I really wanted this a while ago, but I dunno about now. We'll see.
Though on the other hand, having a handheld game where I can roam big environments stealthily while wearing a ghillie suit would be awesome. And you can indeed wear a ghillie suit after they added it in an update.

Galaxy 1 and 2 and 3D World: 10/10. Can't beat this trio.
3D Land and Odyssey: 9/10. Not the best of the best in my mind, but these are darn close. I would argue 3D Land is the best handheld Mario game. Even now I come back to it and have a blast. Odyssey is good too, but I prefer the level style of 3D Land and World.
64 DS: 8/10. I like all the extra content, and the camera is generally easier to work with.
64 and Sunshine: 7/10. Camera and controls issues are what hurt these two games the most for me.
Continuing my marathon with Partners in Time. I should finish it today and move on to New Super Mario Bros. Added the Mario vs. Donkey Kong games past the first one back to my list because I may actually try to play them...

@Max_the_German My bet goes to Wind Waker HD and/or Twilight Princess HD. Next year is Zelda's 35 anniversary. After that, that just leaves Paper Mario Color Splash, Star Fox Zero, Kirby and the Rainbow Curse, Yoshi's Wooly World, and Xenoblade X.
Someone on here said that apparently Monolith said it would be too expensive to port. I don't know how true that is, but it might be.
I don't see Kirby and the Rainbow Curse happening...it was pretty reliant on the gamepad. Same with Star Fox though I wouldn't mind a re-do on Zero with the control scheme re-worked.
Yoshi's Wooly World is another possibility, but I dunno about that one since it already got a 3DS port.
I do wish they added the version of All Stars that includes Mario World. I understand why they likely didn't because Mario World is already on the service, but that version gave Luigi a unique sprite set, and it's my preferred way to play the game as a result. Even if I'm playing alone, I like playing in 2 player mode and sending Mario and Luigi off in different directions. It makes it feel like they're both searching the island and going through their own levels simultaneously. I'm guessing it's unlikely it'll ever be added to the Switch SNES app.
@MeowMeowKins I actually enjoy the jetpack nozzle and the rocket nozzle. And spraying goop away can be pretty satisfying. It's a weird gameplay concept for a Mario game though.
@cleveland124 Yeah the controls felt a bit clunky at times too. I also got annoyed at not having (to my knowledge anyway) Mario's crouch + back flip that's in some of the other 3D games.
@MeowMeowKins I do agree on it being the weakest. I just did it for my marathon, and I just got the minimum amount of shines to beat the game and then moved on to the next game. It's a very frustrating game I find.
@SaveDinos Wait, I'm a bit confused now. You said Galaxy 2 at 3.7 GB. Isn't the original only about 1.4? I'm not sure why Galaxy 1 would be over twice as large as Galaxy 2 originally either. Maybe better compression on Galaxy 2?
@SaveDinos I know the games will have higher resolutions, but it didn't look to me like any textures had been updated. At least it didn't LOOK like they had been. I could be wrong. These look like just higher resolution ports to me. Guess we'll see.
Edit: I just checked its eShop page, and it's 4.7 GB. So it should fit well within an 8 GB card in its current state at least. Adding in Galaxy 2, I can't imagine it would go over 8 with the original only being about 1.4 GB and knowing Nintendo's tendency to compress their games quite a lot.
@MeowMeowKins I wouldn't want them to skip Sunshine either. I want everyone to get what they want, and a lot of people would be disappointed if they skipped Sunshine. I just hope they add Galaxy 2 later.
@SaveDinos I somewhat doubt that since these are all pretty old games and don't take up a lot of space. Galaxy 1 itself only takes up 3.7 GB. Mario Sunshine is about 1.35 and 64 would only be several megabytes. Apparently Galaxy 2 is only about 1.4 GB. So all of that could potentially fit onto an 8 GB card with about 1.5 GB left over.
It's kind of weird for me how all this is dropping in the middle of my Mario marathon. The 3D collection will be out in time for me to play Galaxy on there instead of on my Wii U, but I've already done 64, Sunshine, and the games that are on All-Stars. Unfortunately, I'll be at 3D World well before the Switch version is out so I'll just have to play the Wii U version again!
@status-204 "One that's kind of like an expansion of an existing game and engine, like The Lost Levels was. It's a shame they didn't have anything like that lying around." This makes so much sense that the fact they didn't include it is hurting my head.
@tadams587 @Yosher I'm right there with you. I love playing that version of Mario World so I can play 2 player and switch back and forth between Mario and Luigi who actually has a unique sprite.
It's really funny that both Mario All-Stars and Mario 3D All-Stars have been added but are both missing an inclusion that would have made a lot of sense. Sometimes it feels like Nintendo has a rule that all good things they do must be balanced by something counterintuitive and frustrating. 😂 That said I'm really excited for both collections.
@MeowMeowKins Me too. It makes so much sense to include it. And like I said, they skipped over it in the ending montage. Why are they acting like it doesn't exist all of a sudden?
I imagine Bowser's Fury will probably be a set of harder levels, but it would be so awesome if it were a game length add-on where Bowser stars in his own platforming adventure.
@skulltulips Not slightly disappointed. Just completely baffled. They even skipped over it in the ending montage. And the original All-Stars had four games in it, so to have three in this one and just ignore Galaxy 2 completely is triggering my OCD severely.
@Teksetter Thanks! I actually had the other Mario vs. Donkey Kong games on my list, but I finally decided I'd rather not bother with them because they're more puzzle games than platformers, and I just don't find them all that interesting. Plus I'd have to actually go out of my way to acquire most of them. For me, Mario vs. Donkey and Donkey Kong 94 are the best ones, and all the others I can do without...
Oh, and I expect to go into Mario's 36th anniversary. I won't finish all these anytime soon.
I'm currently working on my Mario 35th anniversary marathon. I'm on Super Mario Sunshine right now. Mario & Luigi Super Star Saga is up next. I'll be playing the original version as opposed to the remake. I'll play the remake at a later date, but for now I just wanted to play the original.

