I like the retro graphics on the 3DS version, but the PS4 version looks beautiful as well. I don't know which one to get. Then, the fact there will be some kind of shared save data between the two just screams "BUY BOTH!".

If I want to play all these games that are coming out I'm gonna have to quit my job. In doing so I'll lose my income to purchase them in the first place. Ugh... What should I do?

Also, let's get something straight. The Wii U was NOT a disappointment. The way Nintendo handled its life was a disappointment. The poor thing had a bad life and it's dead now. There is no need to dig it back up if all you're going to do is kick down again. Let it rest in peace.

Whoa! Looks like I'm late to the party. Why are we arguing guys?
I highly doubt the Switch will get anymore ports than what is already planned, those being mk8 deluxe, lcu, and smash with all dlc characters and stages.
There was a similar poll when wii u was released asking what wii games we would like in HD and none of those games were ever made besides wind waker,the reason for the poll in the first place, and twilight princess, which could be argued was a port of a GameCube game and I'm cool with that.
All these polls do is get our hopes up for nothing, and cause division among us. Now come on everybody, bring it in for a group hug and go back to only being mildly annoyed at each other. 😉

Okay, that's probably not true. I'm sure bringing this game over from Wii U to Switch and PS4 took a lot of effort, but this is the one thing EVERYBODY was asking for when we found out it was coming out on better hardware.

Let's still hold hope that the update can fix this issue a little bit more though guys.

This game looks great. I love how the daughter is coming up with wild ideas and he finds a way to put it in the game.

This game is going to have new maps, new weapons, and new ways to customize your character with the addition of pants and hairstyles. It's a sequel!

I wouldn't mind seeing a few old maps though, most likely the three stages we picked for the final Splatfest and maybe one developers favorite.

I wonder what, if any, new ranked modes this sequel will bring. I hope Rainmaker returns,love that mode. Splat Zones can return or not I don't really have a strong opinion either way. Tower Control can go spend eternity in brimstone and fire, seriously!

I didn't get to play because I don't have a Switch yet, but I saw one of Alex's videos. He was killing it on there. He said he played the first one for 400 hours. I wonder what his rank is.

Also, there is a SMT game coming to the Switch. They showed a teaser trailer during the reveal presentation for the Switch.

@gcunit Just tell your wife you're cheating on her. Then when she finds out it's with your Switch and your collection of games you've amassed over the holidays she won't mind that much.

@feelinsupersonic Yeah I saw it was on sale. I didn't put it on my list because I didn't know the sale price because I already have purchased it so on my systems the price shows up as $0.00. 😁

Looks good. Kind of reminds me of Okami. If he can make it even half as good as Okami was, this could be better than what a lot of these bigger studios churn out.

It's good that Nintendo is confident in the Switch. That's something they didn't have for the Wii U and that showed with the quality and selection of some of their games. I mean who asked for a full fledged Captain Toad game. It was fun but it wasn't something we asked for. We asked for Metroid, Nintendo didn't deliver. We asked for Animal Crossing, Nintendo said OK here's Animal Crossing lite.

Ugh this is sounding like I'm bashing, but I'm not trying to do that. I want to be positive. There is enough negativity regarding Nintendo on what is supposed to be a Nintendo news site.

What I'm trying to say is maybe with this new found confidence Nintendo can actually give us what we ask for and really put their heart and soul in what they put out so they will be proud of their work and when we play those games we feel the kind of feels we had back when we were kids and ALL loved Nintendo like we say we do.

@MadAdam81 Yeah, Nintendo did a great job of getting people hyped for the Switch and BOTW.

Hopefully they can keep it up throughout the Switchs life, keep it in stock so more people can buy it and keep making new games that blow people away with their creativity, scope and most importantly fun factor.

@Spiders That's why my name is Fooligan. 😜However, I'm very well aware of the library on the Switch and love BOTW and bomberman. What I'm saying is there is not much to look forward to after that, and don't say Mario Kart because I can play that game already on the Wii U.

It's cool that Nintendo is giving XCX and TMS#FE some attention by featuring them. They are both great games, but 140 GOLD coins is a lot to ask for for a small discount. XCX can be found in the clearance shelf at Walmart and Target already got rid of it last year from what I've read around the Internet.
They should either lower the coin amount or raise the discount, or both.
