Update 2:
Bandai Namco has confirmed that 19th February is actually the correct date, not 16th February as originally tweeted by Nintendo of Europe.
Update:
Bandai Namco of Europe appears to have confirmed a 19th February release date, we'll try and clarify the correct date and update this article accordingly.
Original Article:
Project X Zone 2 is already on the radar for a number of 3DS owners that enjoyed the chaotic but arguably flawed original. Developed by Monolith Soft with publishing led by Bandai Namco, it's a franchise that incorporates characters from SEGA, Capcom and Bandai Namco IPs.
The new title has its share of exciting cast members already, but a recent Tokyo Game Show trailer reveal confirmed characters from Nintendo-published games that will make their way into the RPG. These are Fiora from Xenoblade Chronicles (joined by KOS-MOS from the Xenosaga series) and then a partnership of Chrom and Lucina from Fire Emblem. Nintendo of Europe has now shared a translated version of the video but also, importantly, confirmed a 16th February release date for the region.

At the time of writing there's no equivalent post from Nintendo of America, but it's also expected for the region in early 2016.
Are you planning to pick this up when it arrives in the West?

Here is hoping that NA is around the same time.
With it being a 3DS (and therefore Nintendo) exclusive, why not throw in more Nintendo characters?
I'll be getting it! For Segata Sanshiro!
@burninmylight Maybe they will, who knows!
@burninmylight Still 2 months till the Japanese release, plenty of time for more reveals to hype it up.
Bandai Namco already confirmed a North American release date days ago. https://mobile.twitter.com/BandaiNamcoUS/status/644347551366311937
@Operationgamer17 Days ago is being polite, that was almost a week. Seems like NA is forever waiting on Reggie to wake up. Maybe NOA should ship him to Hoboken?
I liked the demo for the original, although I never picked it up due to my backlog. During my winter break, however, I'll probably pick up the original game and if I like it enough, I'll end up getting this. Glad to to see it coming out early, hears hoping the U.S. Date is roughly the same!
EDIT: Nevermind, I see the release date is February 16th now! Perfect!
Earlier than i expected, cool
Good news!
Man, 2016 has a lot games to buy. I can already see my wallet begging for mercy.
Lucky you Europe! :<
but the game has to be good for my taste anyway.
@Operationgamer17 And happy birthday to me!
Skipped the first cause there was no sonic... skiping these one as well if the same happens..
Seems like Bandai Namco is taking some inspiration from Smash Bros. with this game...
Hope to see more characters from Nintendo for PXZ2, but just very few characters because those three characters from Nintendo are just guest stars for that game.
Still playing though the first one. That game is long.
I hope they'll release the Limited Edition over here, but whether they do or not this is a day one buy for me.
