landscaping that seems to be new to the series.

Bought AC:NH the previous weekend, so I'm hoping to unlock terraforming this weekend and when I do, I'm going to invest even more time in the game than I already have.

Besides that, I also bought Yooka-Laylee and the Impossible Lair in the spring sale, which has been a blast so far. I usually play it whenever I have nothing left to do in Animal Crossing.

I hated it first, but from this overview trailer the game looks pretty... good actually. And fun too.

I'm confused. The game seemingly already matches me with other players when I play. Unless... they tried really hard to make those players seem like real people (by having a name database etc), which would be the epitome of lameness.

I quite liked the demo, but still on the fence since so many great titles are coming out at the moment.

I’ve spent multiple weekends with a few friends fighting our way through this game back in the day. Good memories, all the hassle of connecting GBA’s included.

I can’t bare to play this in singleplayer though... it’s definitely meant to be played with other people.

The subscription is finally worth it now they start adding more consoles.

This looks pretty bad in my opinion. It has the exact same rough/outdated style as Pokemon Sword and Shield, and the gameplay looks pretty bland and non emergent.

Fanboys at their best, only caring about what the competition does or doesn't do. Just buy a Switch, you salt bro's.

I didn't like the first chapter, but was soon blown away by what came afterwards. This game oozes quality, and is a blast to play. Can't wait to start playing again after work.

Day one, definitely.

I am honestly very disappointed with the quality of the Switch, considering Nintendo usually creates unbreakable, sturdy tech that last for years.

It definitely had a lot of issues and unpolished parts which resulted in me not finishing it, but I also had a lot of fun and nostalgic feelings while playing. The characters, worlds and music were really good.

@Ralizah It's only 100 cheaper, which doesn't add up if you notice how many core features they have removed from the original model. The Switch was perfectly fine as a handheld to begin with. I feel like they are undermining this great concept of a hybrid they have. The name also makes zero sense now.

Would have rather they announced a Switch Pro.
I mean, the whole points of the Switch is that it's a hybrid. It functions well as a handheld and a console. I personally don't see the point of this...

@TheFanatic Aside from the terrible pacing, Warcraft is a highly enjoyable movie with groundbreaking CGI.

Not interested in playing through such an old game, again. This was also my least favourite one by far.

Not really impressed. Looks like the same old tired formula, with new graphics that are all over the place. It looks really rough and muddy.

The single best Final Fantasy game and one of the best games ever made, period. I honestly hold this game very dear, and feel an 8/10 is not doing it justice.

@Balladeer I don’t think the theme or art style classifies it as a kids-only game, the mind-numbing gameplay that isn’t remotely challenging to anyone above the age of five does however.

It has nothing to do with being dead inside, or losing touch with your inner child because, let’s be real here, we’re all Nintendo fans and they are known for their colourful and charming games. The difference is that most others are at least somewhat challenging.

I had the same feelings after playing this demo as I did with Kirby Star Allies. Too easy and boring. Definitely aimed at kids only. The visuals are pretty good, but everything else about it seems hopelessly stuck in the past.
