I was yawning when I was reading the article and I initially thought it said that Uwe Boll (instead of Wes Ball) was making this. I will remember the chill I felt at that moment for the rest of my life.
@Heavyarms55 and I’d argue against you in that Animal Crossing is about finding ways to do things that are interesting and fun that others haven’t thought of, including getting around rules. Whether perceived or rules that are explicit.
Some good things there, especially for rpg fans. But nothing, not one single title, that is a system seller. Nintendo needs to turn the heat on now. Next year is going to be challenging with the new shinies on the market with the PS5 and XBX.
Played Catherine back on the PS3. Absolutely getting this game again. One of my top 10 games all time, and the story is the craziest and funniest thing I’ve ever seen.
@m8e3point1415 it already got one. It’s called the Switch Mini. There will be no price decline anytime soon, no need. If anything, it may get a pack in game this year. But the only way it’d get a real decline in price is if the Pro comes out at the cost of the current Switch.
@BraveSonic ohhh yes. Want Miiverse back so bad, or it’s successor. Posting on Twitter is no equivalent. Want to see only people posting from and about Nintendo.
@PcTV I don’t know if the next gen from MS and Sony are the smallest jump in power ever, but they are certainly going to suffer from diminished returns. 4K and ray traced lighting are two of the biggest things coming our way (the latter for pc, don’t even know if next gen consoles support it), but graphics improvements are noticeably less and less, and by fewer people. every generation.
@Mando44646 no. People specifically cried about the cost of Super Mario Run. Most people really see a one time purchase, with the higher than normal (or non-free) cost as more expensive than grinding or micro transactions.
Wow, that was close. I chose Chaos but didn’t play. Good thing because I could’ve caused those very close percentages to go the other way if I would’ve played.
@BenAV and honestly, this is their goal. Give you just enough to want the full game, but not entirely fulfilling itself. Nintendo is in the console market, mobile is simply the carrot.
@Varelius uh, yeah I know what bitness means. I don’t really understand your comment though. X6-64 is just one 64 bit architecture. The Switch uses Arm though. The 64 bit Arm processors don’t only allow for 64bits of data, but the instruction set is different as well. Just like 64 bit x86 processors also doubled the general purpose registers. Full disclosure - I worked at AMD during the bring up and years after they shipped the first AMD64 (btw, officially that is the name, not x86-64 as a intel will have you believe.)
But none of that has anything with my reply asking why 64 downloads. I just stated 64 isn’t an uncommon number in the tech industry.
I have been waiting for it. I am one of the many that cancelled my preorder.
Will wait for the reviews. Very afraid this will be a technical mess with crazy frame rate swings, for instance. Who knows though, maybe they actually got it running really well. I hope so.
@ultraraichu 64 isn’t an strange number. It is a common binary number (5 bits, all on, or 1). It is one of the most common numbers in the processor world. The whole x86 world are 64 bit chips, for example. We started with 4 bit processors, then 8, 16, 32 and now 64.
@Gs69 it will be released physical for both Switch and Xbox when the patches/dlc are done. They are doing this so the physical version has everything included and doesn’t require downloads.
@BeanoWild sorry you don’t like it, but maybe other people do?
I love Yokai Watch. And it is nothing at all similar to Pokemon. I really love the offbeat humor of Yokai Watch as well as the gameplay. I even like the anime, hope they bring more than just the first movie to the states.

Re: Atari's Badass 'Fatal Run' Revival Nails A Fall 2025 Release Window
@JohnnyMind Yars Rising might give you a bad first impression of Atari. I’d recommend that you check the reviews first on that one.
On the other hand, their Recharged series of games have pretty universal love, except for one or two. Take a look at them too!
Re: Feature: "It Is Both Exciting And A Bit Terrifying" - Nightdive Studios On Reviving 'The Thing'
Atari is really firing on all cylinders these days.

Re: Review: Air Twister - An Arcade Blast From Yu Suzuki's Past, And A Missed Opportunity

@its_luke_c That isn't going to age well...
Re: Pokémon Scarlet & Violet: What Are The Differences? All Version-Exclusive Pokémon And More
@a_brave_new_geek Pokemon is one of the most popular 10ish video game series in history.
Yeah, you're probably missing something if you've never payed it. Kind of a weird question since it's pretty easy to find info on the games.

@DinnerAndWine wow, so people dying isn’t the worst news from the virus? Is it really shipments of the Switch getting halted?
Re: Random: Animal Crossing Players Are Filling Up Their Islands With Bugs And Fish
@Silly_G far less efficient and time consuming to store them in storage. This saves having to load back up at your house.

Re: PlatinumGames Wants To Bring The Complete Bayonetta Series To Other Platforms
@YenniferGeralt I’m looking forward to Bayonetta 3. Does that lower it from the ridiculously stated 98.9% that don’t care to 99.8%?
@Gwynbleidd there is already a Bayonetta movie. It is an anime.
Re: PlatinumGames Wants To Bring The Complete Bayonetta Series To Other Platforms
@purpleibby but the article says that Nintendo owns 50% of the IP. Nintendo does make the decision on even the first game.

Thanks, I’ll stick with my Switch.
