@TotalHenshin Whoever said that has only played like 2 or 3 games in their entire life LMFAO. timespinner takes some cues from the castlevania series but it is very much it's own thing. Has more of a retro gothic steampunk vibe with the enemy and area designs on top of the time travel mechanic
never cared much for either game tbh. Genshin is just a generic gambling arpg and botw was sorta boring and i have no reason to go back to it with totk out now.
love how all these crummy scam games designed to bait unbathing basement dwelling otakus are allowed on the eshop every 5 seconds but nintendo themselves rejected spark the electric jester 2 from coming onto the same platform
@RobTheIII They arent the best but at the very least their better than people like strictly limited or dispatch and the two companies i previously mentioned
having an aleste collection without super or musha is like having a burrito that's just lettuce and cheese tbh.
Also i advise anyone who sees this to stay away from the darius cozmic collection console, its shockingly barebones and lacks even basic features like rewind or stage select on top of not having even a quarter of the pc engine games.
not to be confused with the massive action rpg series fable or the point and click adventure game where your protag murdered his family and is on death row fable
honestly rly like how this game looks. reminds me of ranger x or subterrania with the gameplay but im rly hoping the title is just an unintentional thing and that the game doesnt cram boring softcore p01n visual novel segments down your throat inbetween gameplay
sega really has been on a particularly stinky roll with their legacy content lately! first colors ultimate, then sonic origins, now this! boy oh boy they're still better than nintendo with this stuff but like not by much lmao
the chaos continues on snes is actually pretty dang good but the rest of these idk about. no clue why they couldnt get the genesis games but this is still more sensical than doing a collection of two horrid bill and ted games for whatever f@#$ng reason they did i guess
These are genuinely good additions! what isn't genuinely good is that we're not getting updates like these for all 4 consoles every month and instead get spoonfed them every like 6 or 7 months instead. Once again, NO excuse for that coming from one of the richest companies on the planet, for a service that costs up to 70 dollars a year.
@FawfulsFury there’s no excuse for that AT ALL. They can focus on adding games for all 4 of them, they did it before with the virtual console. This is the richest company in Japan, not some small wholesome 100 mom and pop indie group
Why don’t you actually give switch online good emulation and consistent game additions then??? I wouldn’t be as up in arms with them doing this if I didn’t wait like 7 months for a new snes game only for it to be a f@(6ing side pocket pool game /: ( . Nintendo absolutely can and should have gone above and beyond with making their old titles accessible but they just…don’t, and it will always baffle me. Even Konami are better at this than them which is something I can’t say for just about any other gaming company.
Yeah similar to the actual strider this game’s final stage is super badly designed and feels like a bad kaizo rom hack made by a high schooler. Shame because the rest of the game is insanely fun and the final boss is pretty cool.
Also in typical scum-IN fashion the 30$ price is complete robbery. You’d be better off emulating this in mame and stopping once you get to the final level or waiting for it to go on sale.
No excuse for this. Idgaf how big these rpgs are, they’re still old games and people shouldn’t have to fork over 20$ under 100 just to play them again. I already thought sega was low enough when it came to porting there legacy content with sonic origins and colors ultimate but this is just a whole new low.
@Matroska better than 3 hours of apocalyptic tps with a nihilistic story for the ps5 and open world game set in Arizona with punk characters driving cars number 5 billion
@BenoitRen yknow what? Good point. At this point there’s really no reason not to emulate instead of waiting for these companies to rerelease their games in an unpolished or unworthy state if they even do it at all.
@EarthboundBenjy both of those were done by digital eclipse m2, tho. Digital eclipse and M2 always puts out bangers cough*asidefromthedariuscozmiccollectionconsole*cough for whatever they’re tasked with releasing, though the fact thes companies commissioned them to be this quality to begin with is a good sign
Yeah bs like this are why I view strictly and inin as scum of the earth and resort to emulation for my games, unless your some old fart blinded by nostalgia there’s NO excuse for this half assed fomo ***** companies have been doing with retro games lately.
