I think it was the fan translation that was messed up in the first place. As long as they don't replace it with more easily dated memes I'm not gonna get too mad over it.

I think the WiiU version is still coming. They just got their work cut out making characters fit in all events. Unlike the 3DS one where each character besides Mario, Sonic and the miis are restricted.

I think what they mean is that with PiT there were technically 4 characters but all the system really did was complicate playing Mario & Luigi. Can't tell you how many times I got muddled with the order you're supposed to hit A & X (or B & Y) in for the basic attacks.

Makes sense as before you were stuck with either Bowser or Donkey Kong unless you shelled out (pun unintended) for the game twice.

Awesome. I just hope they tighten up the cutscenes a bit. I liked the story but they got to near Metal Gear Length at times.

I'm ok with the free to play model. I like the badge game as if I have any cash left over from adding an eshop card and buying a game I can use it.

What I hated about Shuffle though was how it abused my completionist ways by restricting certain pokemon to timed events and even then only gave them out to very few players, a transparent attempt to get you to spend money to get everything. It just put me RIGHT off it.

I didn't think Movie tie-in games existed any more after they all migrated to mobiles. We may be seeing an endangered species.

I'mma go ahead and re-download them while I can.

I suspect the NX will be like the Virtual Boy and original DS were, an experimental third line. In the VB's case it didn't work out so was forgotten, the DS on the other hand was a success and thus supplanted the GBA line.

Wow, a lot of the "Nintendo should die" people are out in force in the comments. It's not a uniquely Japanese thing but we hear about it a lot because most games companies of note are Japanese or American.

For all it's other flaws Capcom has been good at listening to American fans (i.e. working in Bison's imfamous Tuesday line) while other ones almost completely disregard them, despite them being the biggest buyers. Look at what happened to Sega. The stupid internal rivalry between american and janaese branches killed the Saturn and the Japanese side pulled the plug on the American branch's Sonic development because they dare to use the NiGHTs engine.

Not to mention jettisoning all of the American Sonic Canon bar Robotnik being made into Eggman's real name.

Oh boy. IGN really dropped the ball on that interview. What's everyone's obsession with making Link a girl? You wnat Link to be a girl you drawn your fan-arts.

I don't think fans should be accused of entitlement. Cemanding it should be cancelled is a bit far but we all know those petitions do hardly anything. It's more a way to vent fustration.

Whoever wrote the script for the Direct this year is to blame. A lot of the games with negative reception could have been better if presented right, for instance, say that the Animal Crossing party game was free with amiibo or establish why Federation Force is even a thing.

@GraveLordXD IT seems to be a big problem with the game industry, letting their B tier or A minus Tier games go to waste despite obvious demand. Mega Man, Castlevania, Banjo Kazoie... All go to the point theat the original creators jumped ship and started their own. With Blackjack and Hookers as stretch goals.

Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts and Bolts wasn't a bad game but it did poorly because it was seen as a bait and switch. What didn't help was Rare's self depreciating humour in game coming off as an insult to anyone who expected a platformer.

I think they should have been bolder and made the game it's own thing. Adding on the Metroid name only hurts it as it is now subject to the Nuts and Bolts effect. i.e. Banjo-Kazooie: N&B was a good game, but because of the expectations attached it just angered fans and killed the series.

Really? No spoiler warning? No vague headline of "next characters found in code of Smash patch"? Just out there in the ***** open? Thanks for killing tomorrow's reveal for me.

Oh, and Rosebud was the Sled, Vader is Luke's Father and Bruce Wayne is Batman.

@ColdingLight No, Trozei had no move limits and a different system for moving the pokemon.

Trozei is the better game, trust me.

The game gives you a free jewel just as soon as your initial hearts run out, obviously intending for you to use it to continue. They underestimate my ability to waste time.

A score can help but really what's needed is a summary and who they would recommend it to if it's a more niche thing.

So far it's Zelda, Metroid and F-Zero in the lead for Live-Action with the rest as animation.

As for character voices I don't think a talking Link would be as terrible as everyone thinks but I think he'd work best as a quiet type character that foes keep underestimating.

A Star Fox cartoon could work. The characters have identifiable but (besides Slippy) not obnoxious personalities and it could work with every week they free a new planet with an overreaching arc of them approaching Venom.

Even if you remove all the murder, incest and bewbs, Game of Thrones and Zelda are nowhere near on the same level. Zelda is about the adventure of one kid/man settign out to stop an all powerful evil. GOT is about power grabs while ignoring there is an incoming force. Unless the whole thing is the part of Ocarina of Time when everyone sat on their thumbs while Ganon cursed everyone.

I'm wondering if there'll be a second wave with the rest of the playble cast of MP10. That would be DK, Wario, Rosalina (sans Luma), Waluigi, Toadette and Daisy. I think this'll be the first Mario Party since DS without a random enemy as a character.

I think they played their hand too far. I wouldn't be too suprised if there's more somewhere down the line.

I don't see much wrong with that Pokemon game, unless it takes up a lot of SD card space in which case I won't get it.

I just see it as a harmless experiment.
