@Ikramali All down to preference at the end of the day. I barely have any games that wow me on the PS or Xbox. I'm not buying a PS5 (whenever that is) until the console's end-of-life. The NX regardless of what it is will very likely be a day-one buy for me as most of the games I love are on Nintendo platforms.

@Piersen I actually cosplay Igor (and the Velvet Room) at London Comic Con from time to time. Hopefully doing it again. We make Igor insanely creepy

To be fair, Persona is something of a magical series. It does not flood the market with titles but rather focuses on quality. Taking its time. And when it arrives, all that is left is the hype.

It might be that the game can't perform well enough with the 3D support?

@Grumblevolcano To be fair, the Wii U is their worst selling console (Virtual Boy excluded). You can't blame them for moving their in-development games to the NX

@Nintendian True, but a lot of them are fleeting whims. Look at Angry Birds. Massively popular. Became dead in a year. Now milks it.

Mobile games only generate mass income out of popularity and trends. Even Pokemon Go has quietened down since its release

@Grumblevolcano Actually I don't think that has an effect. At least not the proposed 9 months to christmas. You have to remember not everyone wants mobile games.

They need to cater to everyone's preferred platform

@SLIGEACH_EIRE I'm pretty sure this time they will be sticking to their guns. You have to remember the Wii U has had NO games announced since E3 and that was just for Breath of the Wild. By this point all Wii U games have been moved to the NX.

If they delayed it until Christmas the 3DS would be only source of substantial income. That would be 9 months of silence from Nintendo on the home console front. Not going to happen.

I really don't understand the dread. At the end of the day, if the game is good that's all that matters

It's a shame as it really is a good game. I got to sit down and play it this weekend. First time into the Metroid franchise and I am now very interested in playing the rest of them.

Actually I can confirm it is Wii U. I have played it many times before a the London Anime & Gaming Con. It's a fun game!

Let's hope it sells well. I know the UK has at least 1 sale

Regarding the NX, you'd be surprised how many games they could add onto their NX Direct if they did it "two months later". It really all adds up. It will mean the NX Direct will be one hell of a show!

@UberMadman You would be surprised. I was at Streetpass North Wales's event (it was a holiday trip). The sheer amount of enjoyment from people Blast Ball was hilarious.

They were getting so competitive you could imagine it being a real sport XD

I spent a few hours looking at reviews this morning. There are many 5-6s, 7s and 8s to this game. It is a good game wrapped up in a lot of controversy. I have also read a few reviews (professional and niche) critics become biased by the whole "hate Federation Force". It really shows how pathetic people can be.

So what would I say? Nothing. I am not going to recommend or slam the game. All I am going to say is that it is a good game. You want a portable FPS? It's here. Team work? That's there too. Next Level Games quality? Yup.

End of the day, this is a game that people need to decide whether they will enjoy it rather than follow the views of critics. Make your own choice people. It was always going to be a mixed reception review. No matter how good it was.

I chose to buy it because it looks like a fun game with friends. That's good enough for me.
