Update 2:

Bandai Namco has confirmed that 19th February is actually the correct date, not 16th February as originally tweeted by Nintendo of Europe.

Update:

Bandai Namco of Europe appears to have confirmed a 19th February release date, we'll try and clarify the correct date and update this article accordingly.

Original Article:

Project X Zone 2 is already on the radar for a number of 3DS owners that enjoyed the chaotic but arguably flawed original. Developed by Monolith Soft with publishing led by Bandai Namco, it's a franchise that incorporates characters from SEGA, Capcom and Bandai Namco IPs.

The new title has its share of exciting cast members already, but a recent Tokyo Game Show trailer reveal confirmed characters from Nintendo-published games that will make their way into the RPG. These are Fiora from Xenoblade Chronicles (joined by KOS-MOS from the Xenosaga series) and then a partnership of Chrom and Lucina from Fire Emblem. Nintendo of Europe has now shared a translated version of the video but also, importantly, confirmed a 16th February release date for the region.

At the time of writing there's no equivalent post from Nintendo of America, but it's also expected for the region in early 2016.

Are you planning to pick this up when it arrives in the West?
