Nice! Will try and participate this time. Like others here I'd also love GameBoy games on NSO. Honestly they make more sense than N64/Gamecube as I suspect Nintendo would want to increase the monthly/yearly fee if those were included

I'd argue that Shadow the Hedgehog is a better game that Sonic Boom and 3D Blast and not sure it could really be considered more of a spin off than those two

Damn. This guy has a pretty good track record with these things too. No Garrus, Tali and Rex on Switch then I suppose

Really hope that we finally get an update on DOOM Eternal on Switch. Other than that I'm easy. A dream pick for me would be another Star Ocean title, maybe Star Ocean Second Evolution R? Not holding my breath for that though

'Technologically difficult' doesn't mean they think they can't port the remasters like some people here are making out. Obviously it's possible. Square Enix must think its not worth the investment of porting all of those games when the collections are already sold for very little on other consoles

Looking forward to this. Sounds like I should try and play through III before buying it though so I don't experience the story through summarised recaps

Didn't know what was meant by rollback netcode so that explanation is appreciated. My own online experience with Smash isn't too bad most of the time

I just like Kingdom Hearts and rhythm games, so don't see anything to complain about really. Sure it'd be nice to have the mainline games on Switch, but already got them on PS4 so not particularly bothered

Glad to have a November release date for Kingdom Hearts Melody of Memory. That Final Fantasy Gameboy collection looks pretty neat, might bite if the price is good

Nice! I do enjoy these spirit events. It does seem unlikely now though that Paper Mario will be part of Fighter Pass Vol 2

Definitely have more interest in the Queen game over this one. Although my other half would appreciate the Genesis song included here

@mariomaster96 Oh yeah DLC for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe would sell like crazy. As far as I know the only Wii U port that has received DLC on Switch is Pokken Tournament DX

@mariomaster96 I imagine they haven't bothered with Mario Kart 9 for the same reason Rockstar haven't bothered with GTA VI. The current game sells too much so why invest in making another. It'd eat into Mario Kart 8 Deluxe's sales success

@MeowMeowKins Not a lot of people have talked about it, went a bit under the radar I think. Tough to compare with Sword/Shield since they're so different , but I'm 40hrs into Mystery Dungeon Rescue Team DX and I think its great

Shame Nintendo only seem to report on games that sold 1 million+ in a quarter, would be nice to see how Pokemon Mystery Dungeon is doing. Think it was at 1.2 million back in the last update. Hopefully done well enough for another game

Mad how popular Animal Crossing is. Wish Metroid Samus Returns had done better, I really enjoyed it personally. Nintendo's sci-fi games very rarely sell particularly highly I suppose

@Toshiro_Baloney Assault is my favourite game in the series so I'd be all for that. It would definitely sell better on Switch too seeing as it released on the fairly unsuccessful Gamecube the same year that the Wii was announced

I'd get it. Star Fox Zero was better than a lot of people gave it credit for. Although I would prefer one of the Gamecube titles got remastered for Switch honestly

I've never played a game that involves singing, but I'm tempted by this

@stinkyx I feel this. Used to be really into Blazblue and then 4 entries in they stopped dubbing and the cast felt like different characters

@Luigivaldo @Tourtus Regular Samus and Falco will definitely be a part of this. These tourney announcements don't always show all the characters that can take part

21/21. Struggled with the Oracle games and original Links Awakening

Tempted by the Star Fox 64 offer even though I already got it physically on 3DS when it came out. Just want Nintendo to see there is demand for the series after Zero flopped

I got this at launch and the handheld touch controls are great. Didn't spend much time with the docked controls, but it's nice that there's co op if you play that way

Looks brilliant, I love how faithful it is to the game. Shame its not out this year, but at least they have time to make it the best it can be

Too easy for anyone whose played a lot of Smash. Would have been interesting if more Fire Emblem characters were involved!

Very excited to watch this. Hope the English cast from the game returns, though I'll watch it in Japanese if its the only option

@Krisi Wow, I didn't realise the cross over period was so long! The closest thing I guess we can compare that to now is the Just Dance games coming to Wii, but even then that's kind of an outlier

@Barbara001 @garydbz25 Fingers crossed for an announcement on those collections soon! I think all but 1 of the songs shown in the trailer have played on the games on Nintendo consoles so that shouldn't be too much of a barrier really. Final Fantasy is very Playstation-centric and Theatrhythm was still a success on 3DS before half of FF games were ported to Nintendo consoles

Starlink is definitely fun and a solid game, but it would be great to have a purely Star Fox game some day on the Switch. Will definitely keep an eye on this one

Let's Go Pikachu felt too watered down to keep my interest. My neices loved it though for the catching mechanics. Most the improvements those games made are now in Sword and Shield, so Let's Go sequels would have to do a lot for me to get my own copy

Finally! Got so used to seeing impossible requests when trying to complete my Pokedex in Pokemon Moon, surprised it took so long for Game Freak to stop jokers putting those trade listings up

I'm actually quite excited for this. Yes, like the naysayers, I also think the collections should be ported to the Switch, but I love rhythm games and Kingdom Hearts so this is perfect for me

@Axlroselm They are yes, although as old as some of these games are they should probably be the default prices.

Anyone know if the mercenaries modes for any of these games are cross platform? Seen no mention of it in reviews so I'm guessing that's a no, but being able to play this online through the lockdown would be a major selling point for me

That Banjo reveal was brilliant, nice to see Rare themselves posting this! Honestly after getting Banjo-Kazooie I barely cared who the other fighter pass characters were. Nintendo and Microsoft made so many happy

@Tandy255 While I'd like to see them on NSO as well, I think the main reason for wanting the GB games in a new collection is the idea of upgrading the graphics the same way the original Allstars did. Some of the other games here don't necessarily need updating

@bluemage1989 Those were my four choices as well. The Mario Land games were the first games I ever owned and it would be nice to see them get more recognition. Especially since the Bros games have been re released so many times in comparison

@Silly_G The only thing ridiculous there is buying both Sword AND Shield and then buying the expansion for both. No one is expected to do that, that's your choice. In reality it's much cheaper to buy one of them and the DLC than it would be to buy Pokemon Sun and then Pokemon Ultra Sun for the extra content for example. This is a step forward in their practices

That's nice to know, it's always a shame when the voice of a character is changed between games or movies. JRPGs are still a niche genre so there was definitely cause to wonder whether she would be back. She must have enjoyed voicing Melia originally
