I had intended to play Project Zero 5 this Halloween, but this morning my copy of Dark Cloud for the PS2 arrived and I decided to be comfy rather than scared this weekend.
@DefHalan Personally when playing this game I'll be wondering what has been changed and how in localization when it comes to the story content. If something was the product of the developers (which I'd prefer), or the localization team.
Waiting to hear if the changes only affect Lyn, and not the other characters. If it's just for Lyn, fine, whatever.
Keep in mind that the outfits were designed for female characters, of which Lyn is one, and thus able to equip it. It's not like they went out of their way to design it for her specifically.
If I can still take my custom protagonist designed to look like me down to the beach with some beach fashion and my mech for a little Skells Illustrated. I'll be happy. I dress modestly in life and it's fun to muck about in games with outfits I wouldn't otherwise wear. Saints Row 3 and 4 were great fun for that.
Freedom Planet probably, got the limited edition of Project Zero on pre-order still, despite my disappointment with choices made in the localization. I don't want the series to die.
Gerudo attack your village, and you set off on a quest of revenge that takes you up a giant Link standing in Lake Hylia, across to the giant Ganon facing opposite, while learning how to use the abilities of the fabled weapon: the Master Sword.
I only have two download games for my Wii U: Wii Fit U (Got the promo version, linked a Wii Fit Meter to it to unlock the full version) and Wii Party U (a free download after buying Mario Kart 8)
Aside from those exceptions, physical games are the choice for me. If I can't get a game as a physical copy, I'll get it digitally but I tend not to value them or treasure them as highly. The day when games stop getting physical retail releases is the day I stop and just focus on my back catalogue.
I'd rather they be left in there. They're optional costumes, no one has to use them if they don't want them, the game is rated 18. The removal of them (outifts that I wasn't particularly interested in using) has me concerned for the localization of Xenoblade X, which has outfits I do want to use at times for my protagonist.
As optional costumes go... damn. (; 'A') Not quite as cool as the Nintendo themed Bayonetta costumes, but what could be? Not going to use on my first playthrough, but for messing about in? Hell yes.
I just want another chance to use a controller/unit with a touchscreen. Inputting download codes on my 360 is agony after using the Wii U and 3DS on screen keyboard.
You know what? I've been asking for this since we started getting third party GBA games. I've got the original for my dreamcast, but those extra levels are a nice bonus.
I wonder if we could ever get a port of Sega Swirl and Snail Maze.
@abe_hikura I should find something suitable in the store to buy to make the queue worthwhile. Maybe finally picking up a copy of Dead or Alive Xtreme 2. "Oh, I'll take one of those Pokemon serial codes too, please!"
Plenty of games I'd love to see. Ristar, Vectorman, Light Crusader, Bare Knuckle 3, The Revenge of Shinobi, Comix Zone, Beyond Oasis, Alien Soldier, Alien Storm, Shadow Dancer, Golden Axe...
(Shining Force and Phantasy Star stuff would be nice too, but not holding out hope there.)
@rishisquid Someone asked about using it with one hand and clicking it with a thumb, I took that to mean holding the device sideways like some DS games require (and even a few Wii U games can use with the gamepad, like Dr Luigi)
@6ch6ris6 I think if you hold it like a phone, your palm is on the underside and your thumb can scroll and click at the top button. Like holding a DS sideways for various games and applications.
I didn't think they'd stop doing them, it'd be silly too. I think the format they'll return in will pretty much be the same as we've seen, with someone doing a lead in that is then picked up by a regional host (Morimoto for JP, Bill or Reggie for NA, Shibata for EU), with devs appearing as needed and Damon for Nindie stuff. Throw in the odd Treehouse appearance too.
@dizzy_boy NoA gearing up Nintendo Software Technology would be interesting. Previously NST put out titles like Wave Race: Blue Storm, 1080 Avalanche, and Metroid Prime Hunters. Currently they've just been working on the Mario vs Donkey Kong titles, crossword games and Aura-Aura Climber.
NoE could make closer use of European developers like Shi'nen Multimedia and Image & Form, or staff up for their own NST analogue.
@JamesCoote Why would they merge NoA and NoE? 3rd party devs would still have to submit games to ratings agencies in Europe, there'd still have to be translation done for the various languages, and there are different laws and regulations in both regions. Plus marketing companies, distribution companies, work with vendors... and there's likely financial reasons to consider too.
Dear Satoru Shibata, please deliver to us the Fortissimo edition on the Nintendo UK online store. May you keep it from being GAME exclusive, and ward off lorry thieves.
This interests me way more than the straight crossover people were imagining back when it was SMT x FE. Can't wait.
I'm... ehhh. The hat and shirt are cool, the toy looks a little cheap, and I already have that amiibo. Maybe if it was the modern colour version I'd bite, but no dice. I could get three 3DS games I've been seeking for that.

