Have you had a chance to check out the Shaun the Sheep event course in Super Mario Maker yet? We think it's totally adorable. Following the release of this sheepish course, Nintendo UK has teamed up with Aardman Animations to create an exciting course design contest with a very cool prize.
The illustration of Shaun the Sheep playing on his Wii U which you can see above was drawn by Richard Starzak of Aardman Animations and the original work could be yours. To be in with a chance of winning you just need to design a course in Super Mario Maker using the Shaun the Sheep Costume which you can unlock by playing Shaun's Mossy Mole Mischief event course.
When you are happy with your creation, simply follow the instructions on the competition page to alert Nintendo UK to your masterpiece. The very best course – judged for its originality and playability – will be awarded the Shaun the Sheep illustration.
You have until 2nd of September to submit your Course Code, which should give you plenty of time to create an amazing Super Mario Maker course. Naturally with this being a Nintendo UK hosted competition, you'll need to be a UK resident to enter... would "ewe" believe it?

Were is the rest of the console?
@Dazza C'mon! Seriously? I sent in that news a week ago. And I said they've excluded Ireland again.
@SLIGEACH_EIRE You think a company called Nintendo of UL & Ireland would cater for Ireland? Hah!
But really, that is how it ends up :/
@SLIGEACH_EIRE Can you please stop for once?
Dang, I was so down for this till I realized it was for the UK only(I'm in the US). My 3 year old and I love this show as well as Timmy time. Oh well have fun with it guys and gals.
@NickOfTime90 Was I talking to you? NO!
This is a public forum. You are talking to everyone, whether they're tagged in or not.
@SLIGEACH_EIRE Not directly. Just a bit tired of your constant negativity:)
@Maxz There's no PM, so that's what I've to do. Oh wait, maybe I should use the contact form because that's clearly working.
I submitted a barn themed course. It's not one of my best levels, so I might submit another one if I get a flash of inspiration before it closes.
Oh....kay...
Now Mario Maker become so weird in my opinion... :S
@SLIGEACH_EIRE Where did you submit the news? We don't have any email with your name on it.
@Damo I used the contact form. Clicked news tips, entered my name and e-mail address and entered the story details. I've sent dozens and dozens and dozens of news stories.
@SLIGEACH_EIRE Well there's no record of this, at least not in my inbox. And to be honest, what can you possibly get out of moaning about the fact that we post news pieces at our own pace?
Daz got an email today from Nintendo about this, posted it up, end of story.
Where can I send the tip about a rumour about Nintendo NX
@Damo Well Nintendo are very slow as well then. It's been out a week with 2 weeks left before it closes. And why bother send in news tips if you don't use them?
@SLIGEACH_EIRE I think you need to relax and play some video games mate. If you aren't happy with the speed they post news you're welcome to start your own site. Would be a much better use of your time than submitting "dozens" of news stories then ranting about it in comment sections.
You don't honestly think they're sat there constantly checking that inbox and writing up everything that comes through and posting it the same day?
@PorllM Don't be daft mate. There won't be peace until NintendoLife has a dedicated 'SLIGEACH Corner', packed full of fun facts and features that the great man himself has gathered from all corners of the Internet.
While the artwork is pretty adorable, I think I would rather win the runner up prize. The figurine looks really nice, and figurines generally appeal to me more than drawings. I would love to enter this contest if I was a resident of the UK, seems like a lot of fun.
@SLIGEACH_EIRE And you're resorting to helpfully non-specific, knee-jerk insults after getting called out on being a repetitive, petulant sourpuss. Again. Same as usual for the both of us, I'm afraid.
Me with my unerring stupidity, and you throwing your toys out of the pram at every available opportunity.
Also, you made it quite clear previously that I wasn't worth your time and that you wouldn't be replying to anything I wrote. I must have done something to go up in your estimations, though I can't think what. I'm flattered*.
#NaffCommentSectionBrawl #WeShouldProbablyBeDoingSomethingMoreProductive
*I'm not flattered. That was obviously just a stupid uppity put-down. I don't enjoy these rubbish comment section scraps. I just wish you'd stop writing bitter, vacuous drivel when you don't get what you want. It's really unpleasant to read, and depressingly predictable. Sorry.
@HeCaster101 It's hidden in his fleece coat. Shirley hides food in hers
@PorllM Was about to recommend the same thing. It would be a better use of his time than pestering the N-life staff about his tips and them "not giving him credit" for them.
Wii Ewe
That conversation near the top of the comments is making me feel.........sheepish
Keep it family friendly here people...LOOK IT'S A SHEEP! IT'S GOT A NAME! RDSKFNGEJGNRDJNGEJ SHAUN THE SHEEP!
