Slightly unrelated but wouldn't it be lovely if Nintendo made some similar acquisitions. Even if just at Indie level. Yacht Club, Playtonic, Shin'en and Image & Form spring to mind- I'd trust all those 4 with any of Nintendo's IP's.
Still got my Aqua Blue 3DS from launch day, one of the systems that received the Ambassador Library of games after the swift price drop.
On the hunt for a New 3DS XL but prices seem to be ludicrous at the moment.
Also, the 3D effect was insane and set the bar for platformers. It made it so much easier to judge distance and drops. I hope that the Switch 2 incorporates a 3D capable screen. Just give those that like it the option!
I'm on to Level 5 now of Cyber Shadow and I don't quite understand why many are criticising its difficulty. From memory it's no more difficult than Shovel Knight- which yes was difficult at times in itself but not as if CS is any more difficult.
Is it difficult in the sense that you always feel as though you can do it? For example Shovel Knight. It never seemed like it was the games fault. You knew exactly what you needed to do and you know you can do it and you always only had yourself to blame! And it was that feeling that made you me again and again and again
it was so revolutionary it makes any other platformer played on a 2d screen so difficult. On Odyssey for example, there were so many times I'd struggle to judge distance and drops etc, or where mario would need to be to hit a block above his head etc. Likewise, Astrobot on PSVR takes that to a whole new level. You can traverse the world with ease like a ninja, never guessing how far to jump or fall etc. Hopefully we one day see a return on the 3D screen on the next Switch as an option for those that want it!
@Pod as a non hobbyist game creator, I'd say ANY game is NOT easy but when you see such technical marvels across all platforms I don't think an experienced team would not be able to make this work.
Or if it is then just make pre determined tracks that get extremely difficult- if there's more than one survivor by the end then who ever is 1st wins
I got turned off the series when the Exp Share was available from the beginning- it just made the whole game far too easy.
Black & White was my last full outing, with all of my Pokemon transferred from games as early as Ruby & Sapphire. My level 100 Dragonite, Alakazam and Arcanine were unstoppable and I nearly filled the entire Pokedex. God knows why I got rid of it after ploughing over 500 hours into it! One of my biggest regrets ever!
easily enough room for it, but just had the worlds thickest carpet fitted. They should have released this as a collaboration with Anki and used their Overdrive tracks.
Can't believe 64 and Sunshine aren't proper remasters. Was expecing a Crash Bandicoot/ Spyro remaster style collection. Who am I kidding? It's Nintendo
The problem i've had so far is because of how slow and tranquil it is, i constantly fall asleep after a long days graft. Everytime I boot up the game I can't remember what I most recently did because during the previous session I was in a trance!

Okami, Metroid Prime 3, Hades... All played to death, some of my favourite games of all time and yet never finished any of them.

Re: Nintendo Might Have Revealed A New Mario Golf: Super Rush Character Ahead Of Schedule
Thank god for the speed mode because otherwise it's just a golf game with mario characters.... Where's all of the whacky themed courses?

Re: The F-Zero Series Is Now 30 Years Old
Just do F-Zero Battle Royale. Procedurally generated track which gets harder as time goes on. Last man standing wins. Easy
Re: Review: Hades - A Heavenly Trip Into Hell That's Utterly Essential For All Switch Owners
this is GOTY for me hands down.

Everything about Adventures 2 DX was perfect. I'd love to be able to play this on the Switch and introduce my son to it.

Fans of this NEED to play UnderHero, 86% on Metacritic. Another Paper Mario homage with a twist.

Re: Control: Ultimate Edition Is Available Now On Switch, But There's A Catch
I got a flawless experience on the enhanced graphical mode at around 37mbs.
However, I will never ever pay more than £15 for a cloud game. It's basically a rental. They should charge £10 for a months access and that's it.

Re: Poll: Mario Kart Live: Home Circuit Is Out Today On Switch, Are You Getting It?
easily enough room for it, but just had the worlds thickest carpet fitted. They should have released this as a collaboration with Anki and used their Overdrive tracks.
Re: Gallery: Here's A Look At Some Of The Costumes In Mario Kart Live: Home Circuit
we have a big enough room easy but it's just been carpeted. Would be handy for them to sell a modular track similar to Anki Overdrive

any chance of including trailers in your reviews? They're always in news snippets but never in reviews