Damn good early PS2 game, there.

Re: Nintendo Is Making Female Characters Cover Up For The Western Version Of Xenoblade Chronicles X
@OlicityBlows That's odd, I'm treated like a human being every day. It's not a one or the other type deal.

Re: Zelda Fans Vent Anger At Nintendo of America Over Doge Memes In Tri Force Heroes
Better to have people spread memes created from your content than parroting other memes, in my opinion.
Re: A Level Made by Shinya Arino Will Be Included in the Upcoming Super Mario Maker Update
Game Center CX is my #1 show about gaming, beating out all others. Hopefully I'll get to play as the Kacho himself in Mario Maker.
Re: Tatsumi Kimishima Confirms That Nintendo Direct Will Return, With "At Least One" This Year
@Ras Considering that plenty of other people have done the motion on various Directs, it should stay as tribute to him.
Re: A Teaser Site for Xenoblade Chronicles X Has Just Gone Live in North America
Still a little worried about what 8-4/Treehouse will do with the game, but excited to get my hands on it.

Re: Resident Evil 4: Wii Edition is Creeping Up On the European eShop for Halloween
I've got it on disc, so I'll be sticking with that.

Re: Video: Say Hello to Two More Characters from Genei Ibun Roku #FE
Well, Barry has jumped up to being my favourite revealed character so far. Can't wait for this to come out and be butchered by Nintendo of America.

Have it someone trying to get from incredibly deep underground to the top after a massive cave-in/earth movement and call it Steamworld Dug.

C'mon Legendary Starfy for EU! Sonic Advance 1-3 and the GBA Shining games might also be nice.

Re: Hoopa Pokémon Distribution Details for X & Y and ORAS Begin to Emerge
Wireless internet on my 3DS, but nope, I have to get on a train, head to the nearest city, go into a GAME, queue, and get a serial code.

Looking forwards to it, definitely a day one. It's too interesting to pass up.

Re: Reminder: Club Nintendo Closes in Europe on 30th September
Still sore that I bought the card matching game set and then they sprung the Goodbye CD album on us with no prior warning.
Re: Major 3DS Games Are Heading for Discounts in the Next Nintendo Selects Range
Surprised NSMB2 and MK7 aren't there. Tennis and Party are rather baffling choices.
(Also it's a shame the UK never got Pikmin 1 and 2 New Play Control as Nintendo Selects for the Wii. Pikmin 2 NPC is rather pricey.)
Re: Video Game Voice Actors Contemplate Strike Action Over Pay and Conditions
@ALinkttPresent Or it'll mean subs only.
... I'm okay with that!
Re: Video Game Voice Actors Contemplate Strike Action Over Pay and Conditions
Companies want their employees to be able to voice characters in their games without joining the union. The union is against that.
In summary: We'll see new, non-union voice talent.
Re: Nintendo UK Store Serves Up Incentives for Ordering Mario Tennis: Ultra Smash
I already have that Mario plush, so I'll pass on that.

I'll be getting it! For Segata Sanshiro!
Re: Rumour: New Report Suggests That Konami Has All But Abandoned Console Development
@mobilesworking I'd like to see a new Bloody Roar game. Hell, I'd even like a new Rumble Roses. But I doubt either of those will happen now.
Re: Rumour: New Report Suggests That Konami Has All But Abandoned Console Development
The cruelest thing is that their (and Hudson Soft's) IPs will languish.
Unless you love Pachislot.
Re: Talking Point: Star Fox Zero's Delay Could Be The Final Nail In The Wii U's Coffin
Doesn't Xenoblade Chronicles X count for anything? I'd say that's more Triple A than Star Fox Zero (and that's coming from a big PlatinumGames fan)

Tatanga, Princess Daisy, and Captain Syrup.
Super Mario Land for life, yo.

"SEGA SATURN, SHIRO!"
My favourite would be the Christmas advert.
