Re: Rayman Legends: Definitive Edition Set for 12th September, Demo Live in Europe

Fooligan

@SLIGEACH_EIRE Aww comes on Sliggy. The Wii U version might be the "definitive" version, but this is the same game with added features.

Kung Foot solo mode and tournaments are going to turn a small feature from the first game into a small game in itself.

The fact that Ubisoft is giving us the choice to play the Murphy levels with either buttons or touch screen is something that we should be commending them for.

This version might kick the Wii U version off its throne for title of Definitive Rayman Legends.

Re: Preview: Whistling for Attention in Hey! Pikmin

I'll still get it. I like Pikmin.

I do have a problem with the use of amiibos in this game and some recent games that only use a particular set of amiibos. When amiibos were announced they were billed as figures that could be used across different games. Sadly that's not the case anymore.

Re: There's No Such Thing As "Game Over, Man" In Super Mario Odyssey

I actually don't mind this but let me go on a rant for awhile.

Back in my day, When I played Super Mario Bros. and died I dusted myself off and was forced to git gud. Kids these days don't know what it means to git gud.

Now keep in mind I was maybe 6 or 7 when I was playing Mario so I figured my nieces who are a bit older now than I was then would be able to handle the game just like I did, but nope. I watched them die to the first goomba for ten minutes straight once they finally were able to jump over the goomba I had to watch them die from the first pitfall for another 15 minutes after that I said "let's play something else. "

Re: Platinum Games Teases The Wonderful 101 for Switch

If you would have asked me a couple months ago what I thought of all these Wii U games being ported to the Switch I would've told you "I hate it", but now i don't mind.

The Wii U is a special system that will always have a place in my heart. So when all these people are falling in love with "that new game for the Switch". I'll know where it really got its start and how a system that nobody but the most hardcore Nintendo fans wanted, was the home of all the best games.

Re: Poll: What Did You Think of Nintendo at E3 2017?

Fooligan

I think Nintendo did very well. The games I'm looking forward to are Mario Odyssey, Mario+Rabbids, Xenoblade, Metroid 3DS, and for other consoles Monster Hunter World.

In regards to Metroid Prime 4, I am happy that it was announced but I can't honestly get hyped about it because I know Nintendo is going to be showing that game off for the next possibly two E3s.

Last thing, I had a great time watching E3 week with you guys. Everybody here is awesome. The Nlife team is the best. The pun game is strong over here. Anyway keep up the good work you guys.

Re: Video: Get a Good Look at Hey! Pikmin in this Overview Trailer

Fooligan

This game is looking insane! Those huge two screen boss battles look like they'll be epic! I can't wait!

@Anti-Matter The demo for Pikmin 3 is available on the Wii U. Basically you use the Pikmin to find fruit to stay alive and to fight the enemies in your way. You can then take the defeated enemies and make more Pikmin. I think you should give it a try.

Re: Review: ARMS (Switch)

Fooligan

Okay it's getting pretty good reviews. Now we just need people to buy in. That is going to be the real test.

Can Nintendo convince enough Switch owners to make the purchase? I hope so.
