@PlayedNSlayed that is a +1 for Doom Eternal for me. It would be more surprising if it doesn’t release for than the Switch than if it does in my thoughts.
You should really try Smash though. Especially with the story mode (supposedly at least, the Spirits rumor).
You can adjust the computer player skill and fighting Amiibos and training them is a blast too. Teach then to jump off the platforms or only block or to just stand there. Tons of fun.
Really digging this. Can’t wait to give my money to this developer for bringing such a great homage, but not quite exact replica, of a somewhat forgotten game.
Very cool and went to a great person. Not many people would have kept all of those prizes. Very nice picture of you in present day with them stacked up exactly the same. Great story!
Why yes, yes I will. Who cares where it releases, its region free. Maybe more for shipping, but if you are getting this I’m pretty sure you aren’t strapped for cash anyway. It won’t be cheap.
It amazes me every time we get a Persona game in the West. However, it would be odd to not get this, at least at some point, we get just about all of them. Such a strange series though.
Get ready for more and more games to go this route after this success. Sorry, maybe I’m too old, but I will only play games that.I pay for once and may have (large content) DLC.
Sounds like a lot of people have a bit of Mario Kart overexposure.
While I’m also cool with getting some dlc here and there, it would be really cool if they are actually working on Smash Kart.
Honestly, I think Mario Kart as we know it is done. They went too far into a Smash direction with the doc. Just like Mario Party has morphed into Super Mario Party, I’d bet the Kart game does something different after 8, and Likewise Smash morphs into something different after Ultimate.
I’m with everyone else. GameCube is my all time favorite console, with the Dreamcast a close second. Both had small numbers of games, but most were just fantastic games.
Yes, want! Hope Yo-kai Watch isn’t dead in the West. If they do bring 3 here I’d prefer it in the Switch. Even if that means we miss 3 and go straight to 4.
@thesilverbrick you just described the situation for every failed console. When Nintendo consoles are successful this is not the case. And speaking of cases, I’m done, this has been exhausting and silly.
@thesilverbrick you are saying that because you keep saying Nintendo themselves need to release more games when in fact we just need more games.
Again, doesn’t matter who they are from. You can be sure Bi tendon has resources on ports. And their output is now fully fleshed out. Fewer first party games that have tons of co tent is far better than more with less. Just a full schedule regardless of who they are from is what we need.
The more non first party games the better. It gets more than just the hardcore Nintendo fans buying Switches.
@thesilverbrick yeah, it that is the point. Instead of putting out games with very few features because they are having to release every game on the console themselves (Wii U Tennis? Animal Crossing Amiibo Festival?), they are releasing fewer games with tins of content. They are allowed that luxury because 2nd and 3rd party games are also being released and filling in the schedule.
Again, who cares if it is 1st, 2nd or 3rd party? You still haven’t answered that. If it is a fun game, it is a fun game. Nintendo should not be releasing the only games. That is why the Wii U failed.
@thesilverbrick and why does it matter if it is 1st, 2nd or 3rd party? You can be certain Nintendo is certainly working with them on this, and it wouldn’t be surprising if this is considered 2nd party and Nintendo owns the ip.
We always complain that we get no third parties, but then complain Nintendo doesn’t give us their monthly huge title. Why not be satisfied with a combination of both?
@Haywired they aren’t only lending their up to Ubi, they have been doing it for years and increasing it. Tekken, Hyrule Warriors, Starlink, etc. I think this one makes absolute sense.
The companies are reciprocating too with Smash. I’m sure there will be Ubi characters in the new Smash. Either or both Rabbids and Rayman.
@NewAdvent Hmm, I went back and looked at the headline and the article again and I didn’t see that.
it is the biggest already known game. Do you mind cutting and pasting the part about it being the “big thing” at E3?
Booth decoration doesn’t equate to “big thing.”
For instance, last year was decorated with Odyssee, but wasn’t Metroid the “big thing” announced last year? Not to mention many other big announcements?
Isn’t the expected “big thing” this year at least rumored to be Pokemon 8th gen and/or Metroid gameplay?
I think you can stop worrying and just enjoy. There will be something big so they can sell the 20 million Switches this year. It doesn’t rest solely on Smash. No one is deluded enough to think that.
@BensonUii it will be a looong time before something like Smash is cheap. Years. It ias a longer tail than just about any other game, if not the longest.
@Spoony_Tech sales of a console and sales of a game sure seems like different topics to me. I mean, if you only want 1 article for “sales,” then why not do 1 “games announced” article and 1 “games review” article?
Plus more posts help the website serve more ads, which means more revenue, which means the website stays up for you to complain on 😉

@Prof_Yoshtonics New SMB is fine, but I’m really holding out hope for another Mario Maker.
Re: Rumour: Yet Another Nintendo Direct To Air Tomorrow, Switch Online Details Incoming?
@PlayedNSlayed just curious, if you don’t like Pokémon (or is it just this one?) and Smash, what do you like on Nintendo consoles?
Re: Nintendo Enforces Takedown Of Fan-Made Game Creator Pokémon Essentials
@TeslaChippie Nintendo own the Pokemon brand.
Re: Review: Blade Strangers (Switch)
@Nincompoop no different than the 800 pound 10 pack monster males in games.
They aren’t reality. That is kind of the point of video games though.

Hate this. Would rather pay for a game. Hope others don’t follow with this micro transactions model. Keep that off if my Switch.
Was planning on buying, but no free to lose games for me.
Re: NIS America Announces Three New Games Coming To Switch In 2019

@Pokefanmum82 still counts though right? I mean, it was an option. The voting is for games, not just downloads.
I selected it. I got the special edition directly from NIS.

@thesilverbrick I don’t agree Super Mario Party was the “only new first party title.” Daemon X Machina looks absolutely fantastic.
