@Serpenterror it seems bizarre to me that Nintendo haven't released a big 3D Mario game for Switch 2 yet. Perhaps they felt Mario Kart World would fill the gap. I love my Switch 2 but it needs a bigger reason to pull more players away from the original in my opinion. Switch 1 sales should not be even close to it now.

@rvcolem1 I'm with you. I've never understood it, especially comparing it to other systems which aren't hybrid. I remember playing games like Grand Prix 2 back in the 90s at 20 odd FPS. The most fun I've ever had.

I stuck with the game just long enough to play through each cup once then put it down. It needs more than a patch, it needs a complete overhaul.

I so want this. Surely Switch 2 mouse mode support. This is the kind of game I upgraded for.

I probably put more hours into this then any other game on Switch. I tried out the boost mode and it's a big improvement, so if I get the Switch 2 edition might depend on price. If there is a discount for existing users then I will probably pick it up, but would rather spend the money on something else if it's full price....... then again 🙂

Despite watching Star Trek back in the day, I've never actually owned a ST game. I'm excited for this, really hoping it gets good reviews.

I bought the NYXI Hyperion a few years back and was rather disappointed. It felt cheap in my hand - loud, clicky buttons and lots of movement on the frame. To be fair I didn't pay much so perhaps this is more premium.

@ThisGuy215 I think it is because TV's have 60 or 120 refresh rates. You can't divide that by 45 so you get inconsistent frame rates, something like that.

@nessisonett I probably have RCT 1 & 2 tucked away in a box. I enjoyed 3, but for me it lost its charm when it went 3d. Loved the old school isometric

Personally I'm still playing Switch 1 but hoping to jump on board with Switch 2 at Christmas. So happy it's looking like another big success for Nintendo

I know the article described Switch sales as meagre but I actually think 1.89 million isn't bad for its age. Will be interesting to see how long Nintendo continue to manufacture it.

Is anyone else surprised at how well Switch 1 sales are holding up? I expected them to collapse. Has it surpassed DS yet?