I also may play New Super Lucky's Tale on my PS4. I 100%ed it on Switch and got it again on PS4 for 60 FPS. I love that game. Everything about it from the characters to the music is just precious, and I want a sequel.
I haven't played a Lego game since The Complete Saga, though I tried some demos of some other ones like LOTR and The Hobbit. I'm actually looking forward to this, I just wish they would do classic grunts, as it always gave the game more character and charm. I'm also hoping they use the same Lego piece for Kylo Ren's lightsaber that was used in Lego Episode VII. I liked how it had cross guard vents instead of just having a cross shaped lightsaber blade which unfortunately looks to be the case in this game. I wonder why they wouldn't just reuse the same model for his lightsaber?
Oh, and does this game include Rogue One? Because that scene of Vader in the hallway sure looked like it.
Oddly enough I just happen to be playing one of the games in the poll. Paper Mario. Continuing with my Super Mario 35th anniversary marathon!

I guessed Super sold the most, and frankly I'm gonna have to call BS on the color one because Samus's clothing underneath the suit in that picture looks RED to me. Not pink.
As it's Mario's 35th anniversary this year, I've been doing a complete sort of in universe chronological play through of the series (which I'm mostly assuming release order == chronological order except for the Yoshi's Island games which I did first). I even split the games into parts (mostly by consoles) and gave each part a name. I've made good headway. I'm already at Super Mario RPG! Played about halfway through it last night, and I'm starting from Star Hill today. The games I'm most excited about replaying are all the Mario and Luigi games (which I've only played once each), especially Bowser's Inside Story. I'm also excited about replaying Sticker Star, believe it or not. I only played through it once before also, and I don't remember that much about the middle and later parts of the game. Color Splash, Origami King, and Paper Jam will be entirely new to me as I've never played them before.

