Never played the second one, assuming there was one for the second movie. Actually had a blast with the first one. Actually looking forward to seeing the reviews for it.
Complain to Sony or Microsoft. Nintendo strives for fun, not reality. Or better still write your own damn game that is a farm simulation showing your love for violence.
@Sonic200012 oh yeah, for sure! I hope by the time it ships we have Twitch or zyoutube to post videos like on the Wii U or stream gameplay easily. I want those two functions rather than Netflix or Hulu or any of the others.
@Sonic200012 kind of, but not a new game. A several year old game with a real battle mode is all it is. Not that I'll complain, I preordered it the second the switch preorders started.
Since they used some open source code, like WebKit that has a known security issue, at least now we can somewhat intelligently guess what they are doing. And yes, with OSS, they will indeed have to patch things, no more security through obscurity.
@Xaessya last time they said the same thing and quickly changed to the full weekend. That was due to load issues and it was impossible to join. I almost hope for the same this time, or that they just decide to go full days for any reason.
@gatorboi352 hardware, especially when new, is difficult to make. You aren't just burning discs, there is real engineering involved. That is why Nintendo, and all consoles in history, have shortages at the start.
@ninty-love I don't know, I guess just because Sonic games are hit or miss? I mean you've at least also got Splatoon 2 and Mario Odyssey. I mean, ok maybe either or both are t your cup of tea, but Sonic being the next big game?
Don't get me wrong, I am a huuuge Sonic fan and I preorder no matter what, but just buying the Switch hoping that Sonic is the only game outside of Zelda you are looking forward to seems like you just probably have too much hope on the game and may be getting it in the wrong console if the other big Nintendo games don't excite you.
Nintendo will win. Really not even worth reporting on.
@readyletsgo not that easy. Very much concern would have to be given to reliability. Nintendo would probably have to redesign the hardware and would want them off real streets. This would be exactly what they are already very likely doing at the Universal theme parks already.
@SuperTeeter64 don't be paranoid. Play. If you are really afraid just leave it docked for tv play or don't dock it you want to use it mobile. Worst case is that there is a real problem and Nintendo will have to replace damaged hardware.
Has anyone actually stated how widespread damaged screens is? Is it just a handful of vocal people, or widespread?
I was planning to get this game, but honestly I can't imagine getting anything else for my Wii U or 3DS. My backlog on both is already so big, and I am exclusively playing on the Switch right now and currently don't even have any desire at all to go back to the older machines. Eventually I will, but I have many great games to play thee that I'd never get to anything less than great.
@SLIGEACH_EIRE @MrGawain I didn't really care about a browser at all until I saw the video yesterday that a keyboard is supported. Of course when mobile you have a touchscreen but it fills up the screen. Now that there is keyboard support known I'm on the bandwagon.
@Stubi no difference in Zelda just because it spent years being developed for the Wii U. We will easily see better graphics (for what it's worth) but also far more interesting games, which is far more important. When developers learn how to utilize the hardware you will see your desired better graphics. But may as well get used to graphics not being the focus in the Nintendo world, rather gameplay, experiences and fun.
@RyanSilberman meh, I knew it was close enough to get the point across.
@BLP_Software yeah, it seems like the line between trash developers and small developers is pretty well defined. Nintendo just let anyone in last time so it is understandable that they would want to be a little cautious, but as always they are probably overreacting. I wish you the best and that Nintendo finds the right balance.
@Stubi that is very, very incorrect. The GameCube through Wii U were just updates. The Switch is a wholly different beast using a completely different architecture (arm vs risc) and got (Nvidia vs AMD). They couldn't be any more different.
@capitalism ha you do realize each region has their own office right? Of course Nintendo Of America is in the US. Nintendo of Europe is surprisingly in Europe though.
@ogo79 disagree. I'm still playing my Switch, and if there are hardware or software issues I just get my free replacement. No reason to punish myself by not having one because there might be issues that the company will just fix anyway.
@SLIGEACH_EIRE then again, don't use it. The NFC reader probably adds 50 cents to the controller. I doubt they would be 69.49 without it, so go and play a PS4 or pc game since you don't like a Nintendo at all. Or do you also troll their websites too?
@SLIGEACH_EIRE you would rate it higher if they defeatured Amiibo support? How about you just don't use it, and those of us who want the feature use it since it is available?
It only makes sense. They've already sold every Switch in existence, no reason to do more. Once they start shipping more and some actually sit on store shelves, they announce theVC, Netflix, etc and they get another bump in sales. This is good for Nintendo's pockets, and they have to do these things with their poor recent financials.
@Switch81tch oh you'd better believe they are coming! Probably next year though, they have to wait for everyone to buy all that they need, so that those new designs cause us to buy more than we need later. Just good marketing sense is all that it is.
@Yrreiht incorrect. The full Breath of the Wild experience is in the box. If you don't want to wait 4-7 years for the next game, then there is post Breath of the Wild content coming.
If you want to wait for the next one, please do. As for me, I appreciate that we no longer have to wait for a new engine or console to get more Zelda.
@Grandpa_Pixel probably that you will be playing the old games on virtual console or the remakes/scaled versions, which will more than likely be the case if you are going to still play them anyway.

@GameOtaku for sure I agree that the coop Zeldas are not really good, but just saying that with the Switch it actually makes more sense than it ever has before.
@DarthFoxMcCloud it actually kind of makes sense to not announce a whole lot. Let the initial orders sell out to people who will die anyway, then when they start showing up on the she Fed, give this sort of info for a second quick sales kicker to get to the holiday releases (read: Super Mario Odyssee).

@JHDK how will it compete with Scorpio? Will it have better games than the Xbox One all of a sudden? Nintendo competes with great games, not specs.

@Jessica286 ok well you are welcome Jessica. 128 is your answer after a simple search. I got it and it is great, recommended you try it.
