HYPE x Pokémon
UK clothing firm HYPE has lifted the lid on its Pokémon range, due for release on September 23rd.
The new range includes caps, jackets, hoodies, backpacks and bags, and will showcase famous Pocket Monsters such as Pikachu, Jigglypuff, Charizard and Squirtle. Some of these products are showcased in the delightfully cheesy video, shown above.
The announcement follows in the footsteps of Insert Coin's own range of items, which also launched this year.

Not for me but I'm sure many Pokemon fans will like this. I decided to watch the ad to see if the designs were at least nice. Wish I hadn't, that commercial was naff!
That guy is too into his pokemon clothing. Way too into it...
Got some pretty cool designs... just a shame they ruined them by plastering the word 'hype' across them.

I'm sorry but as someone who rocks video game wear on almost a daily basis, I find these yucky personally. Yeah I used the word "yucky".
Insert Coin's range are a lot nicer I reckon, and they didn't have their logo branded all over their tees...
This is just... wow .. that guy will end up in therapy one day.
I'm actually really excited about these designs! It's hard to find Pokemon clothing that actually looks fashionable or something I would wear. I especially like the Jigglypuff range and the Team Rocket galaxy shirt
There also seems to be a large range of items so I'm sure there are plenty of options to choose from.
As someone who isn't a fan of wearing clothes with giant logos spread across them I'm surprised i actually like some of these.
I think the jiggly puff back pack and pull over are adorable 😍 there's a couple of others I'd like to see more of

They strike a deal with one of the biggest IPs out there and that ad was the best they could do?
It's like they just collected some supplies from the backroom closet, called in the prettiest looking dudes in the office, and said to just screw around in front of the camera til they had enough footage.
Low budget doesnt excuse lack of creativity, direction, or effort.
I don't like them, it feels like anime or some promo images pasted there and done. No sense of design, no nothing. Some of them are barely ok but I don't know why it is hard to make decent VG clothing without plastering images that are not that amazing when worn.
Wish the Hype logo wasn't all over the shirts, but I like a couple of the designs.

It's called 'streetwear' because when your father sees you wearing it, he is going to throw you out of his house.
And I thought SMTxFE with DJ Masterseal was one of the monst cringeworthy from Nintendo.
I liked some of the designs, but that advert was weird as hell lol. I felt awkward just watching it, not to mention half the time I was watching some dude blowing bubbles rather than see the clothes lol.
