Understandable that due to the format the speeches need to have some kind of limit, but 30 seconds is way too short, you don't hurry Aonuma off the stage! I enjoyed the Game Awards, but Matthew Mcconaughey, Anthony Mackie and heck, even Hideo Kojkma didn't need to be on stage quite as long as they were if it meant that developers didn't have time to accept their awards

@Andee The game on sale, Dark Arisen, is the first Dragons Dogma. There's only 1 game in the series currently available outside Japan, but there's a second game on the way

Not a huge drop-off for Warioware so thats good. I guess I shouldn't be surprised that Star Ocean is out of the top 10. Guess we'll find out tomorrow when places 11-30 are revealed, but hoping the Switch and PS5 versions at least will be there still

Good to know they're updating it. My copy is still sealed and sitting on a shelf. Have had too many other games to play

Star Ocean and WarioWare only in the top 40 for a single week, just painful. I know there's a lot of competition this year, but ouch. Some great games are being slept on

Shame WarioWare hasn't done so great this time, been really enjoying it. At least Star Ocean Second Story R is doing a bit better than SO6 did last year, but not by a lot considering its on Switch

@Mauzuri its a really great game and you'll be able to jump in without having played the other games. One of the two playable characters is the son of two characters from Star Ocean First Departure, but Second Story gives you a short recap of what happened if you select that character. The story of the first game is irrelevant if you choose the other character so either way you're good to go

@Porky Not hard at all, the whole game is on there. The download is only for additional languages and bug fixes. English and Japanese included on cart @CANOEberry pretty sure the download is optional from what I've been hearing. Will confirm myself when my copy arrives

As a huge fan of the series, I'm loving seeing this one get great reviews across the board. So excited to play this once my copy arrives and hopefully Star Ocean Till the End of Time will be remade next

I really want to try them, since I love tri-crescendo's work on Eternal Sonata and Motoi Sakuraba's music, but the English dub being removed is kind of a deal breaker. Maybe I'll pick it up and keep it shelved then wait in hope that it will be patched back in due to complaints. Haven't decided yet, this should have been an easy preorder

Can't believe this. Didn't know the Quest for Camelot had a videogame until I found it in a preowned store a couple months back and picked it up. Loved the film back when it came out, so strange to see this get re-released. Weirdest NSO additions yet

Its slowed down big time then. In the UK you can pick these two up for cheap so that makes sense, a lot of people must have sold or traded in their copies of the game. I still haven't picked it up since there's so much Pokémon content to play on Switch already, but if I do it'll likely be a cheaper second hand copy so won't contribute to sales

It would never happen, but I'd love to see an Eldorado race track with playable Miguel and Tulio, maybe they could share a kart that's based on their house Altivo

@RareFan the article mentions a Madagascar stage, so I'd be surprised if Alex and Marty weren't included

I'd only been using the subscription for Smash Ultimate and Dead By Daylight so decided not to renew. Ive had my fill of playing those now and I own most the GB/NES/SNES/N64 games that I'd want to play anyway physically or through the mini consoles so the subscription offering doesn't do much for me. Nice to see a cheaper deal though, rarely seems to happen with this one

Interesting, I wondered where the name came from. Still not tired of seeing the same thumbnail for every new Baten Kaitos article, the cover art is gorgeous. Still disappointed at the English dub removal though, but I suppose there's always the Gamecube versions

Was planning on picking this up whenever the patches improved the experience, but looks like I never will at this point, such a shame. I've still got more Legends Arceus to play and never did the Crown Tundra DLC for Sword/Shield so not gagging for more Pokémon, they release this stuff frequently so maybe by the time the next game comes out I'll be done with the pre-Scarlet/Violet games

I'm still disappointed that this is Japanese only. I want to be excited for these games getting remastered since I always wanted to try them, I love the Gamecube and Motoi Sakuraba's music, but I'm finding it hard to be excited when I know they've removed all the original English voice acting. I wish they would at least give a reason or better yet add it as DLC, I'd even pay for it although it should really be a free update

@Daniel36 the floating islands in TotK are a very small part of the game, from what I've played anyway. You spend more time on the surface or underground

Was so excited to hear about this earlier today. Star Ocean is one my favourites. This is the only one in the series that isn't available in HD outside of Japan as well. I hope Katsumi Enami who redid the artwork for First Departure R will do the same for this 'R' release as well

Will wait for the physical blu-ray. Spending so much to rent it digitally doesn't appeal to me, especially when a couple of cinema tickets are cheaper and you get more of an experience

@jbreez00 If you actually do want to try this game the physical copies are still out there. The big loss is the Revelation story path as that is DLC locked, but that's supposed to be the worst of the 3 story lines. The other two paths had physical releases

@Yosher its not like all the physical copies of this game are going to suddenly disappear tomorrow. The only thing to be concerned about with this game is the DLC

Might go through some games on NSO and see if I want to purchase them on Wii U for keeps for after the NSO service ends

Sounds great! Just wondering how does co op work? Do both players play all the same notes or is each song split with each player playing half the track?

Such a shame about the removal of the original English voices. Wonder if its something Namco/Nintendo might consider offering as a free update

I'll probably pick it up at some point. Its really not where I hoped the series would go though. I enjoyed Three Houses a lot, but I think Radiant Dawn and its lore and story telling will always be my favourite

@NCChris The 30th Anniversary was over 2 years ago. It was celebrated by the original NES game getting a limited, translated release on Switch

Like others have said here, I'm really not a fan of how everyone seems to look the same. Characters like Lucina and Edelgard have lost so much in the transition to Engage's art style. I love Fire Emblem, but this game still needs to win some of us over

@mr_somewhere Maiden of Black Water is the only one I've played and I really liked that so definitely looking forward to playing this remaster. Hope it gets a Western physical Switch release

I don't really get all the Ed Sheeran hate honestly. I only know 2 or 3 of his songs (including this one) and even I know he's been a pokemon fan for years so it just kinda makes sense. To each their own though

Already got the remasters on Wii U. Simple for me really, if they're better on Switch then I'll pick them up, but if they're the same remasters just without the helpful gamepad features then no way

I mean we got the Switch OLED less than a year ago, whats the hurry? I say that as someone with only the original Switch as well. Not expecting 'Switch Pro/Switch 2' until late next year at the earliest

I'm surprised we don't see more of these articles on new characters coming to the game to be honest. Seems quite random that the first time it happens in ages is for characters who are from a Japan exclusive game and in wedding outfits as well

Extras are always nice. Will definitely be picking this up since I'm based in the UK. Hope the game does get a physical release in North America though

Love Star Fox and Krystal. Awesome that the Estelle Ellis is involved. I'm just not impressed with the model and over the top 'physics'

I wish these games would be discounted for PAL systems as well. There's a few Atlus games I'd love to try, but they either don't have a physical release or the physical is really expensive

I'm one of the 70mill, but I never made it past all the terms and conditions you have to sign just to play it. Just left a bad taste in my mouth so had it deleted. I wonder how many others did the same
