if it's sub £20 then yeah maybe, it's basically Virtual Console at this time. If it's £40, nah.

I think it's only a matter of time before devs decide to start going with many more Switch exclusives. Surely the dev cost for other platforms isn't justified with such small sales. Might as well plough all of the time and effort into Switch, make max profits and move on to their next game. It might shave off 6 months of dev time by concentrating on one platform, but over the course of the next 5 years or so it may mean they can churn out another game or two.

I wonder how charts are tracked with regards to purchasing from foreign eshops. I buy them from South Africa, Russia, Norway etc depending on who's cheapest, but I wonder if developers are still able to track where the user is based as well as where the game was bought from. Will my sale contribute to the Russian charts because that's where I bought it from, or would it go towards the UK one because that's where my Switch is registered to?

i love the aesthetic and the whacky characters, but as someone alluded to, levels slightly too long and not challenging enough. Maybe it gets better as the game goes on but I think I gave up a couple of hours in... Might give it another go once I'm done with Rain World. Still have Dandara and Teslagrad to finish too!

out of the 40 games I have on Switch right now, this is my biggest regret...

Personally, it's one of my least favorite songs to feature in a video game in all my history of gaming. In my opinion it's a bit cringey.

That being said, I can't stop whistling the dang tune!

I'd rather have Nintendo characters, what about Ray MK III from Custom Robo, Raymond Bryce from Disaster or Pious Augustus from Eternal Darkness?

But if it is to be 3rd party, then we need Leon from Resi 4, but I can definitely see Ezio from Assasins Creed on it's way.

So many amazing memories playing Sonic Adventure 2. Must have spent around 100 hours training up those Chao's.

Popped into my local GAME store yesterday in and in the 5 minutes I was there 2 families bought a switch with another umming and ahing.

The dad did say to the young on 'youre not having Splatoon coz we aren't paying for online membership'... Then bought Smash and Mario Kart 🙈

@brunojenso The only reason it receives negative reaction is because it wasn't a traditional Starfox game. As a game on its own merits though, it's great! It's a Zelda clone that never quite hits the heights of a Zelda game but it pushed it very close. Great combat, beautiful and interesting world, good puzzles, cut scenes etc.

My son is called Eli Wood, when the character Eliwood popped up I told my Mrs 'you do realise that this is who I named our son after?'. She went ballistic, I still haven't told her I'd never heard of him before.

Don't understand the love for Dante, a character from a series that has never appeared on a Nintendo console, daft to even put it in the list in my opinion.

Any of the other three would get my vote but preferably Ammy, she has the potential to be the most interesting fighter in the game.

wish they'd make the Queen/ Smash video the official trailer and stick that on TV, imagine the hype then!

talking of Smash bros boosting Switch sales, has anyone seen any TV ads in the UK for it? I've not seen one yet I don't think.

joking aside me and my brother used to buy between us the Official Nintendo Magazine, NGC and Cube back in the gamecube days. I used to love picking out a random issue from months or years ago and flick through it again, finding a review of a game I never noticed before to realise it was right up my street. Discovered SSX Tricky that way and ended up being one of my favourite games of all time.

I find this extremely sexist. Why is that only the females are blushing after spicy food? Are the devs insinuating that all women are fragile, poor little vessels that can't handle hot food and that it is reserved only for big macho males? I expected better from Nintendo.

@Fake-E-Lee nah there's none of that nonsense with the Russian eshop. Just login and pay for it. Same goes for most eshops, it's only north American ones which seem to have that issue. Most of my games come from South Africa, Russia or Norway as for some reason their prices are ridiculous.

@frabbit I'd be happy with a tiered structure. Bronze level at £20 a year with free NES games, Silver for £30 with SNES and N64 games, Gold for £40 with Gamecube games. Not so far off what Sony currently offers is it?

This tells me that the only reason why they haven't released VC content is to drive sales of the classic systems. Now they're on their way out, there's no excuse for not allowing us to access these games through the eShop or Online.

For the record I'd be absolutely fine if all we got for free with Online is the NES games. As long as I have the option to buy SNES, N64 and GCN games as standalone products I'd be perfectly happy.

@proof21 I don't mind playing as a female, what I cannot get into however, are bands with female lead singers. I even struggle to accept a band that has a female musician in it. No idea why.

@Moroboshi876 to be fair, 2019 looks decent. We have Marvel Ultimate 3, Mortal Kombat, No More Heroes, Mario Bros U, Luigi's Mansion, Daemon X Machina, Bayonetta 3, Crystal Chronicles, Trials Rising, Yoshi...

Admittedly a few of those have no firm dates but I'd like to think they will all release at some point in 2019. But then again there's still no HUGE Nintendo IP's there are there?

there'll be no gamecube ports, especially when they have the potential to release games like Sunshine HD, at about £40 I expect aswell.
