@samuelvictor Wow, my thoughts exactly. My lil' bro was a Cars fanatic back in the day, and got the Cars game for GCN. It was surprisingly good, and we ended up playing it together quite a bit. Thanks for reminding me.😃

Not even sure what accessories I would need. I want to go as simple as possible, and I won't even have any multiplayer games until May. So... Yeah, I'll see in 37 days and go from there I guess.

Give me Shovel Knight for Smash! I mean come on, he's already got an amiibo that's going to be redundant soon... Also, a new round of character skins for Link and Mario to promote newer games like BotW and Odyssey.

I don't usually play RPGs, and this one looks really generic to me... So I'll pass. But, hey! I'm glad you guys have got one more game for launch.

@mateq OK, fair enough. I have no experience in warranty and returns, so I guess you got me there. At least Amazon came through, heh? Also, the Switch's accessories are way too expensive, I don't blame anyone for not buying those.

@mateq In regards to Nintendo's customer service, what makes you say that? I'm genuinely curious, because in all my experiences with them, (and there have been many), I've always felt that their service was excellent. Fast, helpful, and very patient, every time.

Much as I love MK8, I will not be getting this. I refuse to pay for their online, and there isn't enough controllers to really even play local multiplayer.

Will we have to pay for the Wii U and 3DS too?

The neon controllers would be fine separately, but alternating like that is just yuck. I'll stick to grey, thank you very much. Also, why didn't they make a Zelda edition with gold controllers?

I put in a preorder for a console and the BotW Special Edition. Yeah, I know... But I'd personally rather have one locked in and decide I don't want it, than to wait and decide I do and not be able to get one.

@SpaceboyScreams You know what? I'm kinda feeling the same way. BotW is exciting, yes, but Super Mario doesn't release until the Fall, Spla2oon is Summer, and I don't play JRPGs. Skyrim looks cool, but not a deal breaker either. I don't know what to do.

I'm a sucker for the LoZ amiibo, and it's almost inevitable I will end up owning all of these, maybe...

@rjejr I haven't played this game yet, but it sounds like the open city part of Marvel Superheroes. Is that accurate?

I have physical copies of this game on 3ds and Wii U, do they get the free update, or is it just for the downloaded versions?

I don't really care for VR, I get nauseous easily. Holographic projections would be much more my style. 😎

Wii U games shouldn't be that hard to port, most of the time the gamepad doesn't do anything. 3ds on the other hand...

If I buy a Switch, I'll need a carry case, and some kind of silicone case, but these don't look very well thought-out.

$250 sounds good, especially with PS4 and XBone bundles floating around that price for a few months now. Also take into account, do you really want to be traveling around with a $300+ console? I'd probably be too afraid of getting damaged or lost.

I've been known to like some of the stuff Frederator puts out, but this sounds awful.

Family got this for Christmas, but we're working on an enormous backlog, so I can't tell you if it's any good or not. Steer clear of the Netflix cartoon though, it's awful.

@KirbyTheVampire My thoughts exactly. The Wii U had a dismal launch line up, and it took forever for me to feel it was worth upgrading from the Wii. The Switch has my interest, now they need to keep it.

Personally, in all my Mario Kart playing years I've barely used battle mode at all, so 8's lack of didn't bother me much.

I'm cautiously optimistic about the Switch, and have set aside a nice chunk of money in case I do make the swap. Zelda on the go would be awesome, but I could just play it on my Wii U. So... yeah... We'll see.

Best case scenario: a Legend of Zelda series in the styling of Avatar: Last Airbender. Worst case scenario: Michael Bay makes a Metroid film.

What I would actually love to see is a really weird Warioware/Wario Land cartoon that's just absolutely bonkers.

Merry Christmas everyone! My family got some fun new games, like Skylanders, Disney Infinity and Lego Star Wars, and my little bro got one of those black friday new 3ds', so he's super excited. "Best Christmas eeevvveeerrr!!!!" Personally, I'm just rather tired of this year, but I'm cautiously optimistic about 2017...

Could someone please explain Frame rate to me? I think I sort of grasp the concept, but I'm still confused why it matters so much. Thanks.

Still playing Pirates Curse (Love it! Ended up with both 3ds and Wii u versions from that Humble Bundle months ago.) I think I may hold out on this one for awhile and see if it comes to the Switch. Also, the artstyle is gorgeous, reminds me of Rayman.