@Divinebovine Doom 64 is the best Doom in my opinion. It looks and feels more modern than classic Doom while still retaining that classic style. I enjoyed it more than 2016 and Eternal even. Have fun with it, and be sure to seek out the demon keys to power the Unmaker!
I played this game a ton a few months back and eventually beat it and unlocked hard mode. I haven't really played it since, but I'd almost like to just wait until they're finished updating it to go back to it (whenever that may be).
Somehow this game just ran out of steam for me by the time I reached the final mission, and I found myself wanting it to hurry up and end. I still don't want to play it, so I doubt I'll even be bothering with the Switch version at this point.

Got all but the box art and the portrayals. I knew Charles Martinet and John Leguizamo did, but I didn't know about the other two. Luigi is one of my favorite video game characters though so I should have gotten the majority right!

Re: Nintendo Announces Super Mario Remasters And Much More In Super Mario Bros. 35th Anniversary Direct
@MeowMeowKins I wouldn't want them to skip Sunshine either. I want everyone to get what they want, and a lot of people would be disappointed if they skipped Sunshine. I just hope they add Galaxy 2 later.
Re: Super Mario All-Stars Is Now Available On Nintendo's Switch Online SNES Service
Re: Checked The Switch eShop Recently? Mario's Redecorated
Re: Super Mario All-Stars Is Now Available On Nintendo's Switch Online SNES Service
Re: Nintendo Announces Super Mario Remasters And Much More In Super Mario Bros. 35th Anniversary Direct
@MeowMeowKins Me too. It makes so much sense to include it. And like I said, they skipped over it in the ending montage. Why are they acting like it doesn't exist all of a sudden?
Re: Super Mario 3D World Is Coming To Switch, Along With "Bowser's Fury" Expansion
I imagine Bowser's Fury will probably be a set of harder levels, but it would be so awesome if it were a game length add-on where Bowser stars in his own platforming adventure.
Re: Super Mario 3D All-Stars Lands On Switch On 18th September, And It's A Limited-Time Thing
Both physical and digital for me. Although I'm so miffed at the exclusion of Galaxy 2.
Re: Nintendo Announces Super Mario Remasters And Much More In Super Mario Bros. 35th Anniversary Direct
@skulltulips Not slightly disappointed. Just completely baffled. They even skipped over it in the ending montage. And the original All-Stars had four games in it, so to have three in this one and just ignore Galaxy 2 completely is triggering my OCD severely.
Re: Ubisoft's Summer Blow Out Sale Is In Full Swing On Switch eShop (North America)
I finally picked up Mario + Rabbids Gold Edition for my Mario 35th anniversary marathon.
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (August 29th)
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (August 29th)

7 out of 15. This was a hard one.
Re: It's Official, LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga Has Been Delayed Until Spring 2021

Re: How Well Do You Know Metroid?
I guessed Super sold the most, and frankly I'm gonna have to call BS on the color one because Samus's clothing underneath the suit in that picture looks RED to me. Not pink.
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (August 15th)
@wazlon Yeah, the first part I've sped through pretty fast. The parts with more RPGs and 3D platformers are gonna take a while.
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (August 15th)

I never would have guessed KFC would be popular in Japan...much less around Christmas.
Re: Dead Cells' Free Barrels o' Fun Update Comes To Switch This Summer
I played this game a ton a few months back and eventually beat it and unlocked hard mode. I haven't really played it since, but I'd almost like to just wait until they're finished updating it to go back to it (whenever that may be).
Re: Poll: What's The Best Paper Mario Game?
Most charming: Paper Mario
Best overall: The Thousand Year Door
Best story and characters: Super Paper Mario
Best...well nothing, but I really did enjoy exploring all the paper diorama environments: Sticker Star
Have yet to play Color Splash and Origami King.
@nessisonett Overall yes, but I would argue that Super Paper Mario has the best story and characters.
Re: id Software Reveals The First Campaign Expansion For DOOM Eternal
Somehow this game just ran out of steam for me by the time I reached the final mission, and I found myself wanting it to hurry up and end. I still don't want to play it, so I doubt I'll even be bothering with the Switch version at this point.

Re: How Well Do You Know Luigi?
Got all but the box art and the portrayals. I knew Charles Martinet and John Leguizamo did, but I didn't know about the other two. Luigi is one of my favorite video game characters though so I should have gotten the majority right!
