Still playing from time to time. It truly is a gem. After the story mode, the game just keeps on giving, and giving, and giving...

I’d have settled for the real thing with this cartoon style. Not interested in mobile games in the slightest however.

It’s looking good, but the only thing that would make me buy this day one, would be full online play.

Just as funny as Doom Eternal I guess, a game that will be released on Switch.

I mean come on guys, even the Wii got Call of Duty. Not that I’d buy it. Probably one of the more stale and boring game series around.

@AlternateButtons The gameplay videos are there for the world to see, just saying. Plus, we have good reference for what a good or a bad game will be, and the fact that this looks nothing like the first two games.

I mean, I’m definitely subscribing since I play a lot of Splatoon and €20 a year is barely anything, but I find it appalling they actually think people still get excited over NES games. We’ve had virtual console for years now, had the NES Remix games and whatnot... the only thing that would really get me excited would be GameCube games. I’ve been dying to play Mario Sunshine, Paper Mario, Metroid Prime, Luigi’s Mansion and all those other amazing NGC gems again.

I honestly have never had any of the problems shown in those videos, and I've played the game for close to 100 hours since they released it on Switch.

@NiaBladerunner Nothing wrong with the main game mechanics. There's a huge lack of content though, which adding extra characters is not going to fix.

Bravely Third for Switch, please.

Sounds absolutely horrible.

I’m 20 hours in and just started the chapter 2 stories. I have to say I was surprised how much the game opens up at this point.

I think they should keep adding DLC, but release a Nintendo Kart in the near future. With all these cross-overs I think it’s obvious that Mario Kart could and should evolve into a Super Smash kind of mash-up game.

I really liked this game, but it is so barebones... After one week I was already tired of doing the same thing over and over again. There is barely anything else to do on your own besides the online tournament. The adventure is 2-3 hours long and after that there is nothing there to have you go back and play more.

For the amount of content you get, this definitely wasn't worth the 60 euro price tag.

I have a launch Switch but no cracks. Handheld use is probably 70% of the time though. My Switch does look very used. The coating on the grey joy-con look pretty bad and there are some marks on the back of the Switch.

Don't care for modding in the slightest.
If I wanted to mod, I'd play on PC.

Haven’t bought the Octo expansion yet since I have too much to play on Switch, but Splatoon 2 is my most played Switch game by far and I will eventually get it.

I really enjoyed this game last year and will definitely be purchasing the DLC. Reading that it's almost half the length of the base game makes it worth it even more!

@garthvader It can be your opinion that XBC2 looks better than DQ11 in terms of art style, but it's a fact that DQ11 is technically more impressive and demanding than XBC2, just as it's a fact that you cannot compare a game like DBFZ to DQ11 on a technical level. The former is peanuts compared to the latter.

That said, I still think it's total incompetence for them to have trouble making it work on Switch. There's a lot of graphical shortcuts they could take.

This sounds really amateuristic to me. Perhaps they should just give the PS4 version to Panic Button if they are this incompetent.

They should have included a mix of NES, SNES and N64 titles for their Online Subscription launch. I'm pretty tired of those NES classics myself. I was around back then and played them, and have bought a lot of them on the Wii VC as well.

I'm hoping on either gyro controls or 60fps.

@Peach64 Nope. I've been playing this game on my Switch and iPhone in the past few days, and the Switch version looks heaps better.

@Royalblues Considering it's only 30fps, has no gyro controls and doesn't include Save the World, a 8/10 is pretty generous if you ask me.

I'm loving this game. First time playing it. It's very overwhelming at first, but addictive! It looks and runs pretty well on Switch. I really, really hope they will add gyro controls soon, though! I just can't get used to this after playing a lot of Splatoon 2 and DOOM.
