Dang... I was hoping he would make it long enough to play the actual game but sadly it wasn't meant to be. I'm glad he was granted his wish though.

100s or 1000s of Pokemon designs are left on the drawing room floor, but this one managed to become a real Pokemon. I'm really hoping they knock it out of the park for next years game but this... man, I don't know... I think I'm done with new Pokemon games.

This is great. I've never played BlazBlue but I've wanted to try it out. I play Guilty Gear so I think I should be okay.

Man, I better get in some more free online games of Splatoon 2. That is the reason I bought a Switch as early as I did, but I haven't played online in forever.

Maybe if they include Cat Quest 2 for free whenever that gets released, but otherwise no. You can get this game way cheaper if you just download it.

@tsdenizen Another thing from gen 7 that I hope they continue to on to the newer games is Ride Pokemon. I thought that was the best thing about that gen, but not enough for me to put money down after the bad taste X/Y left in my mouth. I decided to hold out until gen 9. Hopefully the only bad taste in my mouth next year is the taste of the Switch game card.

@JHDK Yellow was good for its time but it's really dated now. I don't blame you for not being into Pokemon after playing X. Heck I didn't even buy any of the gen 7 games after playing Y and I've been playing these games since the 90s. I recommend playing black/white or black 2/ white 2. Those are my favorite games in the series. B/W used only Pokemon specific to that region and got a lot of unwarranted hate because of that. B2/W2 are sequels with some characters being promoted to gym leaders or Elite Four members and includes Pokemon from all regions able to be caught in the wild.

@gcunit What kind of game would you want? A side scrolling game similar to the single player mode where you use ink to shoot enemies and move from one area to the next? Or a rhythm game similar to the Persona dancing games with music from the Squid Sisters and Off the Hook?

Shining Resonance Demo!

The next few weeks are gong to be insane. The Lost Child, Ys VIII, Shining Resonance, and Octopath Traveler. I'm going to be in RPG heaven.

That looks nice, but I don't need another 3DS. I still wish I could get some cheap face plates for my N3DS, but Nintendo thinks they can get away with selling two pieces of plastic for $20 or more. I don't think so Nintendo, I'm not buying.

I was wondering what happened to this game. I was starting to convince myself I had made it up in my mind. The battle system kind of reminds me Tokyo Mirage Sessions. If it turns out even half as good as that it should be good.

I'm looking forward to playing this. Not too long a wait now.

I might pick it up physical, or if it goes on sale before then digital. Hoping they fix the bugs before that happens. I feel like I'm going to need a map though. I tend to get lost in these games and then if I can't find my way back I just give up.

I love these cards. I print out the new ones every year even though I have nobody to give them to.

So the moral of this story is: Don't buy Nintendo games day 1, wait 10 months for them to re-release the game with all the cool stuff included.

@Balta666 I think this games battle system is the easiest one to understand and follow. It's not as hard or confusing as people are making it out to be.
