Still trudging through Xeodrifter after picking it up at the bargain price of 62p! Hard as nails but it's use of HD rumble is the best example on the system.
Downwell is probably the most addictive game I've played so I'm sure there'll be time for just 'one more go'.
And Ni No Kuni II if I can dedicate a couple of hours tonight. Man I wish that game was on Switch.
english dubs are very rarely any good anyway. Bad, over the top voice acting and usually poor casting aswell, voices not matching the character etc. Zelda's voice on BOTW was abysmal for example.
The only exclusions to this rule seem to be Ghibli films and other high end jap films.
Interested to know what the 'more features' means, considering there are hardly any regarding the online service. I mean, where on earth are those special offers for subscribers? Coming Soon
@BensonUii it's surprising considering it was one of the first major releases during a time when we didn't have many major title to go at. You'd have thought that a good percentage of switch owners would have bought it.
Be aware that while Rain World is absolutely fantasitc, it's currently broken. The devs have told me on twitter that a patch is on its way but that was weeks ago. It basically freezes and boots you back to the home screen with a message simply saying something along the lines of 'an error was detected and the software was closed'. 3 times it happened to me.
Always enjoyed Advance Wars more than Fire Emblem but it's been so long I don't know if I could stomach a tactics game, as per how my tastes change over time. I wasn't a fan of Into The Breach for example but perhaps nostalgia will play an important role towards enjoying this title.
@KIRO could be teaching you to suck eggs here but the tabletop gaming community has exploded in the last few years. It's amazing to see how the hobby has evolved and what is available nowadays. Long gone are the days of monopoly and cluedo.
Don't even know why they're going to bother with PS4 or Xbox. Just concentrate all your efforts into the switch version, it will outsell the others 5 to 1 anyway. Any money you lose out on in sales will be saved in development costs surely.
3D is essential in some games. After playing Mario 3D Land, it was near on impossible to play Odyssey. The depth perception achieved with the 3DS was revolutionary and I'm gutted they abandoned it. I'd love a Switch 3D
I know they've said there are only going to be 5 DLC packs but I'm hoping that they continue to support the game through out the life of the Switch. I'd be happy if they just kept this version for the next console. Just keep adding new character packs every 6 months or so...
@ricklongo what were you let down by? I ordered it on Saturday and can't wait to get stuck in. Loved the first one, and I understand it's completely different to the second, but I prefer the fast paced melee combat anyway. Reviews have been unbelievably positive so I'm curious to know what you didn't like?
Never played or wathed this series. I enjoyed Ni No Kuni which appears to have a similar battle system. Do I need to have played any previous entries to get into it?
The one thing that puts me off hardcore fighting games is that the combo lists always display the combat actions rather than the button required. Eg K K P P K S rather than A A B B A Y
So Eurogamer give it a 1/5, IGN a 6, Easy Allies (who by the way give the most informative and balanced reviews on the net) a 5.5... and yet Nintendolife gives it an 8?
I'd encourage people to seek a few more reviews before trusting this one.
Here's to another 20 million in 2019/2020 fuelled by Animal Crossing, Metroid, Bayonetta 3, Fire Emblem, Daemon X Machina, Yoshi, Pokemon... And that's just from Nintendo! What a year (hopefully!).
Time for Nintendo to start snapping up these extremely talented studios before someone like Microsoft does.
Imagine Nintendo holding exclusive rights to the next games from Yacht Club, Motion Twin, Sabotage, Image & Form etc. The Switch would be plagued with desirable 'AAA Indie' exclusives that you simply can't find anywhere else.
@Gs69 are you sure this is the case? Maybe I'm an isolated case but the only big releases I have are Zelda, Odyssey, Smash, Xenoblade, Splatoon 2 and MK8. Everything else has been indie releases. I'm not pining for big releases, just new experiences. If that means it's a port then so be it.
I've passed on Pokemon, Pokken, Dark Souls, Doom, Wolfenstein, Mario Tennis, Donkey Kong, Rabbids, Fifa, Arms, Skyrim. All big releases that apparently we all crave.
Personally I am praying for Windwaker and Twilight Princess HD, Wonderful 101, and Mario Maker.
@Likethepear who cares what the game looks like? Celeste provided me more hours and fun than Spiderman did on the PS4. AAA means big budget, which implies high quality, but as we all know that is not the case more often than not.
There's so much great content available for the 3DS and yet I feel as though I'm never going to pick it up ever again now that the Switch is here which is a real shame.
I have a 5 year old and will save my 3DS and pass it down to him in a couple of years time. Hopefully many big titles will begin to tumble even further in price on the eshop.
@Majora101 Ha! I must have been about 14, spotted a bizarre looking album cover of a green flower in my dad's car. Took it inside to see what it was and ended up being the album that got me into music for life. DM have been my heroes ever since.

Re: Masahiro Sakurai Reveals He Plays Smash Bros. Ultimate For Fun Just Like The Rest Of Us
He ought to make Smash Kart with the Mario Kart team. Do away with Mario Kart now.
I'd love to race as Captain Falcon in an Arwing themed kart, hitting opponents with a laser sword while zooming around Pokemon Stadium.
Re: Masahiro Sakurai Reveals He Plays Smash Bros. Ultimate For Fun Just Like The Rest Of Us
Time to move on from Smash.
Just keep this game moving forward and just add new characters, modes, stages every couple of years for the next decade
Re: Switch Release Would Take Priority If Mobile Game Alien: Blackout Ever Gets Ported To Consoles
