@Joyfultoad you could t be more wrong. My son caught hi. A few times online playing Mario Kart on 3DS. My son is a beast on that game, he never comes in anywhere other than first place. Unless he is playing Reggie. The man could race better than anyone I’ve ever seen. If you ever catch him online you will see that he spends a lot of time honing his skills.

And yes d know it was him. His name was his full name and it had the special characters around it signifying he was a Nintendo employee.

@Moshugan agreed. They absolutely need sharing on the user made content. This could be the Mario Maker of vr. Without it, this is just a little peek into a world that could be soo much bigger.

@SwitchForce um, sorry but no. Whee doyou even get that fto km? 100Gbit? We can do it now easily with a 45Mbit connection. The problem isn’t the throughput, it is latency. And 5G has latency lower than a human can detect.

Right now is actually the perfect time for someone to take a shot at game streaming.

I think it is a really great idea. This is simply testing the water for them. If it sticks I’d expect the often rumored Switch Pro to support at least 1080p and has vr in mind from the start.

Labo is really a great way to do this, just like phones started with cardboard before going full on headsets.

There are still kids in the world, and they will be playing this game for the first time. Have Mario or Zelda “grown up” too? No, they are what they are. If you’ve aged out (by aged I don’t mean your number of revolutions around the sun) then there are plenty of mature (usually meaning spending compute cycles on adding lots of blood and guts) games to be played.

@Kai_ not really a good time to do something new for the first non-mobile only game. Wait until the next one, gen 9. That is the one that we should expect to be something different.

Of course, the Let’s Go games were something different, but everyone hated them, right?

Wolf in The Legend Of Zelda, both with the Wii U remake and Breath Of The Wild is the best use of Amiibo. Having hearts in one game earned in another was cool. Hoping for more features like this. Don’t recall many whiners complaining about that one like they do with so many other features they’ve tried.

@ALinkttPresent not really. Most often people don’t announce where they are going. He may not want Juntendo to know, or he may not want us to know. He may be going somewhere that will no longer be customer facing. Or he may going to work on something secretive. Or a competitor. All are reasons that it is common to not announce where one is going.

2 Atari games are the retail releases for a Nintendo console this week. I really can’t figure out this world.

Love that this is zoomed in further than most platformers, like Ghosts N Goblins. This game really interests me more than most retro style games, think this may be a day 1 for me.

@John_Deacon I know the history of the series. You can refer to reviews of the latest incarnation to see that there has been a marked improvement in quality that should dissipate any hatred (or at least let you just ignore this game) since the old days.

Here is a secret in the industry (or well, anything being sold)- enough people bought the last one to warrant more. Guess someone out there liked it.

The previous game looked like a decent entry and I am certainly ready to give this game a try.

If so, it is shocking to me that there is no one from Arms. I really hope that up isn’t dead. Sure it wasn’t perfect, but with some improvements in a sequel it could really be something.

Getting games like this is really a sign of success. You gave enough consoles sold for very niche markets.

I always liked the cards and little toys of game and other characters that you just couldn’t find anywhere else.

I always thought TRU was really expensive until I started going back there with my kids, but they always had really good deals. They need to make sure to advertise their prices better than just dead newspapers.

@iLikeUrAttitude because it is fun primarily. People are playing now again because it is finally getting the features it should have had at launch. Only directly battling people is left to add of the required features. Also because of the linkage to the Switch games coming out.

Really wish Tokai Watch Blasters was on Switch. I’ll get it but don’t know if I’ll ever go back to the 3ds. Definitely my last game for it.

Do you play JRPGs? I’d imagine there will be some of that in there and maybe even some info about that amazing looking Nintendo mech game.

Nice to see a retro style game with modern graphics. Some retro graphics work well, but there are just too many that gives the appearance (probably true) of just not having money to do 3D graphics.
